I cannot say enough about Peaceful Pet Passing and Dr. Bob Linett. From the moment he walked into our home, the way he spoke to Skylar and all his kind and comforting words to us, made it a little easier to say goodbye to our beautiful girl. My husband and I have been struggling over the past few months whether to let Skylar struggle and pass on her own, or to let her pass peacefully in our loving arms in our home with her best friend Rory near her and able to say her goodbyes as well. I am so thankful we made the choice and found Dr. Linett and Peaceful Pet Passing.

If you're in that moment, where you need to send your furry baby to rainbow Bridge this is the group you want to help you through the process. They come to your home make your family and your pet feel comfortable. Dr. Sherry went through the process and gave us time to each stage.. Dr. Sherry was very understanding and comforting. Our family was grateful that they provided a service to help you at your home.

Peaceful Pet Passing truly lived up to their name. Dr. Sherry came to my home and helped my beloved dog, Luey, pass peacefully and with dignity. She showed so much empathy and kindness during one of the hardest moments of my life, and I will always be grateful for the compassion she gave both Luey and my family. The process of receiving his ashes back was very quick, which brought me comfort during a painful time. I can't thank Dr. Sherry and Peaceful Pet Passing enough for their care and understanding. I highly recommend them to anyone facing this difficult decision. Thank you so much Dr. Sherry for your kindness at such a difficult time . -Allison

Dr. Bob was here for us and Stoney when we had to make that decision to help him over the rainbow bridge. Stoney was almost 10 and a sudden onset of health issues came up and the quality of his life was not what we knew he would have wanted. I called Dr Bob and he was able to come to our home and was so compassionate and caring. we will never go to a vets office again to say goodbye if we can help it. we had the time and opportunity to say our goodbyes in the comfort of what Stoney has always known as his home. thank you Dr Bob for being such a wonderful person for all the furry babies we love and for us as well! Can't say enough about this business. We had the unfortunate event that every pet owner eventually faces. Our sweet 12 year old German Shepherd, Tank passed away at home this week. I called Dr. Bob and got a call back. He sent over his daughter Dr. Sherry later that morning to do the paperwork and to pick up Tank to get him cremated. She was very professional and empathetic as was Dr. Bob on the phone. I would highly recommend this Father/Daughter team!! Thank you both for what you do!!

The Angels sent Dr. Sherry Linett to help our kitty, Waifur, pass on without fear or pain. Waifur hated traveling and being caged, so he fell into a permanent sleep in my lap, his favorite place.

I had to say goodbye to my 13 year old Golden Retriever. I contacted them and Dr Bob had time for me. It was the most calm and peaceful Euthanasia experience. He was amazing. Highly recommend him to help your pet crossover.

Dr, Sherry was absolutely amazing during a very sad and difficult time for our family. We had to say goodbye to our 16 yr old lab mix and she came over and helped us feel at ease and was amazing to us and our younger dog! She gave him and us the time to say goodbye and have some closure. Can't recommend this company enough!! I would give 10 stars if I could!!

While it was heartbreaking to decide when to free our 12 year old dog from the health problems she suffered with, it was made so much less frightening given an at-home option when it was most needed. Like anyone, we were cycling through different levels of grief over the many months of working with our veterinarian to pinpoint, address, and solve her many battles with advanced aging. Imagine, when it was time for her to transition, having to drive our dearly loved and struggling pet once again to a clinical setting where there are other clients and their pets going in and out, a wait to be seen into a small windowless room, and then standing at a wait-room counter doing paperwork afterwards. Instead, we reached out to Peaceful Pet Passing online, got a very quick response, and set up an appointment time that met our needs. Such kindness and gentleness accompanied the entire process from first-contact to sending our dog off with them afterwards. The technical procedures for euthanasia are the same no matter whether it's done at a clinic or at home, so the differences for us were that our dog was able to avoid a stressful drive there and back (through our tears and her likely discomfort), to simply stay at home with her companions, and find relief in a surrounding she loved, rather than in a hospital setting. She was carried to our private backyard deck that she had always loved so much, surrounded by flower beds, and were able to sit with her on her favorite porch swing while finalizing paperwork. We were talked through each step of the process before and as it progressed, and had all of our questions answered. After sedation and euthanasia -- and for the first time in more than a year -- her body was so peacefully relaxed; fully restful and pain free. Lifted, finally, from the burdens of advanced illness. We now have the most beautiful memory of her final day to counter all the months of pain, sadness and grieving that had come before. Surely, we miss her sorely and will continue working through our grief. But that has been made so much easier for us by opting for this loving process offered in a comforting, familiar, and private setting. Thank you so very much, Peaceful Pet Passing, for your compassion, service, expertise, skill, kindness and gentleness.

