When you have a pie home delivered and you like it, that's the moment you decide you wanna go there and eat it fresh..!!! This is how we decided to go grab a slice for lunch but the smell as we walked inside made us order the whole pie instead... Yeah that's what pizza does to you.. Anyway the place was really clean and luckily not crowded and we got a table instantly . We placed our order for the classic margherita at the counter and took our seats waiting to dig in. We were asked if we wanted an soda or drink to go with it but the decision from a slice to a pie made us watch the sugar ‍ after all you gotta balance it out. The server came by and placed the pizza rack and plates and our came our pie in less than 10 mins. Our server just realizes he did not give us the spatula to serve and apologized and returned with one. Honestly we would have happily used our hands by then as we were super hungry and we didn't even notice the missing spatula. The condiments were already lying on the table so we dressed our slices and gave in. Finally after the first slice found its way in, I observed that there were a lotta deliveries going out and pick ups happening. Our server was really nice and came back to ask us if we were fine and with our mouths stuffed all we did was smile and gave a thumbs up. We were hoping to take the left overs back home but between the two of us we nailed it and wiped it clean. Went to Angelo's in Mt Laurel on Union Mill road. Ordered a harvest veggie salad for pick up.I was told the dressing was already on it, yet there was none. The goat cheese was moosh and the veggies were what seemed to be boiled, which the menu said nothing about. ( mixed with a few raw pieces) it was supposed to contain broccoli and there was none. My co- workers ordered minestrone soup that was tasteless and a a turkey and cheese wrap that was overloaded with mayonnaise. We all agreed we will never order from there again. read more

I never usually write reviews but this is the second time in a row I have ordered from Angelos and the pizza just hasn't been that good. Ordered two thin square cheese pizzas. Barely no cheese on them and undercooked. Also ordered two thin square buff chicken pizzas which were also undercooked and the chicken had a funny taste. We order from Angelo's several times a month. Tonight, we have out of town guests from DC and Maine arriving and we ordered a large amount of food. The past few times we ordered they have messed up an item or forgot something. When we received our order, we were missing several items. When we called the manager to let her know she was rude and did not help us at all. She said she would get us our food when she could, and the delivery driver dropped off to the wrong house. We have several people that don't have food, and the manager didn't seem to care. Horrible customer service from the manager. Very disappointed in the service or lack there of read more

This used to be one of our go-to spots, but it has gone downhill and become overpriced. Add on that the last couple of times we have ordered, something has been wrong, and you can see why it has fallen out of favor. The prices used to be great. The prices then started to go up. Then, they started adding a delivery charge. Next, there was a credit card fee. Slowly and surely they stopped being a deal compared to other places. The last 3 times (the last being today), we have had issues. We called last time, and was told they would make it up to us on a future order. That never happened. We called and emailed the next time, and heard nothing. Tonight, we again had an issue with the order, which is why I am leaving this review. It looks like other recent reviews notice the decline in orders being correct. There are better options out there, particularly with all the nickel-and-dime fees that they add. read more

The service and quality has fallen off the map for Angelo's. I still very much enjoy their pizza, however every single time I order from here, they mess something up. When you call they seem annoyed and offer to bring something to you. You order wings, they forget the sauce or the bleu cheese. You order cheese fries, they forget the cheese. It got to the point where I ordered maybe 5 times in a row with them giving them chance after chance and they continued to mess up the order. The quality of the pizza is still really good, but all of their prices have skyrocketed. Sides and appetizers are mediocre and prices have gone up... and then they mess the order up on top of it. I'm out. Haven't ordered from them in months, and don't plan to ever again. read more

