I got an original design art piece along with other artwork and a beautiful glass vase from Poland (thick glass) among other things. When I learned he ships anywhere, I was able to get a large square glass dining table that my daughter- in- love fell in love for them (house warming gift) -- it will be shipped up north. Austin has a wealth of design knowledge he willingly shares. He is personable and also helped us fit everything in our van creatively. We couldn't have done it without him! However like everything the prices have changed drastically. Gone are the $1.25.... Everything is now $2.25 so take that information and do with it what you will. 2- it JUST opened so it looked extremely clean and well stocked. The real test will be how it looks in a few months. If the staff can keep it that way then props! However I did noticed a lot of shoppers letting their small children play with toys down the aisles and carelessly bumping into people without so much as an excuse me or sorry. 3- The store was PACKED with people, the line was around the corner, and they had a self checkout section as well as a cashier. Once again it JUST opened. So it's to be expected. As far as Daiso's go... this one was in line with most of the others I have been to. Lots of easy parking and tons of goodies to browse. Today we took advantage of being retired geezers on a Monday and drove out to Indio to buy some…read morefresh produce and get some lunch that has been recommended here on Nextdoor. The store is on the northeast corner of Jackson and Avenue 50. {If you don't want to have heart palpitations, come in from Calhoun Street going south and turn right on Avenue 50, and right into the lot on the corner of Jackson because the cars from the two two-lane roads hustling at that Stop Sign are enough to raise your blood pressure a lot.} We saw displays of the most beautiful produce inside the door. Plump oranges, zucchinis, broccoli, cucumbers and many other items show off their freshness and aroma. We found cucumbers, zucchini, carrots and the most fragrant strawberries ever. A bottle of Pico Pica hot sauce rounded out the purchase. Their food truck is parked on the southeast corner of their lot. @elowtitos @lgdesertstore We ordered two carne asada mulitas, a burrito, and loaded fries. Everything was delicious. The staff in the store as well as the food truck are so lovely. My husband was using a walker and everyone in the store was super helpful. We look forward to scooting over often now that we know about this wonderful group of people and the magnificent fruits and vegetables.

It's everything you would find at the Indio Swapmeet - just in Coachella and on a permanent , smaller scale. Some things here I found to be audaciously expensive (like mexican dresses threads), while other things I found extremely bargained down (large framed paintings) I guess it depends on what you are looking for. It's smaller & bit narrow filled with lots of good stuff, but you'll just have to muster courage to get through it. And patience for all "kinds" people you'll encounter here (yes any cheaper priced store attracts all the weirdos & not the lower end, also the higher end of the "human food chain" - just don't act surprised, just deal with it. Their other competitor which I won't mention is also in same shopping center- spread the wealth and shop both!!
