The pedicure by Angela was excellent! She took her time but didn't say a word and came off as rude. I don't care bc I'm not there to socialize just do my feet. After, I got a dip powder manicure and that's where I almost lost my cool. Cindy did it but as the owner she seems to be concerned with everything but what's in front of her. They were shouting the entire time back and forth and it was chaotic. She did a terrible job on my dip powder and told me next time "to get fake nails so they would be longer". I told her I'm not interested in fake nails. She did a crap job and I should've never cheated on my nail lady but I was by my mom's house and pressed for time as I leave for vacation tomorrow. I was in search of a new nail salon because I'm planning on moving to the Coram area in hopefully a few months and I'm in Coram every weekend anyway. Aroma was highly recommended to me and after 2 visits I am so happy I took the advice!! A week ago I went for my first manicure and the service I received deserved 10 stars if I could give them. Cici was my technician and was so meticulous throughout my manicure. She took extra care in my cuticles which is always important to me! The first picture is how perfect my nails are today, a week later. I went back for my pedicure today. Lucy was my technician as Cici was busy but Lucy was just as attentive and meticulous. I chose the Mango Spa Pedicure and I can't rave enough about how fantastic my feet look and feel. My legs and the bottom of my feet are as soft as a baby's. The callous remover, skin scrub and 10 min massage is included in the cost! The entire staff is so friendly when greeting you! The spa is big and very clean and organized, filled with customers. A huge plus for me is that they are open 7 days a week! I am thrilled with my new nail salon. Even though they charge a little more than my previous salon, I will gladly pay it because believe me, the way my nails and feet look and the service I received are absolutely worth it! NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY TIME AND SANITY. I moved to Selden a year ago and have been coming to this salon ever since. In the last few months it has gone absolutely down hill and today was my last straw. I went in a week after getting my nails done because I had broken one of my nails and wanted to get it fixed. It is in the middle one seen in the photos I have posted with this review. Cindy in the one who did my nails today. When I sat down, she grabbed my hand aggressively while on the phone talking to someone else, and just looked at my nail didn't even talk to me. I understand you have to run a business, but there is no reason to treat your clients with disrespect and disregard. As she started, she asked me if I wanted a new topcoat on the rest of my nails. I will say they are a little worn down as I am hard on my nails but I did not come in for that. I said no thank you just the middle one to be fixed please she said OK. As she's putting the color on I realized it was not the same pink. You would think that as a professional nail tech you would make sure it's the same color but I'm pretty sure she thought I wouldn't notice and just continued because she doesn't care quite frankly. I said, is that the same color? Her and the male owner got angry with me and started talking in Chinese and getting frustrated looking for a new color. She forced me to sit down as I tried to get up and help look for the new color. They found one and basically forced me to use this new color that she thought was the right one. Luckily for her it wound up being the same. The entire time she's doing my nails by the way, she's twisting my arm over and over to the left and I just wanted to scream my arm doesn't turn any further. She was so rude I was so heated. As she's electric filing, she proceeds to use it on other nails that were not the one I was asking to get fixed and once again, I said no please just the middle one. "She said it's only two minutes. It's not a big deal." I said "I understand but I don't have time." Even if I did have time I asked her to only do the middle nail when she had previously asked me if I wanted topcoat on other and I said no. Do what your clients ask. It's not your nails. She is just so inconsiderate. She then goes and picks up the phone once again and is doing the topcoat on the three nails that she filed down without my permission and I'm looking and the filing is just not matching my other nails. It looks horrible and wonky. I put my hand out because she was not hearing me trying to get her attention because she was on the phone and not paying attention to her client and she looks up at me and assumes that I'm rushing her and said, "it's just two more minutes and then you can go." I said "no its not that I need you to file this better" and she used my words against me and said "oh, but you have to go" and then gave me the stink eye. She proceeds to rush to put the top coat on and leaves my nails and hand with m powder everywhere, with a half ass filing job that looks horrible and unfinished. She don't "go you have to go, don't touch for 5 minutes". I am so fed up with this place. read more

I went here again today because of my results from last time, but time was disappointing. They have done it all!! Temperature is taken outside and name and phone numbers are recorded. Bottom of shoes are sprayed with sanitizer. Client must wash hands as soon as they enter. All techs are wearing gloves, goggles, face shield, mask & hospital gowns. Plexiglass partitions are between each tech and the client. Pedi stations have shower curtains between chairs and plexiglass partitions hanging between tech and client. Prices have gone up slightly- which is posted on the wall. But with all they have done to make themselves and us safe- it is worth it. Well done Cindy! read more

