After debating whether we should order a medium sized pizza or a large, we made a huge mistake and ordered the medium, which was still a pretty significant size. But it was so delicious we ate the entire pizza almost instantly. Angelo's oven cooked the pepperoni pizza quickly and perfectly, with those big bubbles of pizza crust that are so good that you eat the entire piece including the crunchy but easy to chew 'bones'. Feeling pretty stuffed, we both agreed it was actually better than wood fired. Will probably return tomorrow for the onion, green pepper, sausage topped large version. read more

Well I want to leave a raving review because the pizza was very good.... but when your told it's a 45min wait and it turns into 1hr and 20 minutes your attitude towards the experience changes. Best NY style pizza in the south. The house special is always a must. Having grown up in upstate New York with authentic Cicilian and Italian restaurants their food holds true! The noisy and hot atmosphere are also authentic to the northern pizzerias. We rarely eat in because we live so close. I read the reviews, many which were bad. So I kinda never gave this place a chance. One day I was in downtown Hayesville, and I craved a cheesesteak, so I stopped in. It was actually pretty darn good. I'm from the Philly area originally, so I occasionally crave a cheesesteak or Italian sub, so I stopped in last week and tried their sub. It too was pretty good. While waiting I saw a few pizzas go out, and they looked really good too....that'll be my next visit. They do tend to take a while, but I'm happy to wait a few extra minutes for good food. read more

After four visits here I have come to the conclusion that if you like pizza with toppings this is not the place for you. For 12.00 you will get the best cheese pizza you have ever eaten. For 18.00 you get a pizza with very few toppings couple of onion slivers, a few chunks of meat. That six dollars should add some extras. Not just make the customer laugh at how little they put on. If they would throw some toppings on their House pizza, that thing would be amazing! It would blow away a Mellow Mushroom pizza. They absolutely make a perfect crust. Ordered 2 large pizzas to go. They were ready in the 25 min they told me. I ordered pepp with extra cheese. I asked if I should get extra pepp and she said it had plenty. I beg to differ. The pizza did not have much flavor because not many pepperoni. If that was extra cheese would hate to see regular cheese. Pretty good Italian food! We ordered the pizza and lasagna. Just wish they wore masks. Friendly staff and they often have homemade goodies in the front. Surprisingly good for the area! Their food is very good and fresh and authentic I have to give them credit there. Best I have ever eaten. My issue is their absurd business practices. It's a pizza/Italian restaurant and they close at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday night?!! Just ridiculous and even worse is the last order for takeout is 7:00. That is extremely early to be shutting down! Next issue is no credit cards cash only. Who the hell doesn't take credit cards at a restaurant in today's world? When asked they said because it cost money. DUH!!!!! This makes no sense and not everybody has an extra $50 on them at the last moment when they decide to eat there or get to go. So have to go to an ATM first, again, blah blah blah.. I can't EVEN begin to tell you how much money they have lost from me alone because if it's 6:30 on a Friday and I decide to get something to eat there because I love their food, its either already too late or I don't happen to have cash on me! When you close at 7:30, that means it has to be around SIX O'CLOCK for you to decide if you want to drive there and go out to eat. Cuz if it's 630 or later, and you decide to go you still don't even bother, because by the time you get there and sit down it's 7:00. And if you have to stop at an ATM machine on the way you can absolutely forget it!! You just don't go. Even if everything happens to fall perfectly in line and you make it, guess what? Now you have that rush rush situation going on cuz you KNOW they are closing and you have to hurry up and eat. In other words, it's a big joke... I don't know many people who are pre-planning what they're going to eat an hour and a half later as most people who order pizza are doing so at the last minute. Closing at 7:30 means you need to be sitting down by 630. You need to stop by an ATM that means you're planning at 6 o'clock and if they don't think things out like that they are just crazy!! read more

Horrible service. Waited an hour and a half for pizza we called in that they said would be ready in 45 minutes, and then the cashier started laughing and talking rudely about us where we could hear. She was standing there laughing, while in the kitchen, pulling her hair out of a ponytail, and shaking her hair everywhere. We asked to speak to a manager, who was completely useless and the whole time the cashier was standing there laughing. Worst customer service ever.
