Angelo has been my trainer since January 2018, and this review is long overdue. Personally, I have been a big skeptic about personal trainers for the longest time, for a few different reasons: 1) They are expensive 2) Do not always customize the program based on where you are mentally at in the process 3) Boring routine workout Angelo is none of those things. Since my initial orientation with him, he heard my needs; why I needed a personal trainer and what my goals were. I have accountability issues when it comes to exercise and diet, hence I realized I needed a trainer that just doesn't let me off the hook easily and doesn't make me do routine workouts ( threadmills etc). I have yet to repeat any of my workouts with Angleo. They never are boring. I am not going to lie, he makes you workout hardcore, but somehow Angleo manages to keep my mind busy and 60 Minutes fly by. He also gives his clients his undivided attention - he catches me when I try to cheat on my workout. I work out at a gym called "Muscle Mechanics", in Beverlywood and I love his place. It doesn't even feel like a gym. If you are looking for a personal trainer that actual cares about health/wellness/fitness and his clients. Look no further. I am very lucky to have found him. A hidden gem for sure and I will hope to continue my personal training adventure with him. I lost close to 20lbs so far and am getting closer to abs . read more

I've worked out with so many different trainers, and Angelo is definitely the best one I've ever had. Most of the other trainers are pretty good, but I feel like Angelo really goes above and beyond just training you. He really customizes the work out for me, taking into account not only how I want to look, but the activities I want to condition for, like rock climbing. Each workout is different and varied, he always pushes me just enough to challenge me, but he still keeps it within my abilities. I really like the customized meal plan he creates for me, makes it so much easier to watch what I'm eating. Lastly I feel like he truly cares about helping me, he's not just some corporate shill trying to get my money. He's really charming and fun to work with, but most of all, he really motivates me and gets results. I've been training with Angelo for a few months now, and I can't even compare the results I'm having with him with the ones I was not having going to the gym by myself and other personal trainers for the past 3 years. The first time we met he asked me what I was used to eat and what I like. According to that he wrote down a diet for me that didn't feel like one of those diet where you starve. He's always trying to push you and always careful to your type of body. He's always ready to change exercises if you have any problems with previous injuries in a way that you don't hurt yourself, but still able to train those muscles. I was planning to training with him for only three months but I can't really stop now that I'm finally getting so close to have the type of body I always wanted to have. BEST TRAINER EVER!! I was hesitant on finding a personal trainer because of the full commitment one has to do, but Angelo made the process so easy. I went to see him with the intention of trying to figure out a workout routine that will fit best towards the goals I wanted to accomplish for my body. 8 weeks later and I still see him 3 times a week. At first it's challenging, any change is, but he'll start you off with an ideal workout and meal plan that will personally fit with the goals you're trying to reach. I consider myself decently fit, relatively in shape. I thought I knew my way around a gym, that's why I used to work out alone. However, I realized one day that I was just maintaining, and not really able to push myself into getting the best body that I wanted. There are so many great things I can say about my trainer Angelo. He is so phenomenal at what he does, he's become more of a lifestyle coach for me! Angelo has taught me to stay motivated and hungry to see more results and reach my goal. Great personal trainer who will come up with a plan specifically fitted to you. I came to him after coming from Italy and was not in great shape. I went to him a couple times, he took very precise measurements of my body to calculate my fat and see what I needed to work on. He asked me what I wanted to improve upon and then he came up with a specific plan and diet that would help me achieve my goal. He is a great motivator and helped me push through to how I wanted to be. He did a great job transforming my body. Was very sore all throughout the week but it was very much worth it. I've worked with other personal trainers before, but always through a gym like 24 Hour Fitness. I wasn't really that happy with the results though, nor their level of engagement. I decided to spend a little more on a private personal trainer, and after interviewing several, I am really happy I went with Angelo. I only had 6 sessions with Angelo so far, and I am already so impressed with his approach. I always prefered Female Trainers, since I thought it would be easier for a woman understand my body, but apparently I was wrong, in such short time he made me change my mind.
