This place USED to be good when the manager Tim King and employee Joshua Coverdell worked there. They cared. They would call when furniture came in & they picked up my donations for free. Now? They accept donations....but they put broken or missing parts appliances on shelves and charge Retail Prices for partial couches and partial furniture. Clothes are not stocked to size. Worse? Mike who works there daily is rude & unacknowledged. I blame this new female manager who acts like she is on drugs most of the time. Don't believe me? Ask for Shelley You'll see. Do not shop here. Terrible place!!! Angelic is a totally inappropriate name for the store. There is nothing nice about the people who run the store. Prices are too high and most everything is dirty! I purchased furniture and had it delivered and the driver let it drop off truck and break and management doesn't care. The workers act as if they hate their job. I bought a bit here over the years. My spouse passed and so I donated 16 bags of clothes and was even help through the front door by some of the guys. Today I brought a brought a cart and I was told I had to take it out back. Told him my wife was gone and if they didn't want it they could do whatever they wanted. I'll not donate here anymore. I have lung disease and it was a chore to even get it to the front door. read more

Had a $60 (REBOXED) infant stroller/carrier combo for the same price as a clearly heavily used stained toddler bassinet with wheels. They must have not been bought out by Christians. Remove "angelic" from the business title if you are going to cheat people. Perhaps "Ursury Resale And Demonic Associates" would be more apt. Doesn't work with Salvation Army or the food pantry anymore, but still takes poor people's money and hoards it. Sells broken electronics, bought a classic DVD player that booted up in store but died less than a week after purchasing. The checkout isn't American Apple Pay, its Chinese Alipay. Be careful they aren't keeping your card info. read more

This thrift store was once my go to for really nice things and jewelry. After Covid the inventory is not a good as it used to be. When they changed owners a few prices increased for items I also noticed less Sterling Silver jewelry items. It's still an ok place, but I don't visit as frequently as I used to. read more

As with any thrift store, it is a mix of items, and depends on how often you visit, if you will find the treasure you are looking for. The staff are friendly. However, recently they went to a general pricing scheme, (all shirts are same price etc). And the set prices are generally higher than you would find at Wal mart. read more

This is my go to place. I have found some of the most nicest antique furniture and jewelry at this store. Prior to the lock down, I stopped by one day and I actually found an authentic Tiffany bracelet, what a great find! I purchased a cedar chest for next to nothing, as well as a damaged coffee table. I've been in here a few times .. The first was last Year while hunting for Halloween Party Props, and boy was I pleasantly surprised..... You will encounter friendly and helpful staff, the store is clean, thoughtfully organized and has a ton of random stuff. This last trek I found some cool nostalgic glass cocktail plates that will pair nicely with the tiny disposable wine glasses I picked up at restaurant supply store.... This place is my guiltiest pleasure. I'd go here every week if I could just to rummage through everything. It's my biggest thrill to find something antique looking and at a bargain price. Interesting place. Very Mish mosh. It seems like mostly leftovers from Garage Sales. They had a good selection of furniture. Actually some pretty old stuff. You could probably dig and find some cool things. They have a lot of books but mostly Christian or pregnancy related so I wish they would diversify. I'd stop by again. read more

Love this place! It's very organized and easy to navigate. I like how items are a certain price regardless of brand. For example, let's say jeans are $5. Even if you find a pair that's brand new with tags, they're still $5. You're supporting a great cause by shopping here as they support people in our community. read more

Best resale shop in area. Very clean and organized . Love that it is also a place for people to get help. They serve the community and have life classes for young ladies.. Today, my husband & I inaugurated our "Tour de Thrift" in Conroe. We drove north on I-45, armed with the names & addresses of 8-10 resale shops. HOWEVER, we did NOT have Angelic Resale on our list! Don't know why it didn't pop up on Google, but sometimes you just have to trust serendipity! As we drove from place to place in Conroe, we crossed over Davis a number of times. On our last pass, we saw "Angelic Resale's" sign. We were a little scared b/c of the name, but mainly intrigued. When we walked through the front door, we were TOTALLY glad we stopped in! This resale/thrift store is well-stocked, well-maintained and well-staffed. It is brightly lit and clean, but still maintains the feel of a really good thrift store. It is PACKED w/ treasure at a good price point. They have furniture, antiques, clothes, kitchen wares, Christmas tree stands, and all kinds of other stuff ... loads of it!! So, if you live in Conroe, Magnolia, The Woodlands or anywhere nearby, and you enjoying thrifting, you gotta go to Angelic Resale on West Davis! Check it out! read more

Very strange. Come to inquire about making a donation. Two ladies behind counter, one sorting items and the other with customer. Neither notice me at counter. Waited until the lady with customer finished but she went directly to help the other lady. Neither noticed me at all. So I walk away. Still nothing. I leave and will not be returning. If donors are treated this way, I seriously question any good they do. read more
