I was in Littleton for Western Week and this spot had been on my list. Compared to many record stores, this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing ones you'll set foot in. Exposed brick throughout the whole shop, spacious, and good vibes all around. Punk, country, metal, hip hop, alternative, pop, you name it...there's something for everyone here. Literally. I could've picked so many records to add to my collection. I landed on Ozzy's Bark at the Moon (RIP) and Angel Olsen's Big Time. One a classic rock staple, the other a singer-songwriter triumph. My kid was long overdue for a nap, so I got the dirty look of "wrap it up, we need to go!" Otherwise, I would've spent more time in here sifting through their amazing selection. Records On Main is doing it right. They're hosting listening parties, inviting artists to perform in store, getting involved in the community, etc. I wish I lived around the corner!

Grabbed a handful of records since I had a birthday gift card "burning a hole" in my electronic pocket. I had purchased from their original location as well as popups on Tennyson and have always been happy with the music selections. You could grab something off Amazon or Discogs but this is a great larger local mom and pop. Real music lovers of the physical format and not just employees running out the clock at Sam Goody. The store staff played a great selection of music while we were there and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the store's inventory. There were people stopping by while we were there who asked for availabilities of certain artists. We loved that there was A/C in the store and paid parking availability. Behind that shelf is a cute little used paperback book store. The selection is mainly fiction novels, not the newest titles, but larger that I'd expected from the size of the store. The man running the store was friendly and helpful, too. The price is a smidge high for the quality of some of the books. "Half the original price, minimum of $2.50" ... For some novels, that's okay, but for a crinkled, worn-out, pages-almost-falling-out copy of a 20 year old paperback? I'll pay the $1.01 from eBay and have it shipped. Also, keep in mind that they accept CASH ONLY. However, with the continued loss of actual-paper-bookstores, I'll continue to support the Book Exchange on occasion, and peruse it for that "good deal" or "rare find" that I always hope to see.

Docs is amazing and patient…read more He helped me figure out how a Fourscore for the Nintendo would work and helped me figure out what the weird bootleg NES I had was. He made sure I knew to use a different plug than what came with it. I then asked what the "Nintendo Family Computer" was behind him. He then showed me an original famicom Nintendo Family Computer and explained how it's the upgraded version of (that) He then showed me the top loader American Nintendo that came out around the same time,looked similar. He then told me those need a different plug than they come with and that Japanese plugs work in American outlets, but they are higher voltage so can damage the Famicom (either one) Then he sold me two plugs because I needed them, for the future AV famicom. I would have bought the one he had but a customer was coming back for it from the bank. I don't have the pictures I took because I couldn't get help with my (potentially) bricked phone, because the Xfinity store I went to threw me out after berating their own employee who apparently had diabetes and said "don't help this guy, he has autism" because of my Autism Awareness Captain Crunch whistle. I am glad there are helpful stores like Doc's where they respect people.
