The food here is incredible, and they are not limited to just pizza. They also have calzones, subs, and pasta.

First time we tried Sals. Ordered a meatball sub and sausage and pepper sandwich. Bread in both sandwiches was good. Meatballs were cold in the sandwich. Sausage and peppers was good but very dry. No sauce or cheese on sandwich. It would probably have been great sandwich but just extremely dry. We will probably give them a second chance . read more

Pizza is amazing. Owners or employees that take your order have the personality of an olive pit! Oh and god forbid you ask for silverware, parmigiana cheese! They say you should not at anything to their pizza! Although I definitely like their pizza, Rude and disrespectful. I also like to add things that I like. Terrible Attitude - Avoid Unless You Like Insults With Your Pizza The pizza here is completely overshadowed by the shockingly rude behavior of the owner. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I've never experienced someone so openly condescending to paying customers. Instead of a normal, welcoming interaction, the owner was making passive-aggressive, backhanded comments, It felt like we were a massive inconvenience just for being there. If you hate customer service that much, maybe stay in the kitchen or find a different line of work. Good food means nothing if it comes with a side of blatant disrespect. I waited a while to write this.. I got MAJOR food sickness from this place in February. I got the ricotta/alfredo pizza. When I tell you I was vomiting and having diarrhea AT THE SAME TIME bc of this pizza.. I was unable to get out of bed for 48 hours unless I was running to the bathroom. If there was an option for zero stars this would get it. Rude from the get go. We asked for our food (after waiting for 25 min) and watching others get served. All we got was more incredibly rude behavior. He asked if we were from Florida. No reason for the level of rudeness we encountered. Would NOT recommend EVER going to this place. Rude service. Went there with friends for lunch. We ordered- during that time the owner/waiter was condescending and behaved as though he did not want to be bothered with us patronizing his business. After waiting for an hour to receive our chicken sandwich we decided to leave. As we started toward the door we were told that the cops we would be called if we did not pay for the food that we ordered as he was going to be bringing it out to us. I've decided the pizza is no longer worth it and will take my business elsewhere. If there is new ownership, then I'll give another chance in the future. Five stars all the way! Started with a very friendly lady who answered the phone and took our order. Confirming the order and amount of time until it was ready! Perfect timing as when we walked through the door it was coming out of the oven. Cut, boxed, paid and out the door! The gentleman cooking seemed to be chief cook and bottle washer and cashier! Very friendly and definitely knew how to make a pizza. Pizza was absolutely delicious, still hot with an amazing flavor crust and fresh toppings. From crust to cheese pull and everything in between to the most excellent foldable quality of the thin but crisp crust, this is a fine example that should be tried by all who are yearning for that pizza from back home or want to taste what pizza should taste like! My name is Charlotte Wolfe and I was employed At Sals Brooklyn pizza for the last year . on Friday three days ago, I walked off the job because the owner Richard Amato is the most unethical person I've ever met. He's a criminal! He attack on a dollar without the customer ever suspecting a thing to each and every person's ticket price! He never lets them know a thing and they don't notice an extra dollar is added. It's unethical it's stealing!! He also charges the customer without telling them for a cup of ice or a cup of water or a straw or a napkin! If the customer does notice it on their ticket price, he screams at them usually profanities and says "look this isn't a hobby!" he's extremely rude and unprofessional and literally manhandle me three days ago for giving a customer a refill on their drink when they paid $2.75 for it! This was such a great pizza! We stopped by during the day and ordered a takeout pizza with garlic knots! We decided to try the aunt Helen's White pizza with added fresh garlic. This pizza has cheese and ricotta cheese. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and was efficient. This pizza was hand tossed and in our hands in about 15 minutes! The pizza was absolutely delicious!!!! I highly recommend this pizza to anyone!! The garlic knots were delicious but were a bit smaller than expected! They even provided us the plates and napkins!