They gave my dog a very full physical exam and asked a lot of questions. The vet suggested a medication who was not pushy about it. She even offered to write a prescription so I could find the lowest price at my leisure. Will definitely be coming back here for all my family's pet needs. I wish I took pictures, but it was also very clean and organized. They had a dog get nervous and go to the bathroom in the front lobby, and the gal upfront immediately cleaned it up with a sanitizing mop bucket.

They "only" charged $3400 for the cleanings, and failed to ask us if we are OK for them to remove all teeth from what used to be one of our dog's cute overbite. We also had to pay another $1500 for a follow-up emergency visit because they injured the other dog (and failed to tell us about it). Doctor must have a twisted sense of reality, because they told me the dogs did "fantastic" when I was called after the procedure. Dog 1: Permanent Disfigurement without Consent They extracted all six lower incisors from one of my dogs without a single phone call to discuss the necessity or get my consent. They effectively destroyed his signature look and "overbite" forever. We dropped off our cute dog and picked up a "small beast" with only two visible lower canines, all because they couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone. And I will be requesting the x-rays and get a second opinion in the necessity of the extractions, because the other incident described below shattered my confidence in their competence. Dog 2: Injury and Cover-Up While my other dog was under anesthesia, the staff managed to lacerate both of his ears while trimming his face. Let that sink in: they cut a dog that was chemically immobilized and not moving. Even worse, the doctor called me afterward and emphatically stated both dogs did "fantastic," choosing to deliberately hide the injuries. They didn't mention a word of it during the face-to-face pickup, either. Dog 2: Late night emergency follow-up visit We only discovered the injured ears after getting home. When we called, they downplayed the cuts as "no big deal" and admitted they had used skin glue to fix one cut. They didn't even provide an e-collar. A few hours later, my dog was bleeding profusely--blood was literally pooling on the floor. We had to rush him to an emergency vet where we discovered the cuts were so deep they required actual sutures. Because of this clinic's "minor" mistake, my small dog had to be put under anesthesia twice in less than 12 hours. And we had to foot a $1500 emergency bill, after an incident that traumatized our family.

Instead of focusing on the likely timeline of my dog's issue (such as how a UTI or infection might progress if that's what he has), the visit shifted into a male dog anatomy lesson on Google. I already had some background knowledge--which he didn't check for--but what I needed was guidance on possible health scenarios and what to watch for progressively. When I tried to ask more detailed questions, it felt difficult to keep the conversation on track. During the exam, he had on jeans, socks with Birkenstock-style sandals, with a scrub top. While attire isn't the most important element in delivering top quality care, in a hospital setting open-toed or sandal-style footwear usually violates safety / biosecurity requirements as it increases the risk of animal scratches, exposure to fluids or slipping. If that wasn't enough to feel a bit uncomfortable with this doctor, he also took it upon himself to bring up an old employee discount my partner once had and referred to him as my "boyfriend" without knowing our relationship. I had already clarified at the start of our visit that the discount no longer applied, so his comment felt unnecessary and personal, and I perceived it as biased. Overall, I left with concerns about how communication was handled. I later saw that some reviewers also had negative experiences with Dr. Gonsier's bedside manner, which made me feel my visit wasn't unique. My goal in sharing this is not to call anyone out, but to underline that professionalism and clear communication really matter in a space that is saturated with sub-par experiences. When those pieces are missing, trust and comfort in the care being provided can slip. I am fortunate that money is not an issue in being able to care for my pets, but doing business with a hospital that has someone like Dr. Gonsier on the team doesn't leave me feeling great about a long term relationship.

When I arrived at Brentwood they were on time. The vet had asked me what was my purpose for this visit. I told her that I was looking for a new vet and I want to know what my cat's follow up blood test for his thyroid was because I hadn't heard from Fairview. She did a physical exam and went over the test that was sitting on fairview's desk for 10 days. She showed me the test results and went over everything. Our kitty was suffering from her recurring seasonal cough, but instead of starting treatment, we were told multiple tests were required first. We ended up spending hundreds of dollars on tests that, in hindsight, did not appear necessary. Concerned about the approach, we sought a second opinion from another veterinarian. They performed only the essential tests, prescribed medication, and our kitty recovered within just a few days. I later contacted the clinic to request a partial refund for what I believed were unnecessary tests, but my request was declined. Every pet owner should make their own decision, but based on our experience, we felt the focus was more on generating revenue than providing compassionate, cost-effective care. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
