I went to the appointment on time and she handed me consent forms to sign. On the consent form, there was a note that I couldn't get a lash lift on acne meds. I didn't know that prior because she did not give me the form till I arrived. I informed her that I was taking accutane until last month, and she replied that I needed to wait at least 6 months until I could get a lash lift, which is true! She was very visibly annoyed so I apologized profusely for wasting her time (it was an encounter of less than 15 min) and that was that. Fast forward 6 months. The groupon is expired at this point because they expire after 6 months, but they are still usable unless there are price changes. You'd just have to pay the difference, which I was willing to pay! I made another appointment for today but I suddenly got very sick last night and went to the ER for severe nausea/vomitting. I informed the business owner of this and tried to reschedule my appointment. I was still willing and able to come in but I wanted to let her know in advance and give her the option to cancel because there's a chance I could be contagious. She, rightfully, did not want me to come yet still insisted I pay the cancellation fee, which makes no sense. I'm not trying to infect anyone, which is why I tried to reschedule in the first place. I was not a no contact no show. I did not choose to be sick nor did I need to inform her I was sick. I could have just showed up and gotten the service I technically already paid for through groupon, potentially getting her sick in the process but I didn't do so because that's messed up. The fee is only $20 which is not a big deal, but it's the principle of the matter. It makes no sense to tell the customer not to come and still make them pay for not coming. It's like I'm being punished for honesty. Don't bring your service here, she doesn't care about her clients.

When you walk in the door there's a lobby/waiting area. Upon entering, Danika quickly came down to greet me and bring me upstairs to her space. It's so feminine and I love it! Great clean smell, bright airy room, glittery walls, acrylic seating, low key, quiet and relaxing. I was in and out in 15-20 minutes! That includes prep, wax, pluck and clean up. And it's always been this way. Not a rush job at all. She's just really fast and efficient at what she does. All the while we are having great conversation, easing the process, and catching up on each other's lives. I couldn't have asked for better service! It's extremely easy to schedule an appointment with Danika by text. She's always very responsive and has a pretty flexible schedule and has always been able to accommodate a convenient appointment. After scheduling an appointment, she sends a confirmation through an app that texts you the details of your appointment. She accepts cash app, Venmo, and cash.
