I couldn't start my car one morning last week. AAA dispatched this company to provide battery service. Ha! Service indeed. I was kept waiting 75 minutes. Inexcusable. When the "mechanic" finally arrived, he tested my battery, declared it could hold a charge, and jump started it so I could get to work. Later that same day, my battery was dead again. A service tech from a different company performed the same test, then declared the battery had a dead cell and wouldn't hold a charge at all. He installed a new battery within ten minutes, and I was on my way home. He was polite and professional. Angelo's man was neither of those. He wheezed something about how they were "overwhelmed" with calls that morning. What? Batteries all across Riverside died on the same morning? Nonsense. Please stay away from them. On May 9th 2017 on of their drivers damaged our vehicle pretty badly. He hit and run it after dropping off a truck at a neighbors house through an alley. Three neighbors saw the entire thing and did a testimony for the RPD and my insurance. When I called Angelo's towing to ask if they could check their logs for the drivers information and to ask if they could check their trucks for potential damage... they were extremely rude and uncooperative. The dispatch lady was telling at me even after I remained calm. She told me to wait to speak to their manager the next day. When we went to speak to the manager the next morning he denied the entire thing. Said we 'made it up'. Thank god my attorney and insurance will go after them. This would've been easier on everyone had they cooperated though. P. S. I'm hoping AAA blocks them after our non stop calls about this to them. read more

I had a complete flat down to the rim. Called AAA told them I needed a flat bed because I didn't have a spare and the car was front wheel drive. The driver from Angelo's Towing called me. He asked where I was even though AAA told him... and he asked about my tire even though AAA told him..... I don't think they even listen to dispatch, they just show up. He shows up, asked about a spare... once again didn't listen. I told him I let AAA know I needed a flatbed.... he said none available. Well AAA told you I needed a flatbed.... so you just do whatever or lie to AAA and show up with what you have? This was guy was mad he had to work... had a horrible attitude and asks me if he can fill up my tire with air and see if I can make it to the tire shop..... see if I can make it? Great service. I told him I called you for a tow, I have AAA for a reason and I don't want to see if I can make it..... I want to make it, to the tire shop. He was pissed. Instead of swapping out my front tire for the back tire that is flat... sense the two front tires would be up in the air... he puts on this crap dolly. Let me tell you NEVER USE THIS DOLLY. Even watching him put it on, it never sat properly on my tire. Hold on the story gets real good! While driving, we are flagged down by a driver next to us... and thank god!!!! She says "Hey your flat tire fell off the dolly and is dragging on the ground". The driver says nothing to me in the truck to reassure he will do anything about what the lady tells us. So I ask him if this ok? He says I am going to pull over very rudely. When he pulls over there is no way he didn't see how bad my rim was scratched.... but he puts the dolly back on and it scratches my rim even more. We get to America's Tire and he is pissed when I tell him look at my rim. He gives me a card with Brandon Jensen's name on he is the manager... Nothing has been done as they're independent contractors and must repair their own damages... not AAA. Hi guys still waiting for you to do something about my rim....I am literally going to have to sue in small claims to get them to pay for my rim.... its such crap! Its a $180 Kia Soul Rim.... so imagine if it was a really expensive rim they wouldn't pay for. read more

I called AAA when I ran out of gas. They sent Angelos Towing about 30 mins into the call. The driver refused to give me the gas since he stated that he needed to see the ID. I told him I have the registration, credit cards and other forms of ID. I told him I would get AAA on the phone for him. He quickly left back to his car and took off. I called back their dispatch and they were playing games. AAA had to send a towing company form 3 cities over. And I waited an additional 2 hours on the side of a busy highway. Horrible! I would give them zero star. I called around 5 pm and they gave me a quote for $80 and the wait is about 5 hours. They promised me they would do it tonight. I called around 11 pm and someone rude answer me. He implied that I'm trying to get a towing service for cheap. He specifically says he doesn't care about his customers. These guys are the best! I called AAA because my truck was dead! Couldn't even jump start it! Steven showed up earlier than promised, installed a battery in my truck and was gone before I knew it! On Sunday I was having electrical problems again. My wife's car wouldn't start and the alarm kept going off? I didn't know where to start with that one, so I dialed AAA once again and thankfully Angelo's was dispatched again. This time Benito arrived ahead of schedule. He got my car started, showed me a few tricks with the alarm and gave me some great advise. I was totally satisfied with Steven and Benito. Angelo's is who AAA sends if you have electrical problems in this area so you have no choice. I have had them to my house 3 times in the last year for the same car but this was caused by poor service. In 2019 they responded and replaced the battery. I called them again for the same car a few days ago. They responded and jump started the car. The technician checked the car and told me the battery and charging system were in perfect working order. Unfortunately the battery would not hold a charge. I called again and Andres responded. He said the battery was not good, it was completely dead. He also advised the the technician that responded in 2019 installed the wrong battery for this car. He pointed out how there was space on both sides of the battery in the tray. Perhaps if the technician had installed the right battery in 2019 I would not have had to call in 2020. read more

