If I could give this place 0 stars I would but of course politics! I went in with my disabled mother and her emotional support animal who is still in training and is a puppy. My mom was happily growing around and when it came to lining up for the cashier, they were moving things around chaotically and bumping into people so of course my moms dog let out a bark in the midst of the busy traffic and an employee dressed as a cat was making rude remarks to my mom about the dog and after assuring her the dog wouldn't bite her and she would continued to make gestures and comments about my moms tiny 2lb dog. I really don't appreciate a company known to support disabled children and adults not being supportive of emotional support animals. I hope you can rethink the employees you hire and how they treat customers. read more

At 4:30pm, the cashier, older lady with glasses and gray hair was yelling at a little girl for accidentally taking someone else's item from an abandoned cart..Again a little girl. How unprofessional and twisted do you have to be to take your anger out on a little girl. The little girl did not know. That woman needs to be more professional or removed form being in the front. I hope someone from angel view upper echelon reads this. I think you may need to be reminded you are a tax exempt non profit. And operate a thrift store with completely free donated items. I have never seen such outrageous prices for highly used goods. I would put a photo of the $300 rusty walmart brand bike. But I can't. Revivals and other thrift stores have better prices for sure. This store is extremely expensive for a thrift store. The employees have favoritism and give discounted prices to people they know. I went in today and found two items but the employee took them to the back and came back with higher prices. I got very upset and asked for the manager but she was no help. the employee said the reason for the price change is because there's no boots being sold for $9.99. But I had another pair of boots that were $9.99 and I had put back. The other item that the price was changed didn't have a tag so I understand but they priced it at $15. For a thrift store that's supposed to be for people of lower class I thought this was crazy. They get things for free but price things up. I even saw a jacket for $350.... read more

This place is clean. The day I went yellow tags were 50% off. A couple of our friends bought dresses, denim jackets, glass serving bottles, purses and shoes! The ladies found treasures! The worker was so nice that one of our friends wanted the denim jacket from the mannequin display and so she took it off the display. They were so HAPPY that we took the time to stop by. read more

No idea. Went by at 19 minutes before closing and they were standing at the door and said they were closed. I said the website said they were open for almost more 20 minutes, I was told yes they are, but that nobody could come in, because they were closing. Strange. read more

This is a pretty decent thrift store. The prices are fair. Everything is organized and it's a fairly large store. Parking is right outside and its easy to access the front door. It seemed to hold a large majority of older ladies' clothing and had very few "younger" styles on the racks. read more

This is a small Angel View thrift store, but it is incredibly well organized. It's tucked away in a strip mall that faces away from its Hwy 111 address. You have to drive between the car wash and quick-lube place to get to the lot. But there are some good deals to be had. If you need a sequined dress for a black tie affair, you can get that here. There are nice sets of dishes and some good appliances available. I got a quality roasting rack for $2.99. On another trip, we scored some fun 45s and LPs and a proper glass for wheat beer. It's not far from the La Quinta Goodwill, so I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Terrible customer service - website is wrong about closing time - I was rudely admonished that the website had been wrong "forever" and I should know that by one of the rude female workers. Wouldn't take donations either 15 minutes til close. Was told they are closed- sign on door said closes at 5. Still had 15 minutes. Won't be back and won't donate there any more either. I will never go back because of their "new policy" that you cannot buy anything that is missing a price tag. I wanted to purchase a small velvet jewelry bag and when I checked out they told me they couldn't sell it without a price tag. I offered to wait until they took it to the back to get a price, but Joshua, the manager, told me they couldn't do it today because it "had to be re-processed". Great little store in old town La Quinta. worth a visit. Some things are more expensive in thrift store terms, but the high quality of gems to be discovered is well worth it! Found a beautiful set of Sheffield England silver & enamel Salad Servers. Look for the color of the week for HALF OFF! This isn't a big department store size place so don't expect Revivals or a giant amount of inventory. Definitely worth a quick look-see to see what's in store! read more

What a mess. Angel View is overpriced by about 500%. I find like items for less on sale at Macy's. Strong off odor, some clothes are soiled. Service is terrible. The girl up front acts like a pissed off teen, totally unprofessional, have her a second chance last week. Would never go back. Thrifting should be fun, and a savings. I am not sure who decides on their pricing but seriously all of the Angel Views except maybe Palm Springs location have lost their minds!!!! This is a thrift store... remember? Most all of their shoes could be bought New for a fraction of what they are pricing them at... the clothing isn't far behind... this is used stuff and a lot is in used shape? This is my local thrift store where I donate all kinds of stuff, including a near-new Sony Blu-ray DVD player, DVD's, a flatscreen TV, etc. I also shop there often. I can honestly tell you that they have almost no customer service, nor desire to serve their customers at all. Today I saw a line of Hispanic customers lined up at the register and the only salesperson was sorting through clothes 30-feet away. I wanted to buy a queen-sized boxspring and I needed help so I politely asked the employee if they had a cashier. She came right up, rang up the waiting customers, then called for a man to come up from the backroom to bring me a new boxspring. It took him a long time and the cashier said he's checking the price. I said "the price is marked right on it, it says $139. Then five minutes later the man comes back with a just-printed price tag list and he says, "It's $199". Oh right. Make me wait, disregard the marked price, then print out new prices WHILE I WAIT??? Last year I paid for a used sofa for my mother. They put a "SOLD" sign on it while I confirmed that my mom would accept it, (she's picky about used furniture). Mom said no. I drove back to Angel View and told them I was sorry but my mom didn't want it. They said, "no refunds!" That sofa never left the store, but my $150 was gone forever. read more

Seriously!! Skip this joint!! I have donated tons of stuff here, but no more. I figured I would be helping provide low cost donated items to those who need a bargain for their families. So I stopped in on Saturday to check it out. Not the case - you might as well go to a department store and get something NEW where the prices are the SAME. I mean, really, they are going to have a backup of inventory because who in the world would pay what they want for items that, let's face it, have been GIVEN to them with the best of intentions.
