We really enjoy the subs here, but they are NOT cheap. Despite this, we have continued to eat here. A few months back it was very frustrating that this location had the weirdest hours. We assumed they were short staffed and still tried to eat here when possible. Today, we brought our family. Our one child gets a boxed kids meal. We have ALWAYS purchased this meal. The juice box that comes with the meal is not enough for any child above toddler age, so they have always allowed us to sub a soft drink or sweet tea. Today we were told it wasn't allowed by the person "filling in" for the manager who was on a break. When I asked when this "new rule" came to be, he literally stared at me and then walked away. He didn't even respond--like sorry we don't allow that, or it's something new that just started with our new sub rewards or just a new policy?? He looked at me and walked away. Seriously???! This was my first dibellas experience, certainly not the last. Not only did my experience live up to everything I've heard about the quality of food and customer service, but it was far exceeded. The bread is divine, the baker herself was one of the most friendly and accommodating staff in customer service that I've met. I can say the same for the entire staff. Dear Yelpers, My fiancée swore up and down there were the best subs ever. I took personal offense to that so I gave it a try... sure enough, I was right. The order process is nice because you get to customize your sandwich but it can be somewhat confusing for newcomers. Overall the sandwich was ok (made a club sandwich with ham, Turkey, and bacon) but the bread was a little tough. I ate half my sandwich and ended up tossing the second half. Employees did not seem like they knew what they were doing. Ordered the buffalo chicken salad and added cucumber. She was going to make the salad with just cucumber. I told her to make it as advertised but add cucumber. Got it to go. When I got home I found it had no blue cheese or buffalo sauce. It was just a dry salad. The Belden Village restaurant was very clean and spacious!! The only thing we didn't like was the cookies. Kind of hard. We had the Philly cheesesteak and chicken philly. We love to stop at DiBellas every time we come to town. The multigrain bread is my absolute favorite sub bread. We have tried multiple different subs from here and have loved all of them. My wife and I stopped in for lunch while we were out and about. This was our first time at this location. My wife ordered a medium tuna and I got a medium Dagwood. Don't get me wrong the sandwiches were delicious. But if I have to knit pick the Dagwood was a little lean on meat and it wasn't evenly distributed. The service was impeccable. Especially from Roe, she was the cashier . I would give here a raise if I could. Her people skills are top notch. My wife's sandwich was to large for her. So, she asked for bag with some ice, since it was hot out and we were going to do some running around, Roe did not hesitate to fulfill my wife's request. I usually go to a DiBellas in Columbus & I LOVE the freshness and taste of their sesame bread. I stopped in the Belden Village location around 11:40 am on a Saturday and was disappointed in the dryness of the bread. There were also only 3 people working for a weekend lunch shift & the wait was long. There was barely any mayo on my sub & it just didn't taste like the DiBella's sub I was craving when I pulled in. I'm not sure if it was an off day or if this just isn't a great DiBella's. Usually DiBella's are one of the best sub chains you can go to, in my opinion. Their sandwiches are much heartier than Subway and Jimmy John's; they give you MUCH more meat for the same price. Jimmy John's has good bread, too, but DiBella's has a few different breads and cheeses, slightly better quality ingredients, and MUCH more variety. More variety than Jersey Mike's, too. read more
