They are the worst nail salon I've been to. I'm handicapped and walk with a walker. I was already a burden for going there. I picked a pink nail polish and they put a reddish nail polish on. When I question the color they were annoyed with me. They picked a pink color without asking me if were okay and painted that color over the red. I was so upset and it got worse. When I got to the front desk to pay the girl who did my nails snatched the tip money out of my hands. I was mortified, and left very upset with my experience there. Went with my daughters. One tech was working on all 3 of us at the same time while also answering phone calls. All 3 of us left unhappy. 2 seconds hand massage for myself and my older daughter. nothing for my youngest. we went here bc our normal place is closed on Sundays, next time I'll wait! Air brushed ombré on a powder nail! 7 of my nails are missing parts of the ombré not even 1 hour later. I can go 4 weeks without one chip with my reg place. I paid $120 plus $40 tip and I'm so upset I don't even want to go back for a correction. I'm not even sure if they would offer it because I'm so disgusted I don't even want to call. To begin the ladies were very nice and sweet, however they were very rough with my nails. The place itself was very dirty and unsanitary and when I asked for the chrome design they just gave me a shiny gel polish. it would have been completely fine if they just said they didn't have the chrome but instead made me pay for something I hated. This place is just okay. I have been twice and have had the same results. Pretty decent pedicure and terrible gel manicure. I usually go to a place in Bay Shore, but didn't feel like the drive so I tried then again. I am happy with my pedicure and thought it was pretty relaxing. They definitely try and up sell you a lot. A woman that was in the chair next me was asked 4 times by her nail tech to upgrade. Exacerbated the woman finally said I don't have the money and that was the end of it. The woman looked embarrassed and I felt bad for her cause regardless you shouldn't have to be badgered. As I write this I notice my gel is starting to life. Stay away...far far away!! I actually went here for many years because there wasn't a lot of other options near my home. I have a few examples of what finally drove me to my breaking point with them: 1. Anytime you get a pedicure they try to upsell you. If you ask for a regular pedicure, they try to upsell you to a spa. If you ask for a spa, they try to upsell you to a more expensive spa and so on. If you say no, they keep asking over and over. If you don't get the expensive spa pedicure, they try to upsell you on the callous remover. Same situation here, if you say no, they keep rubbing the bottoms of your feet, making faces, and telling you that you need callous remover. I have seen it happen many, many times. 2. I was getting my eyebrows waxed one time and asked the manager if she thought I should I should get a lip wax (I have blonde hair above my lip). She said no, you cant really see it and once you start waxing it, you always have to do it. So I didn't do it. The VERY next time I get my eyebrows done by her, she tells me that I really need to get a lip wax!! 3. I used to get gel manicures there, which should last about 2 weeks. Within 3 days, I would have an entire nail's polish pop off or start peeling. 4. The very last straw was I decided to get acrylic tips before I went on vacation. I had worn acrylic nails on and off over the years and never really had any issues. Within 5 days of the new tips, I had 5 nails break!! I decided finally to visit another nail salon near my office which I occasionally went to for pedicures. I told them I wanted a fill in and they started to do the fill and the rest of the nails also started coming off as they filed. They ended up taking the Angel Tips nails off, and putting on a new gel tip set, which I have had for about a year, look wonderful and never break. Lastly I know in many of this type of nail salon, the people that work there speak in a foreign language, but in this one, they do it frequently and you just can tell they are talking about the customers by the way they are talking and looking at the customers. Sorry for the long review, but please please don't waste your money here. There is a much better nail place in Waldbaums shopping center on Sunrise Hwy if you want to go somewhere locally (don't know if I can mention names so I wont). read more

I tried this place because it's near my house and I needed a simple pedicure. What a mistake. The woman who was assigned to me started to cut my nails - only she cut my skin - not once, but twice! I was actually bleeding and had to insist to the owner the woman not touch me again. The owner apologized as did the woman, but when I was told she hadn't bothered to put her glasses on before starting, that sealed it for me. Another technician finished the job but even she did a barely acceptable job. Nails were full of ridges that should have been buffed out. This place sucks !!! I went there and got a full set 2 days ago and 4 nails already came off. This place is the worst nail place I have ever went to. The pedicure massage was the only good thing about this place expect for the fact that my lady spoke barely any English and didn't know what I wanted. Also I paid 35$ for coffin shaped nails and they aren't even good they just look like thinner regular acrylics. and can I just add that the lady used some kind of adhesive spray and clear nail polish to put the tip on!!! I would go to get a regular pedicure and manicure but the whole time they pressure u to get some fancy pedicure that costs a ton more. They don't take no I'm not interested for an answer. It is very uncomfortable and rude. Once they exhaust all measures to sell u the spa pedicure they will next tell you that you have calluses and need to pay more for callus remover. So I work in the plaza across from this nail salon. I really needed to get my nails done for my anniversary the next day and I