proud to be the student of this school...

every single day reading books, listening to the teachers, trying to finish our homework, study day and night for upcoming test, its hard but learning is awesome.... thanks to all wonderful professors and DON.

    Happy Birthday Dr Sasha

Go go go Angeles College, let us finish this program and pass the NCLEX. Tha is all matters.

    VN license

I attended the VN program full time and completed it but unfortunately was unable to graduate and receive a certificate because I failed to complete a couple final requirements and my time frame to do so was up. I was not discouraged because I was made aware that there was still another option to receive a license. Today thanks to option 2, I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse!! I also did not pass the NCLEX-PN on my first try but redeemed myself on my second attempt. This school offers constant support and resources. My instructors were all very different, personality wise but one thing they all had in common was that they wanted all of us to succeed and be smart, confident nurses. They provided us with contact information and allowed us to reach them with any questions or concerns. I always felt comfortable enough to ask for help and felt like we were all treated fairly. I'm very grateful that everyone believed in me, that gave me the motivation I felt I lacked to achieve my goals. I would recommend this VN program to anyone looking to better themselves and obtain a rewarding career.

To Angelles College: This comes from my heart.Thank you so much for all the encouragement and support faculty and staff have given me. At time, I had a difficult time to keep up but I did and graeuated. Now, I just passed NCLEX and got lisenced!!!!!! I wouldn't of passed my NCLEX without your support. Honestly, I always gave up to be a nurse because of struggles. I was thinking that I couldn't pass the exam during this VN program and because of lack of confident in me. But I did it!!!! My teachers and all staff here didn't give up on me. They always gave me the necessary tools to learn and retain what I learned plus encouragement on a daily. I can't thank you enough and appreciate every moment I was at school. Thank you from the depths of my heart.. Azusa Chubachi

I graduated in 2022 December. During the program we had a opportunity to work in different nursing home's and Kaiser Permanent. Plus our teachers were so helpful, and friendly. After you graduate you can put those experience on your resume and it will boost you up a lot for your work experience. Plus, Ms. Myra, the manager will help to fill out the NCLEX testing process and your nursing license. They will teach and take you to your every step. It was so helpful and thank you so much for Angeles College.

Dr. Ina played a huge role in my success throughout Terms 3 and 4. She challenged us to do our best, encouraged us to stay disciplined, and provided countless resources to help us succeed. Her passion for teaching is truly inspiring--you can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that enthusiasm motivates her students every day. A special thank you as well to Miss Karla for being such a supportive, approachable, and genuinely fun instructor. She created a positive learning environment that made even the most challenging days more manageable. One area where I believe ACC could improve is the clinical rotation assignment process. Students are not given the opportunity to choose their clinical sites, and commute times are often not taken into consideration. For example, some students who live in Pasadena were assigned to Santa Monica, while students who live near Santa Monica are assigned to Pasadena. Even got threatened to be sent to San Gabriel the next time I complained. While I understand that clinical placements depend on site availability and program requirements, a more thoughtful approach that considers students' commuting distances and personal circumstances would help reduce stress and improve the overall learning experience. Overall, I am grateful for the education, support, and experiences I gained throughout the program. Thank you to all the instructors who invested their time, knowledge, and energy into helping us become future nurses.

I am disgusted by their lies and awful things I have heard over the course of my studies. From dismissing hearing and mental conditions as an excuse to the administration staff telling teachers that they have to reach a certain pass rate by either failing students that deserve to go on or passing students that should have failed. I have witnessed clinical instructors teaching students while poking the patient with the same needle more than once which is a huge health violation. They prefer students not with healthcare backgrounds so they don't get called out for their lack of proper education. They promise resources and help to students that need assistance but to the students that reach out, are scolded instead for even working once or twice a week and dismiss their requests for assistance. Their remediation for failing a test is talking to students that are a class ahead of you to tutor you for an hour without bringing up the test or similar questions so all that's left for them to say is to read the book with outdated information that contradicts what we learn online or in person. They leave it up to the students to decide which source to trust which leads to constant mistakes that are never learned. I admit my flaws as a student. I have lived with hearing aids and when they were broken I got no assistance from the school. I will admit I scored 73% and 74% in med surg and pharm (passing grade is 75%). I take accountability for my own actions but my mistake was assuming the school would be responsible enough to do the same. After all their smiles and fronts they put up. Once you are admitted and you're financially tied to them, they don't care about you anymore so unless you have 100k to spare for nursing and no responsibilities as an adult to teach yourself. Avoid this school at all costs.

But before we took the exam, me and those two other students were talking about how we weren't confident about taking the exam because of the instructor and her horrible confusing teaching. The instructor, which I'm guessing is the business owner, was 10 minutes late to the class and then she started the class an hour late and only checking in like six students. There were barely any students there. So an hour of teaching time was wasted because she was lollygagging. As the instructor sat down to start teaching the class, she kept stopping to text message somebody and I don't know if it was her boyfriend, but she had a huge smile on her face, Every time she was texting somebody. She did not answer questions that I had for her. She kept saying that those questions weren't necessary to answer because they weren't on the test. I paid almost $400 to take that class. I would much appreciate if you answer the questions that I have, regardless, if it's on the test or not. And then, when I finally passed the exam after having to take it a second time and after having to purchase an online Notary course by EZ Notary. I spoke to the owner on the phone and asked how can I get the rest of my supplies which is a journal, my bond and my seal. She said I would have to pay for the shipping since I don't live around there and I'm not willing to go get it in person to pick up the supplies. Her team or her emailed me the invoice for the shipment, it was $31, just to ship my bond and then I would have to pay for a second shipment for the rest of my supplies. Talk about ripping students off. Another thing is you have to pay for parking. when I called before I placed the order I asked her assistant or her front desk person do I have to pay for parking, he said no that we can get it validated for you. But nobody wanted to validate the ticket unless you bought something in that building. The parking was $20. Do not pay to take the in person class and do not pay for any other Notary course from her. She is a horrible instructor. I would not waste your time or your money. There is a much better chance passing the exam through someone else online course. Good luck!
