First time here. My son and I couldn't find it on google as it kept showing the Lakewood location and we didn't want to drive that far. Then on my way somewhere else I saw it. So after my errand I decided to check it out and see whether it's a good place to buy game boy games which are what my son wanted. Turned out to be an excellent place. They had a nice selection of those games and the store clerk helped me pick out some games my son might like. After a mini shopping spree as a surprise for my son who wasn't feeling well, I decided to add cases for the games. Spent money I should have saved but to cheer my son up I'd do anything. And I liked that I was supporting a local business. Will be back.

Cool stock seen from windows but I can't seem to catch them when they are open. I think it's a crapshoot if they are open

GameForce clearly understands the collectible market when it comes to retro video games. Pricing reflects condition, rarity, and demand in a way that aligns with how secondary markets function, and I don't have an issue with that. That approach makes sense for collectible inventory. However, the handling of Pokémon products feels fundamentally inconsistent with that same logic. In my experience, factory shrink wrap is removed prior to sale. While the contents inside may still be untouched, sealed condition is a major factor in both collector value and authenticity for these types of products. From a collector standpoint, sealed packaging is not just packaging--it is part of the product's condition and long-term value. Once that seal is removed, the item is no longer in a verifiable factory-sealed state, which changes how it is viewed in the secondary market. What makes this more noticeable is the contrast: the store clearly participates in condition-based pricing and scarcity-driven value in one category, while actively altering condition in another. Even if the intention is to discourage scalping or bulk buying, the effect is still a reduction in collectible integrity from a collector's perspective.

The Archive has many new releases from Vinegar Syndrome, Severin Films, and Arrow Videos. A huge selection of used and extremely hard to find DVDs/Blu Rays and VHS. Need a laser disc player? Come here. Prices are reasonable, and you can also sell your old tapes here too (just send them a DM on Instagram first as they have high standards ) Not to mention the events that bring the film community together like the VHS swap. We love visiting and always enjoy chatting with Teresa, the manager.

Movies that are specialized here are more cult classics, grindhouse and exploitative type films but wow, oh wow... what a selection. I don't think I have seen anything like this since the 90's. The lady that worked here was super awesome and sweet and knew all about Scarecrow Video, a nonprofit movie rental store and perhaps the last surviving one in Seattle and Movie Madness which is similar in Portland, Oregon so that just upped the coolness factor considerably. Some of these DVD's that are on sale here are pretty rare and the price reflects that on some of them. Some of the Maniac Cop movies I was looking at weren't exactly standard DVD prices. But I suppose it's justified since these are DVD's of films that are really, quite hard to reach in some cases. I bought a DVD, the first Maniac Cop and took it home to marvel at but I will definitely be coming back for sure next time I visit the Denver area. You can spend a considerable amount of time going through the selection and find a whole bunch of films that you haven't heard of before and discover new ones with a story or concept you would take an interest to in adding to your DVD collection at home.