I'd been trying to save money by doing my own nails, but she educated me on completely removing the nail product off the nail before doing a new set / style to avoid fungus. If I could give negative stars I would. I went in for a powder dip. I've been here before with no issues. The woman who helped me was named Cindy. She sat me down then spent 15 minutes walking around yelling at everyone else. Then she sat down and grabbed my hands. She asked if I wanted my nails cut or filed. I said JUST FILED I like the length, just clean up the shape. I ended up with tiny misshapen nubs of nails. She also filed the sides down so much that my fingers hurt. I have dents and divots all over in the nails. One of my nails has blue fuzz in it under the powder. The powder dip was also done so thick that it looks ridiculous. I also have 2 nails that look like they were growing out for WEEKS because the powder dip is so far from the skin. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend. Truly an awful experience. read more

I'm not one to go on a bad review rant but this is needed. Every time I come here it's a bad experience. They f**ked up my wedding nails back a few months ago to where one of them came off the day before my wedding and they refused to fix it, wouldn't refund me, told me it was my fault and that I could pay to have it redone. I went to another nail salon and the owners there felt so bad for me that they paid for my nails (The place over by khols in Ronkonkoma. Love them!). And then, for Mother's day, my Aunt and I went and we took my 87 year old grandma with us, who has dementia and parkinsons. We went here because it was the closest/easiest thing and I really regret coming here. My grandma barely understands whats going on, and getting her nails done is something she still really enjoys. My aunt and my grandma sat next to eachother and the two workers doing their nails were laughing a lot early on. One of them proceeds to pull her mask down and jokingly make gag sounds and faces while holding up my grandmas hand to show the other girl while they continued to laugh. This happened a few times. When I went to go pay, I said to the owner that I was incredibly disappointed at the way my grandmother was treated. They barely understood me so they went and got another worker who spoke english. I explained the situation and then they all got defensive. They started going off on my aunt saying "no that never happened" and "no sorry its not like that they dont speak english" and we were like... just because you dont speak english doesn't mean you weren't making fun of my grandma. And because my grandma doesnt know whats going on, she gets easily worried, so theh started trying to talk to her to which we told them please dont talk to her, let her enjoy her nails, dont get her worked up. They weren't happy with us telling them english or not they still made fun of her. Not to mention the aditude from the ladies doing pedicures when I said I just wanted a regular pedicure and I didnt want the $40+ "spa pedicure". Then while im paying, i went to go write the tip on my card for the girl who did my pedicure, and wholever was working the front desk told me to "leave the tip line blank, we'll take care of it" and at first litterally tried to stop me from writing anything on the receipt. Why so you can write in whatever later on?? Nooo?? So i wrote in something and they were like oh we cant do that. Do you have cash?? And i said no. So i crossed off my tip on the receipt. When we were trying to leave they then tried to tell my aunt that I didnt pay. They continued to do this after i even showed them my receipt. Then as im walking out once we were all done, they asked if i was going tip the pedicure girl, and I responded that I tried to and they wouldn't let me. Then we left. Incredibly disappointed and will not be returning. There's a better place over by Papa Johns in Selden, and the place over by Khols in Ronkonkoma. Polish was done very sloppy, I have nails that have areas without going polish on my hands and feet, I also have nail polish on my skin. Won't be returning and I do not recommend. They give an appointment but you will still wait an hour. This salon is a little more expensive than others in the area and they do a great job. That being said I can't believe the rude treatment I experienced today. I watched the woman who I believe to be the owner repeatedly rush and rudely direct customers around. I did have an appointment and did not mind the wait I understand it's a very busy salon because they do great work. But the customer service aspect is completely lacking. After my nails were done I asked to get my eyebrows done as well. The owner who did not even let the girl who did my nails put the finishing touches of oil and lotion on herself rushed me to the sink then to the room for eyebrows. She did them herself and when I tried to look in the mirror when she was done she turned the light off and said come come. While paying I asked about the point system and she shoved a piece of paper at me to read not even making eye contact. The paper didn't even answer my question. She said pay pay and took my card.
