Great if you like bland sauce and flavorless cheese on a chewy cardboard crust. I can't think of anything good to say.

This was not a case of us being difficult. In fact, I dine here frequently despite the restaurant's reputation for inconsistent customer service because I genuinely want to support this local, family-owned business. I've gotten to know several members of the staff over time, and they have always been kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, our server, Brooklyn, was the complete opposite. She was unfriendly, dismissive, and showed no interest in resolving our concerns. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn't one on staff. She openly stated that she didn't care if we contacted the manager, didn't care how we felt, and defended charging me for items I never ordered by insisting I had asked for them. Rather than listening or trying to make things right, she became argumentative. Customer service can make or break a dining experience, and tonight's experience left a very bad impression. It's disappointing because Carlos has great potential, but allowing this level of service without accountability only reinforces the negative reputation the restaurant already has. I truly want to continue supporting this local business, but after tonight, I'm not sure I'll be back. Carlos, you can do better. Your customers deserve to be treated with respect, and your brand deserves employees who reflect the hospitality you're trying to provide.

So glad we found this SUPER cool and welcoming family restaurant! Located on the first floor of a converted Log Cabin, the dining room is surprisingly bright and spacious. We were greeted by a sweet smiling young woman who sat us in a cozy both with the sounds of Italian music playing softly overhead. Christine, one of the owners took excellent care of us for our lunch. BELIEVE it when I say service was impeccable! She was so attentive, made suggestions and brought my spouse a sample of wine he was unsure of trying. That was such a nice gesture! THE FOOD was incredibly good! I had the Eggplant Parmesan which is my go to for Italian dishes- oh my- perfectly done! Just enough crispness to the outer eggplant. Sauce was DELICIOUS! My spouse had angel hair pasta with a huge meatball on top. He was a very happy man as his measure of a good Italian meal are the Meatballs! We shared a freshly made Antipasto salad to start our meal and had more than enough for two. Can't forget to mention the warm bread with balsamic and oil dipping sauce that came with our meal. Spouse had some of their freshly homemade key lime Gelato for desert and I sampled a few flavors thanks to Christine's generosity! So yum! Very Reasonable prices for such an amazing meal with fantastic food and fantastic service! We will definitely be making return visits!

Okay, I love mama guzzardi's. I grew up coming here when I was a little girl with my family. My…read moresiblings and I are now adults, and we wanted to surprise our mom for mother's day. She loves their food and even told sweet stories about mama guzzardi giving out flowers to mothers on mother's day when she was still with us. We used to eat here at least once a week growing up. I've only been a handful of times since their remodel and the ambiance is definitely different. It's not so much a cute little Italian spot as it feels like a collab with a sports bar. We do miss the walls of old pictures, but also understand growth and wanting to change with the times. We went for mother's day, and it was absolutely beautiful outside. One of their more recent renovations was their front patio, so we decided to indulge. We had a reservation for 1pm, and didn't tell our mom where we were going. We got to the restaurant at 1, and my mom was delighted. We weren't sat until 1:10, but also understand it was mother's day, they were busy. We sat outside and didn't see a server until about 1:25. Again, they were busy we understood. When the server came out, we knew what we wanted because we had plenty of time to look at the menu. We ordered food and drinks. We then didn't see our server with drinks until 1:45. We were very hungry at this point and asked if we could have our bread (we love their bread- it's a staple)! Our server ensured us it was just coming out of the oven and he'd bring it right out. We then didn't see our food until about 2:05 (and no bread was brought in the meantime). Our server wasn't even the one to bring our food out, it was a young girl. She gave us our plates and said "wow, you guys don't have anything out here". We expressed that we'd been here for over an hour, our drinks were empty, we didn't have cheese or crushed red pepper, we never got bread. She apologized and got us all refills and bread. We then see our server come out at around 2:15 and ask if we needed anything. Our food was gone at this point because we were starving and they didn't even bring out the extra sauce until we asked. We literally ate dry pasta because we had waited so long. While he was there, we asked for the check as to not prolong the whole experience even longer. I went in to use the restroom and the once full restaurant was empty, because so many people had come and gone in the time it took us to just get our food. All in all, it was just sad because we love mama guzzardi's. My sister and mom went back the following week and had amazing service from a different young man. He was attentive and they were in and out. It's disappointing that mother's day was the day they decided to drop the ball as we were trying to have a special day with our mom. The food is amazing and we want to support the small business, but we highly advise to never sit on the patio.
