Took my sister and my nieces here before my brother in law's installation dinner, because my sister suggested it. My nieces have been dying to get their nails done with me and although I already am sporting a new set from my girl, I decided to grab a pedicure with them. The salon was able to fit us all in and was super patient with my nieces. Especially when the older one couldn't make up her mind between a pedicure and manicure. The salon and services itself were great. Nice and clean. The color selection looked solid and they several design offerings displayed. Now I have to get butterflies my next manicure. I had a great experience here ! I was in need of a pedicure. I used Yelp to see what was in the area. This salon popped up and after reading some reviews I decided on going. I got there right after opening. It's a big and open salon and it's very clean. I was taken right away. From the moment I sat in the chair I was very comfortable! I decided to treat myself to a spa pedicure instead of a regular one. After looking over their spa options, I went with a cucumber pedicure. The smell of cucumber was relaxing and fresh. The nail tech that did my pedicure was wonderful. Continued to ask if the water temperature was okay and even asked if I liked the color on my toenails after she applied it to one toe. I had a very disappointing experience at Snow Nail Spa and will not be returning. The nail technician was extremely rude from the start. When I politely asked him to change the size and shape of my nails, he became visibly annoyed and started getting snappy with me. Instead of trying to make sure I was happy with the service, he acted like I was inconveniencing him for simply asking for what I originally requested. While filing my nails, he repeatedly burned me with the drill, and there were multiple times when he squeezed my hand unnecessarily hard, which made me very uncomfortable. The nails themselves were mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. They were extremely overpriced, and several of my nails were noticeably different lengths. When I pointed this out and asked him to make them longer so they would match, he responded with a very sarcastic attitude. He kept asking, "is this good?" in a mocking tone, clearly irritated that I wanted the nails corrected. At one point, he even slammed my hand down on the table while working, which was completely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. The pricing was also ridiculous. I originally asked for a certain shape/length, which he was unable to do correctly, yet I was charged an additional $10 when I asked for it to be fixed. There seemed to be an extra charge for absolutely everything. My total went from around $80 to $95 because of all the add-ons and surprise fees that were not clearly explained beforehand. To make matters worse, I felt pressured into leaving a tip. The way it was brought up made me feel uncomfortable and like I didn't really have a choice. The owner even said when i was paying "make sure to put a tip" when i was getting my card out of my wallet. The staff was also rude when discussing appointments and acted bothered whenever customers had questions. Throughout the appointment, it also seemed like he was talking negatively about me and my sister in another language while looking at us and reacting to things we were saying. While I obviously can't know exactly what was being said, it created a very uncomfortable atmosphere and made us feel unwelcome. I've also heard similar experiences from friends. One of my friends was quoted $115 for a very simple French design with a small flower, which is extremely overpriced. Overall, the customer service was poor, the pricing was excessive, and the entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. The quality of the nails did not match the cost, and the attitude I received for simply asking for corrections was unacceptable. Love this place. Been going for a while. Nail's last a few weeks. They need to do better with pedicures. They do not clean or push down the cuticles at all. Day after $50 pedicure and a $10 tip I find myself cleaning up my toes. They do not clip corners of the nails. If you get the 10 minute massage they should focus on the massage and not "straighten" up the work station. read more

The facility is very clean.. However, I went for the first time, a regular appointment pedicure service & upon sitting down I was offered a pedicure massage service and she hadn't mentioned it was an additional service, and I was charged additionally without being told. When going to dispute the charge I was only offered $5 off, and was told theres nothing that could be done despite being misled and falsely advertised. I moved back into Holbrook about a year ago and I hunted all over looking for a nail salon that was clean upscale and that had technicians that were kind and good at what they did. Well let me tell you after spending months at so many different salons I found snow nails. This salon has been renovated so beautifully. The nail techs are so kind and gentle. The choices are so great. I have never walked out of this salon disappointed. Their prices are in line with other salons. The salon is immaculate and everyone is pleasant. I will be going to this salon for a long time and recommend it to anyone looking for sanitary conditions, choices and just a comfortable experience. read more

Nice new owners. However, no hot towels. They do a disposable lukewarm paper towel that does nothing. The best part of any service is the hot steaming towel. Won't go back unless they change this. read more
