We picked up our dog and found that all four of his paws had multiple cuts and dried blood at the nail beds. We've never seen anything like this. When we asked about it, the groomer said, "it's just cuts" and "I just shaved it too short" no remorse at all. When we asked for a refund, she refused and only gave $10. This feels like animal abuse. We tried to support a small business, but save your money--go to petsmart or another groomer who genuinely cares about your pets. It was heartbreaking to pick up our baby in this condition. Wow. They groom cats. Woo hoo. Awesome. Dropped the cat off at 8am and by noon she was ready. Smelled great and the shave was even.

Ive been going to Angels Pet grooming for over 10 years. I have watched the price of a bath and cut increase steadily. It is now $85.00 for a medium size dog to get a haircut and bath. I have never complained about how my dog is groomed till now. I took him in and made my request like always. A schnauzer.cut short. Leave the ears long and trim the belly clipped short. When I picked him up I was running late for an appointment. After the appointment when I got home and took a good look at my dog I was surprised to see the cut he had been given. It was not the usual clean schnauzer cut. He looked terrible. It appeared as though they started to groom him and stopped in the middle of the cut. His underside left long his chest uneven. This was definitely not an $85.00 haircut. The next morning my dog had to be taken to emergency for a medical emergency. They ran test and advised me not to expose him to any other animals till his test results came back. As soon as the vet called and said my dog showed no signs of being infectious I went to Angels to explain they had not done what I told them I wanted. I explained because my dog had been taken to the vet for a medical emergency and I was advised not to expose him to other dogs till his lab work came back. The owner started to insist it had been three weeks since we were in. I stated it had been 1 week and 2 days. I showed her my bank app clearly showing the charge 1 week and 2 days prior. With an attitude she picked up my dog and headed to the back. I told her associate to ask her to tell her, she can get mad at me all she wants, but not to take it out on my dog. I was assured she would not. My grand daughter picked up my dog and when she got him home and I saw what the groomer had done I was so upset. I could believe she had taken her attitude out on my dogs hair cut. His underside was not clipped short and even. There was a gouge by the clippers center on his chest hair around was uneven. One side long than the other. His ears are to be left long but now were short.? This woman has been grooming my dog for the past 4 years and has always done a pristine job. I've never had a reason to complain. I've been very happy with her work until now, and because I went in to ask her to correct the problem. She got very upset and did a worse job. My grandma took our dog for a full service that included trimming and he was returned to her like this. Their reasoning being he was moving too much and it was difficult. I understand that point but feel they should know that a husky should not have their hair this low due to health and regrowth reasons. Would've preferred a call and for the trimming to be stopped in that moment rather than for them to go all the way. Can't be a groomer and not have that knowledge. I've been taking my cat here for years to get a "lion cut". Each time was a normal experience until recently when I sent my son to pick up the cat from there. I didn't notice that they did a really bad job this time and didn't shave him evenly until later that evening at the house. Under the cat's belly was totally missed and a lot of hair was super long on top of his body. See photo below Several weeks has gone by and I've been too busy to bring him in to point out the bad job they did. When I brought him in on 6/22/24, I explained to the owner the issue and right away they refused to do anything about it and told me it's normal that hair grows back uneven. That's some BS. Our cat contracted a terrible case of ringworm here in May and we've been treating it every since. She's extremely uncomfortable, lethargic, barely eats and it's costing a fortune to treat it. We have to keep her quarantined and can't interact with her, which feels so cruel, and are fearful of getting it ourselves. It's also super inconvenient. Each morning and night we give her a medicated wipe and spray 15 minutes apart. We give her oral medication every other week (she needs to get checked by the vet every two weeks since the medication is toxic for her liver) and a medicated shower every 3 days. We've spent around $1,000 for medications and tests and it's all just really frustrating. It was our first time at Angel Pet Grooming and the process of bringing her there was quick, easy, convenient and painless, but -everything- since then has been quite the opposite. They brought my first pup out with BLOOD ALL OVER HER LEASH and it was soaking wet with water like they tried to clean off the blood. My dog was TERRIFIED. I used to go to Angel's abt 10 yrs ago for a few yrs for my chitzu grooming needs, prices were low, clean place, very decent job, I remember I stoped going because they kept him for over 5 hrs, and that's too long for an anxious dog. I just returned to Angel's for same shitzu now 13 yrs old and a lrg Husky 15 months old husky (very long knotted messy hair) Carmen handle her very well, did a excellent job with her, she looked so beautiful and left no knots and the trimming look perfect, very even, other places didn't want to take her since she is very hyper, Carmen did great with both. Again the reason I don't give the place a 5 star, is because I was there at 7 55am, they open at 8am and they said about 3-4 hrs, and they call me to tell me it will be 6 hrs!! I am sure they took other dogs that came after me. I was the 2nd person there, again keeping a dog for 6 hrs is unreasonable, I hope they can work on their management. read more

No real issue I know they did not do it on purpose. I usually call or just comeby last minute and ask if they have time for my dog and usually they say, "ok." Not the best in grooming but not the worse. Just tell them how you want your dog to look and they will do it for you. I bring my dog's at 1-2pm and they are ready in 2-3 hour's before 5pm. Must pick up at 5pm or extra charges are added. I have been consistently taking my 2.5 lb Tea Cup Min Pin here for baths, teeth cleanings and nail clippings and they have always been pretty punctual and inexpensive. My one complaint is that I called and asked how long it would be for a bath if I dropped him off when the store opened and they quoted me an hour. I got him there and there was one other dog visible in the store. When I asked again how long, they said "we'll call you". I waited 3 hours and called asking what the status was and they hadn't even started. They told me it'd be another 2 hours, I said it was unacceptable and drove to pick him up, which was about a block away from my home. We have brought our dogs here for over a decade. The owner has a good heart and knows how to handle difficult dogs with ease. They would brush out our rough collies' undercoat. They made our smooth collies feel at ease even though they hate baths. Yesterday, our new set of goldens came back looking gorgeous. Their fur was silky and glistening, their nails trimmed, etc. Typically you can get your pet in and out in a few hours, especially if you come early.
