Everything was set and my appointment rolled around. The lady I requested ahead of time finished applying the acrylic and shaping in a timely manner. Business started to pick up and customers came in requesting pedicures. The lady I made an appointment with passed me off to some other male worker. I was fine with it because all that was left was black gel polish, no design, filing, or extra stuff. He began filing and buffing the acrylic that had already been buffed, as well as my cuticles, absolutely destroying my fingers. Then started applying the polish, getting it all over my fingers. I started to get frustrated because it was as if a child was trying to paint my nails. It wasnt until he finished painting the black gel (before the top coat) where he took a tissue and tried wiping the SOMEWHAT cured black polish off. He didnt explain what was going on at all so I finally stood up and explained that I would pay for what had been applied, but I no longer wanted to receive the service. They could not understand that I was upset since my appointment had been switched with another nail tech who was obliterating my nails. After explaining why I was upset, ANOTHER employee grabbed my card and tried sitting me down to finish my nails. In the end, I had to grab my card and leave as they were refusing to listen to me. Will not be returning here, and neither will my family/friends.

While the nails looked nice at first, the durability was not what I expected from a full set. I was hoping for better longevity and support when issues happened so soon after the original appointment. The service felt very performative--she applied scrub but didn't actually massage or work it into my skin, skipped lotion entirely, and barely spent time on my feet. At one point, she even scratched me with the pumice stone by dragging it harshly across the bottom of my foot. They also don't offer disposable sandals, which led to my freshly painted toes getting smudged almost immediately. That alone was frustrating. I won't post my toes but it's just like my manicure. While the person who did my manicure paid more attention to my cuticles, the polish itself was just as bad--thick, stringy, and clumpy. It honestly seemed like the salon uses low-quality or old polish. The most concerning part, though, was what I witnessed regarding sanitation. After finishing with a client, tools were rinsed in the sink, placed back into the same "sterile" sleeve, set on the same towel in their cart, and then transferred into a new sleeve. I've been to independent nail techs and have never seen such uncleanliness in presentation of establishment and business owner, no shade she looked like she just crawled out of bed with no care. She initially burned my nail with the UV lamp which gave me another red flag, but after I pulled my hand away in pain she tried to be more intentional in not causing me pain when curing the nails. She also put on 2 nails crooked and after asking if she could fix it, she said that she couldn't bc the press on was cured & she'll fix it with builder gel (not as successful as she figured, my nail still looked crooked asf. I've also had nail techs who are willing to pop off the nail even if it's cured just to get the customers satisfaction of receiving a cared for service & not give some quick cash grab set of nails.
