If you are looking for a classic standard pizza, Angelo's has you covered but the rest of the menu looks to be a bust. The wings themselves were both meaty and juicy, but the sauces ended up lacking. The buffalo sauce tasted like just bottled buffalo sauce and the garlic Parmesan tasted similar, mostly being a one note flavor mess. The eggplant Parmesan was a generic eggplant Parmesan that is only made tasty by the amount of mozzarella on the eggplant. The sauce was watery and had no flavor. The eggplant breading just fell off and was mushy. Tasted like a frozen eggplant parm. Garlic knots had a hard shell surrounding a doughy center. Every bite you can taste the garlic. The knots could use a bit more salt to enhance some of the garlic flavor but these were still good. The pizza is a bit of a mixed bag. While the crust and sauce are a bit generic and underwhelming the toppings and cheese make up for it to make a serviceable pie. Crust was your standard American chain pie with a thick enough crust but lacks any stability or flavor. Sauce is so generic it makes no impact on the pizza. The toppings are plentiful as well as the cheese and they are all of good quality. We had olives, onion, pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms and it wasn't too much or too little. The only negative is with all the toppings and cheese, the pizza did get greasy. Overall an above average pizza for a very average looking one. They had no water cups so everyone had to get a soda. They also have a sign saying no bringing water bottles in so there isn't anyway to get water unless you want to purchase a bottle of water. While this pizza isn't top of the line, it will still satisfy your pizza needs. read more

If you want good pizza, this is the place to be on the island. It is ALWAYS busy, so expect at least an hour wait for your food. This is the spot for locals and tourist. They have a great arcade room with plenty of game machines, a pool table and an Air Hockey table, to keep the kids entertained while you wait. Hand them a $20 and let them at it. Establishment is always clean and has a very laid back appeal. Staff is friendly, but not up for conversation, considering how busy they are, you can't blame them. Food is always good, from pizza to subs to wraps. Never had anything bad. Beer selection is great and they offer bottles or fountain sodas/juice. They have two dining areas inside and tables outside as well as yard games to play. All in all, it's a great, family friendly, place to eat. read more

The pizza taste amazing very very good. the chicken wings not bad, the calamari average (skip it).... but I have to let you know the menu that is shown on yelp is some menu from the 1800s because they have changed their prices like legit the prices have doubled due to the inflation hell we r in. The chicken wings are no longer $7.50 They are $11.70. And that's for six chicken wings.... A pepperoni large pizza is $21 Calamari appetizer is $14 not $7.50 I guess I can't hate because I trusted yelp and the pictures that were posted of their menu then again the person taking my order did not confirm prices so all in all I could not account for $22 .... but after looking on their website you get the latest and greatest prices...you have to go to their website that's where all the updated prices are. It's what it is whatever it was good food but still, I was expecting $55. ...not $69. Got into Avon around 2pm on Saturday and we placed our order around 3:30pm. They said it would be an hour and a half and we were fine with that since Saturdays are always extremely busy. We ordered two large pepperoni, 2 lg cheese, and two lg meat lovers. The pizza was good, but it is not that greasy NY style pizza which is my favorite! It's good, just not blow your mind good. We also got Mild and BBQ Buffalo wings. The wings are decent size, good taste, but the mild could have used more sauce. Kinda dry. Wow this pizza is GOOD. the cheese is so rich and fresh. Barely any grease on this pizza so you know its good cheese. Will deffinatley come back next time. The place gets packed so they get a little backed up but they have good customer service. They have indoor and outdoor seating which I love. It has a casual atmosphere. OMG, we picked up Angelo's for lunch a number of times over the years, but today I tried the fried chicken dinner (I was unusually famished). I am not much of a fried chicken connoisseur but I had a feeling it might be special. It was clearly a homemade house specialty (ok I made that up, but it must be the house specialty since it is so awesome); but it was simultaneously crispy, juicy and crunchy. The chicken is crazy good and you get four pieces and it is easy to gobble all four. It comes with fries but they went untried. We also tried the steak and cheese sub, chili cheese fries and the wings. All were solid. We have always used takeout and seems very efficient. We have never ordered the pizza so can't offer any opinion there. Don't be afraid try Angelo's! read more

Our toddler wanted French fries at an inconvenient time of night and we were glad to find this place not far from the beach. We got a take out order of fries, and they were great! We ended up swinging by again a little later to try the pizza and fried pickles, plus another order of fries for the toddler. The service was great! Very fast. The prices were reasonable for the portions. And the fried pickles were the best we ever had! Our only disappointment is that we didn't discover this place until the last night of our trip. We loved our large north shore pizza (which comes with any five toppings of our choice) with stuffed crust. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, the latter facing the parking lot. You order online or at the counter that you see as soon as you walk in. In addition to pizza, they serve sandwiches (the cheesesteak sandwich was quite popular) and other Italian staples. There is also an arcade area in the back. The drinks are quite cheap (including $2.99 glasses of wine!). We were a group of 6 traveling from Chicago, Manhattan and Orlando just looking for a place to have fun and found this pizza and arcade place. We weren't really hungry so we just ordered appetizers... fried pickles, jalapeño poppers, fried calamari and chili cheese fries. I happened to be on a temporary vegan, dairy and sugar/sweetener free diet so requested a salad with all the veggies and fruit available and Angelo's accommodated at a fair price and everything was fresh. While playing in the arcade the bowling game took my $1 so I informed the lady at the counter. She said Angelo's doesn't give money back so she opened her purse and gave me $1.
