Good music store with a large selection and some other hippie type goods. Does trade ins for old CDs also. I recommend for sure.

Came to look for cassettes and we found them. They also have vinyls and players for both. An interesting store with an eclectic mix of items. Music and movies and gift items. Figurines and magnets and backpacks. And smoking paraphernalia. The associates were friendly and helpful. We didn't find all that we wanted but we got a good deal on some blank cassettes. We had a lot of old school cd's time to downsize we took our cd's to Angelos Marcel was great he took our boxes out of our car and took them in the store he told us they would go through the boxes and let us know what they wanted we got a phone call a couple of hours later and we made a deal we asked them to donate what they didn't need I would very highly recommend them read more

I've never been to this store before and I was making my way around looking at everything. As I was looping back to the front and about to leave I was confronted by some douchebag claiming that I was stealing and "snaking out all the cameras". I then proceeded to empty my pockets and after seeing that I clearly did not steal, this asshole still kicked me out because his ego was bruised. Never going back here. read more

Meh. I went in here really looking for deals on vinyl. I ended up buying a very beat up record that was priced at 15 bucks. Two bucks more I could've just simply bought it new on Amazon. I did support a local business, but I probably wouldn't buy From this place again. Don't see the point in buying used anything that's priced a couple bucks lower than new. read more

This store is my safe space, every time I'm here I feel like I'm at home and I usually hang out for about 35-45 minutes to just chill and go through vinyl (and they always just let me do me, which I appreciate). I have tons of vinyl from these guys and I always find dope records (Doomsday by MF Doom, Hard To Earn by Gangstarr, And many more). Places like this deserve more love and appreciation, it also felt good to see other young people in there appreciating music. 10/10 and 5 Stars from me! read more

Nice neighborhood CD/DVD shop. They have vinyl, new and used CDs as well as DVDs. The staff was overly friendly and helpful. Like many stores of it's type, you have to take a minute to grasp the organizational system, but once you do, there are many great finds to be had here. With the internet nearly putting these types of stores out of business, it was refreshing to be able to browse actual stuff, not images online. I have lived a mile from your business location for more than 20 years. A staple for the family. Gift cards for friend's and family in the past... my wife brought hot cocoa for a staff member before. We will not return to place I was so humiliated at. Understand that your response has underplayed what I wanted you to get out of it and the reason for me review.. Your establishment insulted me in a way I could not respond to publicly at the time because it would have been unbecoming of a gentleman. Your store was not warm and welcoming that night. The guest he insulted me in front of recognized the moment and it is another reason in this instance I don't want to return. Your rep thought all this was ok. He was smiling about it at one point. That and the other guest noticing this did leave a very bad taste in my mouth that I don't want to invite again. Ultimately humiliating in public. I write this, losing sleep In the am hours over how belittling the experience and your own response on my review were. These thirsty people at the Aurora location. Called for a Billie Eilish signed cd. They had one left, just talked to them from practically out in my car. I went inside, the guy was stumbling over his words. Then says that they just sold it. Facts: one of the girls behind the counter googled an autographed one on eBay then proceeded to take it out of the sale stock. My daughter can confirm as well because she called beforehand and the guy told her that they couldn't really hold it but to come quickly and they'll have it in hand. The whole thing was suspect from the first call. Stop letting employees buy the merchandise before regular consumers. Then to lie and say that you just sold it when I take dot you two minutes before entering the store. read more

I used to shop at this store frequently in my high school days, and I recently returned for the first time in a couple years. Pretty impressive, they have definitely put some work into improving that store. I love the new hand-blown glass section. Great selection of vinyl too! DVD section is lacking, it's just a small section in the back of the store. Just a heads-up: Every single time I have walked in this store it reeks from a combination of marijuana smoke and incense they use to try to cover it up. It doesn't bother me at all, but if you are closed-minded just be forewarned. read more

My safe space is Angelo's! Both the Broadway and Aurora locations are absolutely fun to visit. I first came to the Aurora location the day before Thanksgiving 2020, I had gone to the Broadway location a few times and decided to seek out Aurora since it was closer to my house. Due to Covid the store location had moved from the bigger lot on the end of their building to the smaller storefront right next door. My biggest issue's with this store is for my friends who are in wheelchairs, I wanted to say that the Aurora location isn't super handy capable and has some tight spots. BUT on the other hand the staff is always super sweet and helpful whenever I go in or call. Reading some reviews from a few years ago is very drastically different to now. I have spent $100's through Angelo's, and of course the vinyl market is crazy rn so the prices have risen just a tiny bit but for the amount of effort that is put into making this store special and staying alive is amazing. I shopped both Record Store Day's in 2021 and I was blown away, they had bought coffee and donuts and had a bunch of free merchandise of course everyone is wanting something limited so you had the associates confirming how many of what they had received and everything! The condition and packaging of the vinyl or box sets I have seen complaints about and unfortunately every record store I have gone to in the state of Colorado usually has some scuffs do to the shipping manufacturer. At the end of the day we all have our favorite record stores and I would hands down recommend this store to anyone! read more

