After being released from the hospital, all I wanted was Angello's fettuccine alfredo. As always, it was perfection - I swear their alfredo sauce is the best I've ever had. The salad was perfect as well, and do I even need to mention the bread? Soooooo delicious! Ordered two pizzas and a salad for some out of town guests and their kids at 545pm on their website. Chose delivery so we could enjoy their company. Initial wait time was 60 minutes which seemed long but ok. Delivery time kept getting pushed back and back. Didn't get our food until 8pm! Almost 2.5 hours! Called angellos and they said it was ready for pick up at 630. So they just let it sit there for over an hour without calling the delivery service or me?!?! I realize they use a delivery service but I ordered from their website so they should be monitoring. Ridiculous! They didn't offer to reimburse either. Won't be back. read more

Used to be my favorite, but it's not nearly as good as it used to be. The sauce tastes different. The toppings used to be the star. Now they're skimpy and flavorless. Big mushroom slices have been replaced with a sprinkling of little pieces. Pepperoni used to burst with flavor. Tonight I wondered if it even had an because I couldn't taste it. HALF ORDERS ONLY! I would not recommend ordering from this establishment if you value receiving your complete order. My recent experience could have been much better. My delivery arrived incomplete because the restaurant knowingly sent out only part of the order, instructing the delivery driver to proceed despite the rest of the order needing to be ready. I received no communication or warning about this issue. When I followed up, I was told they were busy (not wanting to pay the delivery fee) and offered only a refund of the item. Still, there needed to be an acknowledgment of the inconvenience initially caused by their lack of consideration. Instead, I received irritability on the other end from the Angello's 2 Go employee. Sending out half an order knowingly, they will only give back a refund for the items missing intentionally, is unacceptable customer service. Besides the worst customer service we have experienced in a long time, the food was so-so; if you want Italian food, there are better options within North Canton. read more

I just moved to Stark county and have been excited to try some authentic Italian. My son loves pizza so for his birthday we decided to get Angelo's to go; I have heard good things and the reviews look good. Nope! We got a large veg-out and a large sausage banana pepper. I knew it was an issue when I had to dig through and find the sausage. There were hardly any toppings on either, except for an overabundance of green peppers. At almost 3 bucks per topping, you'd think you could find something, but it was sparce. It was also flavorless. Extremely flavorless. Not even salt. I ordered online for a later time pick up, it was 15 minutes late. Thats fine, things happen. I want to say the staff that helped me were nice and place looked clean so that's why 2 stars. We have decided to do a weekly pizza dinner and order from a new local place every week. Recently, our pick was Angello's 2 go. The food from here was really good, and the marinara used was yummy. We chose to try a large cheese pizza, BBQ wings and the lasagna dinner. The portions (especially on the lasagna) were huge, I was easily able to split into two meals. The dough in the pizza is more of a medium thickness. The wings were a good size and there was lots of sauce which my son absolutely loved. The lasagna dinner came with a salad. Lettuce looked and tasted fresh and I chose the creamy Italian dressing which was very good. This restaurant I don't think offers their own delivery, however, I was able to order delivery through a third party company. We will definitely order from here again. read more

First, the slices are huge. They're cooked to order do expect to wait 5 minutes or so. I called in an order and was completely surprised when my 2 slices were presented in a box normally suitable for a small pizza. The pizza is very saucy, not too saucy, but noticeably more than most pizza. The sauce goes well with their crust, which is just crisp enough to give a slight crunch. I've been reluctant to add my review here because I just wasn't impressed. I visited here because the name kept popping up when looking for a place to eat and the reviews were so good. I stopped in to place my order, the person at the counter was friendly and helpful. There are chairs and some high top tables and stools to wait for your order (or ear at), but I had barely read the headlines of a current newspaper before my order was ready! They asked if I needed plates or tableware before carrying my order to my car for me! (Unusual, but appreciated!). I ordered a lasagna meal, a side order of two meatballs and a chicken Alfredo meal for my hubby and me. ($27). The meals included a salad and a slice of Angello's bread. The portions were generous, the salad was fresh and I loved the homemade creamy Italian dressing (my hubby didn't, he got his own from the fridge). I had a decent amount of chicken in my dish but it seemed boiled instead of grilled, as I would have preferred. The Alfredo sauce didn't seem creamy and when I reheated my leftovers, it separated badly. All my hubby said was, "I like your lasagna a lot better!" He also didn't finish the sauce on his lasagna, which is unusual because he can never have too much sauce. Sorry to say, but I won't be hurrying back. I am a hard core foodie that works in NY. I always come home craving legit pizza with real ingredients and the perfect balance of that sweet but savory, chewy, crispy crust. THIS. IS. IT.
