    Gigi and Juliette
    Emilia S.

Such a good sandwich! We had the Gigi and Juliette, both were very good the flavors are unique and the size is good for the price. the Juliette has balsamic and green apples and the Gigi has red peppers and is slightly spicy. 2 sandwiches is 30 dollars. The service was swift and friendly. Inside it's a very cute shop and there is seating for a small group of people. Definitely would come back!

From the beginning, this place felt like home. Angelo, is sweet, kind and generous. The food is made with love and flavor. Nothing compares to this man's work in the kitchen. I will come back always

Izzi sandwich (turkey pesto) on rosemary loaf

I went here for lunch on a Friday with a friend. He had been here before, but it was my first time. I was excited to see what moved into the spot previously occupied by MentaliTea. FYI - The Angelo family that owns this deli is not the same as the family that owns the Papa Angelo's pizzeria. However, you can order personal size pizzas here. They are called pizzettes. I decided to order one of their hot sandwiches. The Izzi has roast turkey, pesto, mozzarella cheese, greens, and balsamic vinegar. I got mine on the rosemary loaf. You can also get a (ciabatta?) roll or a wedge (which is what they call a sub roll). Everything about this sandwich was delicious. The rosemary loaf tasted great when it was warmed up, and there were crunchy bits at each end. I had to be careful to not hurt my mouth because it was close to Cap'n Crunch hard. The cheese and pesto added some umami and herb flavors. I could have done with a bit more turkey, but there was enough in there that you could taste it. The balsamic vinegar and greens added some bitterness that added to the mix of flavors in this sandwich. They don't have a soda fountain, but they have a cooler filled with Coke products -- including the rare Diet Cherry Coke. I chose Sprite Zero because I wanted some citrus flavor to pair with the flavors of the sandwich. It worked. Before we left, I checked out the refrigerated case. The arancini and marinated tomatoes were tempting. Maybe on my next visit I will buy some to bring home. Definitely need to try the meatball sandwich next time!

Angelo has put in incredible effort and it shows, from the tasty sandwich's and to his hospitality.

    Toasted Cugino sandwich - yum!

I kept hearing about this place and finally made it - so glad I did! If you haven't experienced Angelo's Deli yet, you need to put your shoes on, get in the car and head to Bethany! Angelo Cipollone is an Italian from Yonkers NY and his authentic Italian fare is legit! It was difficult to make a choice, but today I had the Paisano Pizzette (pesto, crispy chicken, sundried tomatoes, house mozzarella) and it was outstanding! That bread, y'all. I also had the Ravioli Balsamic Pasta Salad, which was excellent. My friend ordered the Cugino toasted sandwich (chicken cutlet, house mozzarella, roasted red peppers, pesto herbs w/house vodka sauce on rosemary loaf) and it was also delicious! The menu is mostly hot or cold sandwiches and pizzettes, but there is also a different hot item offered daily - today was some yummy-looking rustic Chicken Cacciatore and the zuppa del giorno was Italian Wedding Soup. Other entrees include Stuffed Peppers, Eggplant Parmgiana, Meatballs, etc. It's a deli so, of course, there are numerous sliced meats & cheeses available by the pound. Daily desserts include Tiramisu and traditional (chocolate chip) Cannoli, which is made fresh to order. I paired my delectable cannoli with a fabulous cappuccino made by Angelo himself! The decor is simple and tasteful but if you're wanting to eat-in, seating is limited so go early. In fact, Angelo's serves several tasty breakfast sandwiches, along with various caffe' beverages & biscotti from 8-10 am! (there's even a drive-thru!) They are open M-F 8-6 and Sat 8-2. Whenever you decide to go, be sure to meet the charming Angelo because he is the highlight of Angelo's Italian Deli - he will make your day better! I am already planning my next visit - I will probably choose the Italian Beef sandwich, or maybe the Hot Pastrami w/potato salad, or perhaps the Reuben? And then I'll get whatever entree' is on the hot table that day to take home for dinner because I know it will be fantastic! What are you waiting for?!

The most beautiful people and the most beautiful charcuterie board

The person who rated this place 2 stars is a LIAR. This place feels like home. The people are sooooo KIND and they will take care of you from beginning to end. Tell them what you want and they will make it happen. & so quickly! We called about a charcuterie board and not only did they have it made in less than 30 mins but it was CHEFS KISS GORGEOUS. We came here last week for sandwiches and they almost had me in tears at how FLAVORFUL they were. You just can't get food like that around here. So glad to have this place. The ambiance is beautiful and we will be repeat customers for as long as he is here. The desserts are also amazing. I've never had such a tasty cannoli or chocolate cake. You literally can't go wrong here.

Great Breakfast! Found this on Yelp…read more Very nice, clean place. Looks small on outside but plenty of seating. Ordered the Bowl with meats over potatoes. Asked for salsa too, 2 were $2.98 extra. Husband ordered the country bowl over Hashbrowns. Both good. You even get a side too. We got pancakes and then biscuits n gravy. They give you 2 biscuits but just enough gravy for 1. Next time I will just tell them 1 Biscut. They will charge probably for extra gravy. Plenty to fill you up.

Small cozy café with your typical diner feel…read more This was our first time in and we were super excited to try this place out. When we came in the, the only booth available was right next to the restroom. Not always a problem, but they had so much of that bathroom air freshener that it was completely overwhelming. You couldn't stand to sit there let alone try to eat a meal through it so we asked to be moved to a different table. Our waiter, cleared a table,... And seated someone else at it. He did this twice. So we went back to remind him that he was going to move us. He didn't seem too thrilled about it, but we finally did get a table away from the toilet. It took him 25 minutes to take our order. And then we never saw him again. We had to flag two other waiters down to get coffee refills. Now the food. We all ordered the two egg breakfast. One had scrambled eggs and three with eggs over medium. First, the orders came back with scramble so we had to send them back. They brought the eggs back, but they were not over medium, they were over hard. Not what anyone wanted, but we ate them. I will say that none of our food was hot , not even the plates. The plates were handed to us right to our hands so they didn't really even try to warm anything. Several of us ordered grits and that was a joke. There was literally 4 tablespoons of grits. I would barely call that a side dish. The best thing about our experience was that the coffee was blazing hot and that was great... If you could only get a refill without having to hunt down a waiter. Service was one. I'm giving the review of three because the food didn't taste bad but I would've preferred it Hot and cooked properly. Maybe next time...?