There is no shortage of pizzerias in the tristate area. In fact, a quick Google search will yield at least a dozen different Angelo's Pizzas scattered throughout the state. Don't let the common name fool you... I've both dined in and had take out from Angelo's. This is hands down some of the best pizza I've had in the area for several reasons. #1. The sauce is 'bright' with lots of flavor. It's got a nice sweetness to it which I presume comes from some high quality (perhaps Jersey?) tomatoes. #2. The cheese is quite tasty - a nice mozzarella that has the perfect blend of saltiness. #3. The crust is on the thinner side but is still able to hold up the cheese and sauce with very little flop. You can't go wrong with the Old Fashioned or Grandma pies. Can't decide which to get? Get em both! Other items that deserve honorable mention include their cheesesteak pizza and buffalo 'tails.' I don't typically stray away from traditional pies but this was damn good - perfect mixture of steak and onions that was fully supported by the crust. And what are tails may you ask? They are essentially chicken fingers drenched in buffalo sauce. Sounds kinda basic right? Think again! This sauce is damn good. Damn good (it deserves two) It's got a nice consistency with a spicy buffalo kick and a touch of sweetness - I'm going to ask my friends to look away next time so I can drink it. This sauce does not deserve to be wasted. Like I mentioned before, I've dined in and had take out. The food was exceptional both times. By this point, you may be scratching your head thinking I've gone on and on about how great they are, so why not the full five stars? Well, Angelo's is a pizzeria, not a restaurant. Yet, this location provides table service, which seems silly to me. I'd much rather prefer to walk in, place my order and then go and grab my slice and bring it back to my table. If you feel that table service is necessary, then maybe add some tablecloths, soothing Italian music and some fountain soda? Just a thought. I will return and recommend you start planning your first trip. read more

Great food but terrible service. First I order 2 Meatball Parm sandwiches and fries to go. It takes a little long maybe 20-25 minutes, but nothing crazy. As I start to walk out with the food I realize the bag feels light. There's only one sandwich. I go back in, and have to wait for the 2nd sandwich. One of the women asks if she can put the sandwich I got on top of the oven to keep it warm. This was the only positive part of the service. Then I get home and one of the sandwiches isn't a meatball parm, but a chicken parm. I call them and get put on hold for awhile. The manager says "Oh, so YOU got the chicken parm." ... the way she said it is important because it sounded as though who ever got the meatball parm had already complained. Then she tells me she will deliver the 2nd sandwich but to make sure I give the driver the wrong sandwich back. Why does she want it back? She already knows someone else complained that they got a meatball instead of a chicken. Are they going to store it until someone else orders another one? Do they think that some other customer and I got together to plot against them for a free sandwich? I would not trust the food from here. It is possible they resell returned food. read more

This is our go to local pizza place. If you sign up for their rewards you get $10 off coupons every few months or so. They're friendly and professional and delivery is FAST. They have a great app for ordering on mobile as well and a convenient site for ordering online. But of course most importantly we love their cheese steaks and pizza. I grew up in South Jersey so I have had a lot of cheese steaks - Angelo's are my favorites. Great rolls and plenty of meat. My husband loves their buffalo chicken cheese steaks and I love their chicken and cheese steak hoagies. Their pizza is thin and crispy just how we like it. The pizza was beautiful and quite filling. There's no bathroom for patrons which knocks the score down by 1 star. Parents with little kids may find the bathroom situation challenging. The staff was nice, attentive, friendly and pleasant. They all had good manners and greeted us properly. This was refreshing and rare. The staff said goodbye when we left. read more

They CHARGE to use the credit card (and do not inform you before paying) and expect you to TIP on take-out! When I asked why I should be expected to provide a TIP for take-out they had no answer. They do not have typical pizza ovens just some sort of conveyor belt pizza device that does not do the same job as an oven. Pre pandemic Angelo's was 5 stars - food was delicious and always delivered correctly. Post pandemic every single time I order there is an issue which for the prices there especially shouldn't be. I am sad to come to terms with the idea that I just can't order here anymore. Every time I order something or multiple things are incorrect, someone needs to check the orders before they go out for delivery. You order cheesesteak with extra cheese - you get no cheese at all, you order a side of fried onions which NOW costs extra they forget it and you never get it, you order hot wings they either forget the hot sauce or the blue cheese OR something from your order is missing completely and your only option is to wait for a replacement to be driven to you which like, am I really going to make someone drive here and deliver me fried onions? No. Also I just had to wait for my food now I have to wait longer so the half order I received gets cold while I wait? No. But time after time it's the same issues and if this happened once or twice fine but it is to the point where it is EVERY TIME we order something is messed up. We have given them second chance's multiple times. My husband and mother in law refused to order from there months ago and I keep trying but still- every time an issue. I'm sorry but never again, what once was my favorite pizza place is now overpriced and lacking efficiency. Having recently relocated from an area near the shore that was predominantly Italian-American, I'm amazed at how much easier it is to find a really good pizza down here. Angelo's has been my go-to for about six months now, and the consistent quality of their pizza is striking. When I say it seems almost machine made, that's not meant disparagingly. It is exactly the same, every time. And every time, it is excellent. There's a touch of sweetness to the sauce that livens up the pie, and the toppings are applied evenly and in good proportion. I usually prefer chunks of sausage to slices, and sliced sausage almost invariably indicates a lazily made, substandard product to me, but that is not the case here. I find the crust to be of an ideal thickness that manages to be on the thinner side without becoming either a soggy or crispy cracker, but having an ample, rounded crust. I have yet to try anything else beyond their pizza at this point, but I wouldn't be averse to giving it a shot. My expectations for pizzeria entrees are fairly low, and therefore easy to exceed. read more

