Called AAA for my son's car because of a battery issue as we needed a new battery and it was still under warranty. The guy came out and with out checking told my son it was his alternator not a battery . Told him to throw water in it then charged my son $75. to jump it. My son had cables and could have jumped it himself as he was at a busy location. My son says he'd call AAA and complain, that's when he called my son a cheap mother F^^^^r as well as other cuss words. Very unprofessional. If I could put half of a star I would. Need a tow that was set up by AAA. Was given 3 different deadlines that Angelo towing didn't make good on. I called them directly and not only were the rude and disrespectful he then said it would be another longer wait do because now the driver had to fuel up. That was the first reason a hour and a half prior. I would rather push my vehicle from San Diego to Las Vegas! Than deal with Angelo's towing. It geta better I then told him ok ill let AAA and he says I'll cancel the tow? What? I didn't even mention that. Want to start by saying that Eric the driver of the tow truck was the nicest and most respectful person we came in contact at Angelo's Towing. Eric was very courteous and very eager to help. He managed to work diligently and got our vehicle home safely. I would give him 5 stars alone but overall it's a 3 because the dispatcher (Mary) was aggressive, rude and just completely lacked customer service. Originally the wait time was an hour then it changed 4 different times to 3+ hours. Two different times I called for updates she said the tow will be arriving in the next few minutes and then sent a text update with additional time (45-1hr more). Just unacceptable. read more

Do not use the towing company. They are a total rip off and the driver was very rude. He delivered my truck 9.8 miles according to my odometer reading and charged for 16 miles. He then threatened to take my truck if I didn't pay. Company's like this makes us entrepreneurs look bad. read more

Dispatched by AAA, the driver was unprofessional, at best. There were issues from the very beginning, this guy was adversarial, lacked basic communication skills, and was evidently having a bad day. If you don't want to take the long drive during rush hour, just say so and go home. He made every excuse in the book and drove off upset blaming me stating I was angry. If expressing my frustrations regarding your lack of efficiency is considered, "angry" then yes, I was angry. Did I raise my voice? No. Was i cursing at you? No. Did I say anything personal or offensive? No. Did I comply and produce any and all documents you requested? Yes. Was I within policy guidelines? Yes. Member services at AAA seemed to agree, apologizing on this company's behalf. I will make a note reminding myself to request that Angelo's towing is never called out to us again. My truck was stolen and somehow Angelos Towing was able to show hp and tow it to their yard within 10 min of the cops finding it. Then they kept changing the amt we owed. So we asked for proof of who authorized the tow and an itemized invoice to break down the charges for my ins co. Refused...so we filed papers with dmv to block the lien sale. They tried suing us in small claims court. They sent a process server to my house and i was at qork. I guess they didnt think we knew so we showed up and THEY DIDNT!!!! Like who sues you and doesnt bother showing up??? I guess they have money to waste!!! This company is SUPER SHADY!!!!! I found other posts showing the very same scenario where A car was stolen and the cops said they had 40 min to retrieve their vehicle or be towed and Angelos towing is already towing them within 10 min. I called AAA to have my car towed from my mechanic to my home. They told me I don't need to be their as long as I give the name of the mechanic that will be releasing my car with proof of my registration. I added that to the notes for the tow. The tow truck driver called me asking where I was and told him my mechanic will release my car gave him the name. He told me he couldn't do that but then called his shop for guidance. When he called me back he said "we can do this one time only, you have to be there" I told him that is not what AAA told me and I added the note. He said he saw the note but it didn't say I wasn't going to be there. The note stated "my mechanic (name) will release my car and he has my registration as well". No big deal. Then he told me that the shop was 17 miles away and I'll owe him money. I told him there is no way my home is 17 miles away. It's between 11-13 depending on what route. He told me no and that AAA gives them the route. So I called AAA who told me that they only provide the address and the shop chooses the route. AAA rep googled the route and told me it's 14 miles. I called the this shop and they confirmed 14 miles. All is well. Then the tow truck driver arrives and I walk up to his truck and thank him and he said "I was going to charge you for 11 miles but you called AAA so I'm charging you 14. " I responded "you told me 17 miles and if you told me 14 I would agreed in the first place" He was so rude and every penny counts right now since my car has major issues and this company tried to get me for 17 miles then had the nerve to say what he said. On top of that he parked my car over 12 inches away from the curb and my car doesn't start. I will be calling AAA next. They should take a page from the tow company that towed my car from Oceanside to Corona. That is service!!!! read more

On 12/3/22 This tow company was dispatched by AAA to assist with a tire blow out. When the driver arrived I asked him to please handle my car with care. It is very expensive (2020 Mercedes S560). He did the total opposite. The driver scraped up the chrome to the entire front end of my car & tore a piece of the chrome off on the passenger side. The driver actually attempted to push back the portion he tore off in effort to try to get a photo showing no damage. I called him out on his attempt of dishonesty. Fortunately, I have several witnesses along with video surveillance of the entire incident. For weeks I have tried to get this company to do the right thing by fixing my vehicle. I have been met by everything unprofessional. They claimed to have ordered a replacement part & sent a picture of a part that I do not know is for my car. It was supposed to be a part for the end torn & not a replacement for the entire front end scraped up by their driver. I have the entire incident on video. The driver was careless & took no precautions handling my car. I haven't heard much from this company nor do I sense any urgency to handle this matter speedily. I feel that because I am a women I am not taken seriously. I work hard for the things I want in life & having my very expensive vehicle damaged by a careless tow truck driver without it being correctly & completely fixed is not going to happen. A request for a owner call back has fell on deaf ears as well. I am now having to get my attorney involved. Beware when using this company. Along with carelessness, poor integrity, poor business practices, poor customer service, & poor character from my own experience with this tow company are a big issue here. read more

I also had a horrible experience with Angelo's Towing through AAA. Had a flat tire and AAA dispatched Angelo's Towing to swap my flat with the spare. When we attempted to remove the spare to put our patched tire/wheel back on, the first lug nut we tried to remove broke off with the bolt. We found the technician had cross threaded the lug nuts on the bolts when they installed the spare. We're now having to deal with a claim through AAA which will take weeks that we won't be able to use our vehicle. Shout out to DAVID!!!! I was very impressed with his service! I was so impressed with them David literally just dropped our truck off and I came straight inside to write a review. I had ca AAA and their company was dispatched out to us. We couldn't get our key to turn to work to start the truck and the wheel was locked and we were stuck at a gas station in riverside. We only had to wait about 15 mins! (Thank god because I just had surgery that morning and I was in pain and not wanting to stay there for that long) David is the one who was dispatched to help us out! You can really tell he took so much pride, care and efficiency in his job and actually cared about the vehicle and didn't just try and drag it up. It was a pricy truck (It wouldn't go in gear so we couldn't put it in neutral) unlike some tow services we have previously experienced we had in the past. I would highly recommend them.