I called this morning, Sunday December 22nd 2019 to see if they bought used dvd's and blueray movie discs. They told me yes and it takes about 24 to 48 hours after you drop them off for them to get back to you. That sounded to great to me so then I asked "and I can drop them off today?" They said "yes, of course." 30 minutes later I walked in the store with a box full of movies, slightly over 100 in all. Before I could even get through the front door a man called out to me "No no, we aren't doing buys today. Gotta come back next year." I said I had just called 30 minutes ago to confirm that they were doing buys so I wouldn't waste my time driving in. "Nope. Next year." I give 2 stars instead of one because the man who turned me away was polite and professional, however, this was indeed a very disappointing experience. Time is short before Christmas, lots of things to do, I hated wasting that hour. The person on the phone should have told me not to come in. read more

They pretty much have everything. Colored eye contacts, hemp necklaces, patchwork bags, DVDS, CD, hookahs and everything else!! Great prices! For vintage and current music...I give this place 5 stars, but not sure why they have musical instrumentals, sports gear, t-shirts...a lot of different stuff under one roof. I was contacted by the Manager and we had a nice long talk and I genuinely think they do care about customer service. So, I came in and was given compensation for my knife in the form of another knife with a sincere handshake and vow to do better next time. Honestly, in this day and age does it get any better than this? I will always be a patron of this store and they have very strongly fixed the problem we had. If you haven't checked this store out, do yourself a favor, they have the coolest smoking accessories and knives in the state. They also have tons of rock and roll/ music related items from clothing to cds to pictures......too many to list. A great stop on South Broadway on your way to the local rec dispens. :). read more

Man i used to go into this store all the time when i was younger. Honestly i hadn't been in in years but wanted band stickers. In the old days they had books you could look thru and now the stickers are all hanging up out of reach and you can't see the prices. Also i think some of them might be the same ones i saw 10 years ago. After asking for help, this chick completely blew me off and said the guy who makes stickers wasn't in so she couldn't help me, i said i wanted the stickers that were already made and she was like oh ok and walked away. This other guy "kind of" helped but seemed annoyed. Due to the fact that these people took no pride in their customer service, I put all the stickers back and won't be going back again. Wow, these people stole the one DVD that I cared about and that was actually worth something. Well, it was 3 DVDs. A blue day resident evil trilogy box set. I brought a shoe box worth of DVDs, that was all of the DVDs I own. I went back to get them because they only offered me $14. The box was noticeably less full than when I brought it in. So I looked through it and the resident evil trilogy box set was completely gone. I asked for it back and they argued with me saying I had never brought it. Assholes work there and they will steal from you. If you do sell here, which you should NOT, then take a picture of everything and make an itemized list and have them sign it. Because they will steal what is most valuable from you and lie about it to your face. read more

An Aurora stalwart, Angelo's has been a place I'd drop by from time to time. I prefer to buy records at locally owned places. I'm a big vinyl fan and recently went to Angelo's for the first time in awhile. To my surprise and happiness they've put together a great vinyl section. Good mix of old and new. Went here to get a CD but had to leave because I had my 7 year old with me. It's nice when you go somewhere and there playing music that is F**k and ni**er every other. This place should have an explicit sign on the door. I guess I thought CD's and more meant I could go in a get a 311 CD with my little girl and not hear such vulgar music. They had them all week and this Saturday afternoon they still hadn't looked at them. No one seemed to know what was going on nor did they seem to care. I've been meaning to post this for a week now! Went into the Aurora store and experienced great customer service. I always find what I'm looking for when I pop in to Angelos, but last week was one for the record books. As a fitness instructor that uses music in my class, I sometimes come across an obscure version of a song that I really want to use. That was the case last week. After looking around and engaging someone (I didn't notice his name....) to help me, I described what I was looking for. The nice guy that was helping me told me to hang on. He went to his computer and in about 5 minutes, I had a CD of exactly what I was looking for! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They STOLE blue ray disk sets from me, told me they would give me 14$ for some movies. When we confronted them they blatantly lied to us and told us we must have left them somewhere else. Rude neglectful staff. Ran by thieves.
