    Izzi on a Loaf
    Sandi K.

AHMAZING. Very friendly. Called in an order since we have a short lunch. Everything was so tasty. Definitely love supporting local. Seating is outside. But very authentic type deli. Between the 6 of us, we all enjoyed everything we ordered. 10/10 would recommend

Izzi sandwich (turkey pesto) on rosemary loaf

On my last visit I met a friend for lunch on a Tuesday. All tables but one were full when I arrived. I snagged a table for us. My friend hadn't been there before. I recommended anything on the rosemary loaf and he accepted that suggestion. I ordered the Nonna's meatball sandwich on rosemary loaf. This was every bit as comforting and warm as I hoped it would be. I sampled a few bites of meatball by themselves. They were not as herby or beefy as I like meatballs to be but they were nevertheless delicious. The main problem with this sandwich was my choice of the rosemary loaf. It was too dense for my taste and made the bites too tall for my mouth. I adapted by removing the top piece of bread and eating like a crostini. I took the rest of the bread home. It was too delicious to throw away. Next time I will try the smaller sub roll that they call a "roll." Another downside of this restaurant is the chairs. They are high and not stable. The minute you try to adjust yourself in the seat, the whole chair wobbles. I nearly fell down twice. To avoid knocking over the fake flowers on our table and to give us more space to eat, I moved the vase of fake flowers to the floor.

    Gigi and Juliette

Such a good sandwich! We had the Gigi and Juliette, both were very good the flavors are unique and the size is good for the price. the Juliette has balsamic and green apples and the Gigi has red peppers and is slightly spicy. 2 sandwiches is 30 dollars. The service was swift and friendly. Inside it's a very cute shop and there is seating for a small group of people. Definitely would come back!

From the beginning, this place felt like home. Angelo, is sweet, kind and generous. The food is made with love and flavor. Nothing compares to this man's work in the kitchen. I will come back always

Tiramisu, Lemon Cake, and Cannoli (along with a vanilla latte and matcha latte). All delicious!

Great desserts! We tried the tiramisu, the lemon cake, and the cannoli! They were all awesome! They have great coffee too!

The food, energy and conversation are all good. Very Italian bistro vibe. Small. A few 2 top tables. Lots of takeout.

I was quickly welcomed and put on a short wait but my 10-15 minute wait was more like 3 minutes. We both ordered a sandwich and tater tots as the side. The club sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. It had nice texture and the bread was perfectly toasted. It's a big sandwich and I took half to go. Tots were crunchy and golden brown. The macaroni pony was also delicious. We customized it at the recommendation of our waitress after trying to decide between several options. I would recommend giving this place a try. It was the perfect place to get a good meal while traveling thru town.

My mom ordered the Caesar salad without Parmesan. She said it was a little too spicy for her and didn't really taste like a traditional Caesar salad, so she probably wouldn't order it again. My other mom got the cheese curds and said they were really good, and my brother enjoyed his tater tots. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The soup was delicious, and the sandwich had the perfect crispy, golden crust. My only complaint was that the cheese wasn't very melty--it tasted more like processed American cheese than a gooey grilled cheese. Even so, it was still really good. The atmosphere was relaxed, the waiter was friendly and polite, and all of the staff were welcoming. They also have T-shirts for sale, which was a fun touch. I'd definitely come back!

This place is basically the mafia of yum-town. You have the choice of that freezer burn tasting bread place sponsored by the prison guy. They did sell me to try them again after saying they revamped the menu, but double the cheese and double the price isn't the revamp they thought it was. You have the, Sniff Us and eject all the contents of the sandwich as soon as you squeeze the bread place. Also took them 5 years to figure out how to put a pickle on it or not hand you packets if you wanted regular mustard. But I digress. Love Jersey Mike's. Always great, always consistent and always a good value for the quality. This visit was probably the friendliest and thoughtful experience I have had. Guy running the scene today was a standout as far as interested in delivering a quality customer visit. I forgot to take a pic of the food but uhhh... if you have had their food before it always looks the same and by that I mean it's a great sandwich. If the owner sees this, check the schedule on who was running the place at around 2pm today. Good find in that guy, quality person.

We knew Jason's Deli is the only place that fit the bill so we drove up to NW Expressway for our self commitment to eating a salad and we were NOT disappointed! We were greeted with a big smile and warm greeting from the manager, Katrina, when we walked in. We ordered our salads, Katrina told us how and where to go to get fresh plates (we each ordered an unlimited salad bar) and away we went. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating. The salad bar was well stocked, cold, and had all the options we wanted and more! While we ate, salad bar staff were keeping the salad bar stocked and clean, and Katrina came to check on us during the visit. Our family forgot we needed to bring a dish to an event later in the day so I asked Katrina if they could quickly cater a fruit tray for me. Katrina told me absolutely! And by the time we were all done with our meals, Katrina packaged up the freshest, most beautiful fruit tray that ended up being the biggest hit of the gathering we went to. And I need to add that the restaurant was pleasantly busy. People were continuing to come in and out, and Katrina and her team were still able to pull together such an impressive tray for us. We won't hesitate to come back. It was worth the 20 mile drive to make our way out to this Jason's Deli location. Thanks for Katrina for being so kind and for the whole staff for being professional and amazing!

That's all I had told him he explained to me what had happened was our fault when we were ordering she ordered what she wanted and I ordered what I wanted. I didn't understand he was quite and distant but it was like we had to tell him twice, but when he brought our food out, it was one meal and when my daughter told him he was saying that he didn't know we wanted more food and we were dining in. The only thing we did not do was to look at the receipt. I gave him a five dollar tip and we sat down and wait on our food and when it was brought out, we had one burger meal and a small box of their wings, and that was when we looked at the receipt so my daughter informed him he got the order it was paid for, but he never did apologize for the mixup and that's what I was letting him know, but he did get belligerent and started yelling at us as if we cussed him out and it was our fault. We should've paid attention because he told us what we had ordered, which was not so he was not very talkative. He didn't smile. We didn't pay attention to that. Otherwise I wouldn't have never given him a tip. We left him a bad review. He wants to comment it and say that we were trying to get a free meal, which is totally against my character, but not once I yelled at him the way he yelled at me I was surprised that as a manager that's how he handled the the misunderstanding which was not professional at all, I told him I would not come back because the service was not good, but for some reason this man has a terrible disposition. I'm sorry, sir. I have to leave this but you know what you did again like I told you, the food was good but as a manager of a business you won't have that business long if you treat people like the way you treated me and my daughter.