Update 2021: Back for another hoagie and pizza. The Italian hoagie tasted delicious with generous toppings. The singin' chicken pizza was unique and so tasty. As before the guys who worked there were friendly and attentive. This is a great place to eat or take out. Next time we'll try some of the other items on the menu. So we decided to try some hoagies from Angelos on a whim and within 5 minutes they were ready! Fresh rolls, shredded lettuce, fat slices of tomatoes, thinly sliced onions abound on our turkey hoagies. They made it just the way we love it with only one drawback... for 8$ only 2 slices of turkey is kinda lame. This hoagie is otherwise perfect! The quick service and friendly faces will make getting your order a breeze, I just hope there is more meats on our next round of hoagies! read more

We have been to Angelo's Voorhees about five times since they opened a few months ago. The place is great for eat in and take out. If you go for slices of pizza to eat in, the slices are huge! One slice is like a slice and a half and there is a lot of variety of individual slices to choose from. My favorite is the white buffalo chicken. Their hoagies and hot sandwiches are also very good. Take out service is quick and easy and the prices are reasonable. Our order is always accurate and is ready when we get there to pick up. We haven't tried delivery yet. read more

Ugh. I had high expectations for this place and so excited to have an option of someone to deliver to kings grant. Just so you know I'm not being unfair... this review is after at least ten orders, and I only kept going because of lack of options available in Marlton. My biggest gripe, inconsistency. And most of the time food is not warm when it gets to me. So last night I ordered a calzone and mozzarella fries. Fries were okay, tho soggy, and calzone definitely was wimpy on the fillings, had cubed ham (who does this?) and was microwaved. I know this because, the shell was almost impossible to eat. You know how you microwave pizza? And you have a window to eat it of about a minute before it turns to rubber? Right. Gross. Time before that I ordered a personal size pie that was too big for the box they put it in so when it got to me none of the toppings or cheese were in place. Who wants to eat that? Prior to that I ordered wings and got literal dry wings with no sauce, no blue cheese, celery, anything. Wtf? Ordered the old fashioned from this place and some wings with two different sauces. The pizza was pretty solid, different then the normal Sicilian that I am use to but I would get it again. The wings were okay we got zesty garlic and the garlic parm and both were alright, with the zesty garlic being a good deal better. Wings themselves were not that bad; decent meat on them and maybe a little more fried then I like but not terrible. Overall this place seems pretty solid to get some take out from. I have been using this entitlement for a couple yrs as well. Last night, like many Fridays during the year I stopped to pick up my food that was delivered. I tried to use the $10.00 off (assumed it was used after the discussion with the girl at the counter since we discussed) and find out it expired the night before. Are you kidding, I ask? For the past year the Emergency Department at Marlton has been working on the front line caring for COVID and non-COVID patients. In the beginning we received an overwhelming response from multiple people and businesses showing and stating their support for us, almost on a daily basis. All of these generous gifts tapered off within the months following the start of the pandemic, all but Angelo's Voorhees. We have received consistent pizza-powered energy from our friends at Angelo's Voorhees every Wednesday for the past year. There have been nights we were so busy this would be our only dinner and other nights where pizza showed up to our excitement and we exclaimed "oh it's Wednesday!" Not only is the pizza amazingly tasty-fresh on arrival or at 3am- but the unwavering support throughout this past year has reminded us how much care Angelo's Voorhees has for those of us on the frontlines. Food was burnt and full of grease. I got the loaded fries they looked like a burnt tire. I also got the cheesesteak egg rolls that the second I bit into them my mouth filled with grease. The cheese sauce tasted stale and thick had to add ketchup and sriracha. "Famous buffalo chicken pizza with tails" no tails just dry pizza with cheese a four circle of hot sauce and dried out white chicken. Not worth 40 dollars or even 5.
