I walked in for service but they didn't have availability so I scheduled an appt for the next day with the nail tech. SUPER CUTE NAIL SHOP!!! Today I popped into Polish House for a gel mani and pedi. As soon as I walked in I was impressed by the super cute decor. One thing that stood out was the coffee/tea bar. Such a cute personal touch that really creates a relaxing vibe. However, the best thing about this place is the great customer service. The owner is super cool, friendly and sweet. My nail artist, Jen, was amazing. She is very patient and personable. I chatted with her the whole time! Above all she did my nails good. I love them, they are perfect (and I am a very picky girl - no shame)! Overall, this place is great and a much needed addition to the neighborhood and the city! I've gotten my nails and pedicures done for years elsewhere at random shops but never have been real happy (I'm picky, I'll say it ). Anh always is professional and knowledgeable. If I trust her and her work, that says a lot. I spend my money where I feel is worth it and Polish House is worth every penny. Bonus: Getting my nails done helps me from biting them and helps my anxiety cope in more healthy ways. Go see Anh and her team! Eyelash Extensions: Anh also does amazing eyelash extensions!!! I feel like a million bucks when I have my nails, pedicure, lashes, and makeup done! Brow Wax/Tattoo: I've struggled with my brows for years. Since I was 6 or 7, I've had thick Armenian/Native American hair. That's when I got my first eyebrow wax. I've had the best of experiences and worst. First time here and the Yelp reviews are 100% accurate. This place is amazing. Very clean! I felt safe because the tools that were used were sanitized and in a package like when you visit the dentist or doctor. All of the staff was friendly and the environment was inviting. I didn't feel rushed like when I got to other salons. The quality of work was even better. She really took her time to make sure I was happy and offered suggestions throughout the process. Trust me I needed a lot of guidance. I don't usually get my nails done because I hate the smell and service of most salons, but not here. Will be coming back for sure!!! read more

I stopped at this place because I had forgotten to book a fill at my normal spot, and my nails had grown out so much. Boy, I should have just waited. Where do I start? The nail technicians are VERY inexperienced. The way the acrylic was being applied left my nails looking lumpy. I pointed this out, and was told it would be fixed during filing. That didn't happen. She only used one tool head, which was the sander. It was getting so hot it was burning my nail beds. Since the acrylic was applied improperly at the base of my nails, it began to flake off and she began to apply wet acrylic to dusty nails and didn't give it enough time to dry before she tried to sand the nails again. As an hour approached, and I realized she was still sanding away, I informed her I had another appointment to go to and asked if we would be finished soon. She said she was almost done and for me to wash my hands and she would paint. At this point all of my nails were rough and nowhere near smooth. I asked her if she was going to smooth them. She then asked another technician for a buffing square and buffed them. At this point I had been there an hour. The other employee came over to finish my nails. She painted them, the paint job was very sloppy. The front tips weren't even painted. She looked at my nails and asked if I could come back the next day (she knew they looked horrible). I explained that I wouldn't be able to and that the nails didn't look good. She then said, "you should have told us you have somewhere to be." I explained to her that I had been there an hour. I get my nails done all the time. An hour is definitely enough time to complete a fill. Her attitude was horrible. She waved her hand at me and told me to just go. As you can see in the pictures my nails are lumpy, inadequately filled in spots, the paint job is amateurish, and you can see the green polish I had previously. Not to mention my cuticles are chewed up. If you want your nails done correctly, go to Blush Nail & Beauty Bar. They fixed this mess for me, which is shown in the last picture. If you are looking for professional level work and great customer service DO NOT get your nails done here. I would definitely not recommend. read more

I'm really surprised with this salons rating. It's hot, dirty and really run down inside. The pricing is fine, $45 for a gel pedicure - however the quality of work was not it. My toes were not cured properly. The pinky toe was over painted on my skin and chipped off. My big toe was dimply from the layers under still being wet and entirely peeled off. I came in with two broken nails and Mimi patched me up with some acrylic and then finished with a gel manicure. Total was $40 ($35 for gel and $5 for the acrylic fix). She ensured that all my nails were the same length, did a great job with the polishing and did not rush at all! My only complaints are that the entire sides of my nails were not thoroughly painted as you can see in the photos, the towels underneath my hands looked slighty dirty and worn out, and the metal tools were sterilized but file and buffer was not new. read more

Love this place, love the women working here! It was an overall great experience. Started with making an appt for six via Yelp app, which Ann responded within five minutes of my inquiry. We showed up for our appt to mimosas, fruit, pastries and spicy meatballs! We weren't rushed to pick colors. They all did an amazing job. Three of us had gel mani's, two got fiberglass w/gel polish and one had acrylic fill w/gel polish. Color choices were awesome and they basically did whatever we asked for. This nail salon is freshly opened and ran by Anh. She is extremely welcoming and kind. Right when I came in she greeted me with a smile and even though I was early she sat me down right away to get started on my pedi. Her nail tech Hern was very thorough and always made sure I was happy with how my pedi was coming along and that I was comfortable. She kept conversation and communicated well with me. I've been to a few salons and some don't bother to communicate with you, this place is not like that at all. Also!! My leg massage felt amazing!!! & My toes came out super cute. Thanks again Hern! Anh herself did my fill. I previously had my nails done by someone else and I was unhappy with it so I came to Anh for a fill/fix. She listened to what I wanted and went off the photo I showed her. From my phone call to paying my tab, they were amazing. They said come right in and once I got there they were ready for me. They offered me a beverage and made sure I was satisfied with the color choices of gel polish. They conversed with not just me but the shop as a whole! It was a breath of fresh air. This was by far THE WORST nail job ever and I've been getting my nails done for over 20yrs. I asked for thin and natural full set. There is nothing thin and natural about my nails. They are bulky and thick as heck! And on top of my nails coming out as horrible as they did, it took 3.5hrs!!!!!! I will never ever come back. Had such a good time getting my nails done here. They are so down to earth and I love my nails. Got so many compliments.

I originally made an appointment for just regular polish, but they didn't have the color I wanted so I ended up doing gel, but even then they didn't have the exact green I wanted, but settled for what they had. I asked for the design (img attached) with green as the base, and white stripe instead of black. My hands ended up with the diagonals going all different directions on my left hand, and my right hand all were in the same direction except for my thumb. The picture I showed her had the diagonals going all in the same direction. My pinky on my left hand doesn't even look like it's at a diagonal at all. You can see through the polish on some of my nails, and theres fibers and bubbles on some of my fingers. She cut my cuticles too short and ended up cutting me on two fingers. The nail tech didn't even clean up the edges of the gel off my skin all the way before sticking my hand in the UV, so a day later i've had 3 fingers chip away already since the gel lifted off my skin and got caught while i was washing my hair and peeled off part of the polish from my nails!! On the plus side, the tools came out of a sterile, sealed bag so I don't think my cuts will get an infection. read more

Also because of their attention to detail when doing my nails. The first time I went I did dip powder, my nail tech was MeMe and she did an awesome job! Second time around Anh did my nails and she recommended hard gel, so I decided to try it out and I loved it. It feels super light compared to dip powder.
