This location is so cute, has indoor and outdoor seating, and offers a cornhole game area. Felt like a quick service restaurant where you order before sitting. They have a hydration station where you can grab your own water and condiments. I tried the other location, but this is my first time trying this location. Honestly pretty disappointed at the biscuits considering that is the whole point of the restaurant. Food came out not warm. I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, but rarely go into the city anymore. I finally had the chance after an appointment nearby and decided to check things out. The place is spacious and they have a great covered patio that is pet friendly. It doesn't have a view of anything, but the weather was great. I recently had to go gluten free and was pleasantly surprised that they have a "gluten friendly" biscuit and I couldn't tell any difference (very tasty) nor did I have any issues after my meal. If you have Celiac disease or a true wheat allergy, this means that while the biscuit wasn't made with wheat or gluten, that it's not truly "gluten free" because it may have come in contact with items that were used to cook gluten products. I got the Jefe Biscuit sandwich which was delicious and a Diet Coke. Staff was great. read more

We were greeted by smiling faces and an enthusiastic welcome. The restaurant is clean and bright with no vestiges of the Interurban that once was here. You order at the front desk which I can see being a choke point during high traffic times, especially if it's your first visit and having different things explained to you is impractical. We were given a number plate and chose our own table. Our coffees were refilled at least once while we waited and many times as we ate so no complaints about the service. The coffee is delivered at a drinkable temperature which sounds great until a few minutes has passed when you have a cup of cold coffee. I ordered the Truck Stop which is eggs, bacon or sausage, tater tots and biscuits & gravy. I suppose the tater tots are a replacement for hash browns. I'm sure that they're easier for the kitchen but they just don't work for me. You can choose a mushroom gravy or sausage gravy. I have no idea why anyone would want mushroom gravy. I ordered the sausage gravy which topped my meal and was served cold. I didn't like the flavor of it either but the temperature was a problem. Normally I would have sent it back but I had an appointment to make and there wasn't time. The over easy eggs were prepared as requested. My dining partner ordered the Hot Mess which is a pared down version of my selection. He ordered scrambled eggs with his. His experience mirrored mine with the temperature of the gravy and coffee. With so many breakfast options in Oklahoma City I'm afraid that I won't be back. There are many other menu options so I hope your experience will be better than mine. read more

This place is a must stop! I had a sweet tooth which is rare for breakfast and this came through! The sweetness from the butter, whipped cream, and maple syrup was amazing along with the fresh berries was the cherry on top. The biscuit was butter and soft with a crunch from the toast. I have honestly had probably 50+ meals here and I have never had an issue! I do door dash a lot and oddly enough I absolutely love the chicken pot pie! It seems to be an odd thing for a brunch place to have but it is so good on a cold morning for brunch. My most recent trip I had the maple cinnamon latte and WOW, it was amazing! I also had the salmon benny which was wonderful. You MUST get the strawberry biscuits when you come here because they are the best thing in the menu in my opinion. I have brought my kiddos here as well and they loved their meals. They also serve mimosas, bloody Mary's and brunch type cocktails. I had the holly bowl with a cheddar biscuit and partner had the truck stop. Both of us enjoyed the food, the portions were more than enough, and the food came out quickly. The service was ok but no one checked on us after we got our food or offered refills until we were literally leaving. The dining room music was a nice combination of lots of different genres and was a comfortable volume. The only "complaint" is the kitchen also had very different and very loud music as well, creating an incredibly overstimulating dual audio situation that made it difficult to have conversation and unenjoyable. The sausage gravy was a great consistency and I do wish I had more. I did ask for over-medium eggs and they were a bit undercooked but they were well mixed with the great sausage patty. The tots were crispy and soft in the middle like they should be. The hostess was so sweet and patient as we looked over the menu and I mean we LOOKED OVER THE MENU. You will order when you get in then they give you a number to take to your table. Like I said we didn't have to wait long. You can grab your ice water, ketchup, and condiments right after you pay at the little bar. I will say the salt was a pain to get out as they put sea salt in the shakers and the holes are not big enough, but neither was my stomach to finish all this wonderful food. I did order the cinnamon roll and it was very good and flavorful. I wish it had a little more glaze and I needed the moisture to help push everything down. I was full but I kept eating. It was still completely edible but, down a star since I didn't get a fresh from the oven biscuit ): Regardless.. I really enjoyed the gravy- it was full of sausage and plenty of seasoning. I added pepper for my own preference but, it didn't need anything extra to be honest. After seeing the egg on the plate across from me, I had to have one! I can never eat much in the morning. That's why the biscuit and gravy. This will probably be my choice when I go back to Hunny (and I will be back). The gravy was amazing with LOTS of slices of browned mushrooms. Every bite came with a mushroom. For only $6, I considered it a win. Add my side of bacon for $3, and it became a win/win! Then, there was Wilmer. Hunny has a register and a menu when you come in the door. You order there, then choose your seat. We chose a booth, which was even more comfortable that it looked. Wait staff brings your food. Wilmer, with his cute smile and wonderful sense of humor, brought ours. Being a little older, we are sometimes a mess in restaurants. We can't find stuff, ask for things that are already on the table, and joke with the young staff. Wilmer was patient with us, laughed at our stupid comments, and checked on us several times. As soon as you walk in, you order. We chose al fresco dining because Oklahoma had its act together with the weather today. So first order in the front of the restaurant, pay, then find your spot. The tables were spaced out nicely per Covid and everything was clean and well kept. It was peaceful despite being so close to Memorial and the highway. My wife ordered chicken pot pie bowl but opted for the tator tots with cheese on top instead of the biscuit. She loved it! And it was a lot of food for I ordered the BLT biscuit and y'all wow. It was so good. I loved the texture of the biscuit and it was such a nice balance to all the other sandwich ingredients. Also well worth the money. Another side note is it comes with ranch instead of mayonnaise which I appreciated (mayo isn't for everyone YALL!). Upon arriving, three couples were standing around looking over the large menu board. They encouraged us to go ahead and place our order, which made us feel totally rushed to make a decision. I would advise against tipping upfront. I did, feeling pressured to do so but regretted it afterward. My husband was asked how he liked our eggs. He said doesn't matter as long as they are not runny eggs, the gal said okay fried, and he said that's fine as long as they are not runny. The greeter was fantastic. The waitress was so friendly, polite, went over the menu with us, and made sure our coffee cups were refilled; even got to meet the manager. He was so friendly. The staff was friendly and quick, and the order (I got another Truck Stop with sausage for my son) was perfectly packaged. Instead of throwing everything together in one container, which would have made a mushy mess within a few blocks, they had separate containers for each part. I really enjoyed it. What's funny is that nothing in particular stood out. The eggs were cooked correctly, a decent quality bacon, a good, if a bit dry, biscuit and good sausage gravy. But when combined, it was thoroughly satisfying. That may sound funny, but I've had similar breakfast dishes where the individual parts were great, but not so when put together.