figured I would just go here on my hour lunch break as I just needed a gel manicure on natural nails. I didn't even bother to look at the reviews because I figured that a nail salon that's in a shopping plaza , has to be a good nail salon. Rent is super high and expensive in these kind of areas, so the businesses have to be making good money right ? SIKE YA WOULDA THOUGHT I had an appointment at 2 and I was literally out of the salon at 2:23 it took them 23 whole minutes to do my nails!!!!! I'm sorry but I have had artificial nails before and use to spend hours at the salon just to get a manicure. but never have I ever had such a quick ,horrible , unpleasant expierence getting them done. The guy didn't even give me a regular manicure , he just filed and plucked and then was off to applying nail polish. There was no relaxing feeling, just the feeling of being rushed. Like he had no desire to even be there. So after my rather quick and rushed nail job, guess what happened days later ? THEY STARTED TO CHIP! Yup that's right, a GEL manicure started to come off just days after getting them done. Probably because I didn't even have them under the UV for even 15 secs! Worst nail place I've ever been to. I should have taken the hint when there was no one in there except two workers and the guy behind the register. I asked for a mani and pedi and it's cost. They said $28 which included a 5 minute massage. I asked what it was without the massage the guy behind the register jumped in and said $28 dollars. Apparently with or without. The woman who did my nails hardly touched my cuticles. When she put the lotion on, she barely massaged my hands and wipe them with a Luke warm towel. Next came the pedicure, which she spent a good deal of time trying to upsell me. And very insistent. I finally had to say in a firm voice.." No! I don't want it!" Then she insist i need my heels and sides scraped. There was no way I needed that. Again...had to tell her " No" firmly or she wouldn't let up. She then informs me that the 5 minute massage on my legs is part of the "massage." I then go to the dryers, and she barely touches my back to massage...maybe 30 seconds...and says "ok!" Meaning she's done. I go to pay her and ask to add the tip on and she says " cash for tip." She then looks at the other lady and in front of the on,y other customer in the place she says very sarcastically " You don't have cash for tip???" Gave her the cash. I then proceed to put the dry polish on so I can leave and she comes running over to do it. Probably afraid I would use too much. By that time I had had enough and said..." STOP! I got it!" I am a Flight Attendant and rarely get the opportunity or time to get these aching feet pampered. Never again!! read more

I never write reviews but I felt like I had to share this experience. First I call and say I needed to be in and out in a hour and they tell me to come in at 12 and I will be done at 12:30 for a gel manicure. I come in early and I hear a woman getting mad because she got a powder gel and they had her sit under the dryer for 20 minutes and she had powder caked all over her fingers. Then, another woman was arguing with the manager I'm assuming about money. Then, they had me soak my nails to get my gel manicure off for... 25 minutes. When I say I'm have to go, the girl comes running to take off my nails and complains that I should be coming to them for now on because it is too hard to take off. I tell her I go to multiple places and I've never had someone tell me this. She tries to take off my gel manicure and is hurting me taking it off. I told her forget about my gel manicure and just take my original nail polish off and I'm gonna go. The girl got mad and finished and cleaned up and walked away. I am disappointed in the service I have received. They use old polish ( Gel). After spending top dollars for service I was not given consideration for their unprofessional job done on my nails. Only thing they offered was to charge me another 5 or 6 dollars for a design while they fix a nail that was just done at their shop and it peeled by the time I reached my car. I would not recommend them. I had to go back in 3 days after having a gel manicure for them to fix another 2 nails. This was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten in my life. A friend and I went in on a Saturday for pedicures and we expected a wait, but were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated immediately. By accommodated I mean basically pushed into a chair & left to wait while the foot bath got cold. One tech started working on my friend & basically started giving her a spa special pedicure despite her protests. Whatever it happens. 30 minutes into her pedicure another tech started on mine and proceeded with the same treatment. Part of this treatment included a callus removal step. According to the bottle, this stuff should not stay on your feet for more than 10 minutes. 17 minutes later (my tech was working on the other two people, that had come in about 5 minutes earlier) my feet started to burn. I kept asking if I could just wash the stuff off and salvage what was left of my feet, but the other tech told me "2 more minutes". Only After I got fidgety and was showing signs of discomfort did they remove the lotion. I then sat for another half hour in the same position. At that point they were already trying to hustle my friend out by making her pay...we drove together so she wasn't going anywhere. At this point, a guy comes out and starts putting a base coat on my toes. The polish wasnt even entirely removed and I hadn't gotten 1/2 the additional services that were supposed to come with this package. At 2 hours into this I was ready to get the hell out of there and to resume normal activities. When they rung up my friend who so graciously treated I almot hit the floor...$85.00...for a pedicure and a half basically. A week later whatever polish lasted longer than the first 48 hours is chipping away, which is a vast improvement from what I left with. No thanks!! read more