This business is involved in Predatory Towing. I was illegally towed after being parked for only ten minutes. CA Vehicle Code 22953 states that, "An owner or person in lawful possession of private property that is held open to the public, or a discernible portion thereof, for parking of vehicles at no fee, or an employee or agent thereof, shall not tow or remove, or cause the towing or removal, of a vehicle within one hour of the vehicle being parked." Although I have empirical evidence of when I parked and when I picked up the vehicle from the towing company, both of which happened within 43 minutes, they refused to refund my money. I will be pursuing legal action as this is a case of illegal predatory towing. read more

i called AAA to have my vehicle towed. The first day they told me they would be at my location to pick up my vehicle at 230pm, 4 o'clock came around no call no show no nothing, so I call AAA an they said the service provider wouldn't be there til 5-6pm so I had to reschedule the appointment to the next morning. the next morning I get a call from Angelos saying they can't tow it because it's a work vehicle a small 2010 ford transit connect... I call AAA an they gave Angelo's the ok to do it so Angelos sends a flat bed truck to get the truck an then says they still dont want to do it because it's a commercial vehicle Even tho this vehicle was given an ok to be towed. completely unprofessional and a waste of time read more

Very impressive , The truck arrive within the time limit that was given to me , the driver was very knowledgeable and he was worried about my ride back home as well as my safety, the driver also offered to wait until my ride arrived , Which is very rare to find in towing business , the driver also was very careful hooking up my car, I had placed a call with AAA and Angelo's towing was dispatched to assist me, I do a lot of driving and I drive different cars every time and the chances of my cars breaking down is pretty high, (gas , flat , or small brake downs) in two weeks my car broke down twice. It is pretty good to have AAA roadside assistance , it really helps , it has helped me a lot in my business , I shipped my car from Riverside California to San Diego California , it was 91 miles exact and it did not cost me any extra money because I had a AAA plus membership which I highly recommend , it is only $60 a year but it really pays off, if I had to tow my car back to San Diego without AAA ? it would have cost me at lest $500 , where as this cost me Bailey anything , just the annual membership fee , I am very happy to have AAA roadside assistance , The driver who i forgot to ask his name , I will post his picture , hopefully you can recognize him , I want to say thank you! Hello, just wanted to take the time to thank Isabelle at dispatch and Jesus the tow gentleman who assisted our Mortuary yesterday. Our vehicles are our Top priority and we needed to get one of our funeral coaches transported to be repaired quickly. All it took was one call and within 25-30 mins they were on the job for us. My uncles car needed towing at the worst timing possible, during an appointment at the pet clinic and before his work shift . Immediately after calling for service, the person on the phone quickly responded with a high price within a minute of the phone call. Then proceeded to ask more in detail about our current address and final destination. How can you calculate a price before asking for our location and final destination? Such a rip off. Only giving it two star before the person who arrived w the tow truck was really cool and even apologized on the behalf of the gentleman who gave us the outrageous price. They are on time and some employees have some decency. But the phone call was enough to turn us away as new customers. My uncle wouldn't have been late if the gentleman weren't so quick to spit a price then end the call quickly. Would have saved us a lot of time and energy. read more

ZERO STARSSSS My car broke down and I contacted AAA for a tow to Shipps corner service center (excellent work) when my car arrived CHRIS he explained he had to manual switch my gears then proceeded to put my car in the parking spot BUT HIT shipps corners trash can attempting to put my car in spot as well as HIT MY CAR on the air pump pole!! AND ATTEMPTED TO PULL OFF ! my boyfriend stopped him and they pushed the car off the pole . If ever you need a tow, I hope this company is the one that comes to help you, especially if the driver is Steven. My tire shredded off the rim and then I found out that I could not access my spare. I called AAA and it was Angelo's and Steven to the rescue!! Steven arrived quickly and assessed the situation, he was polite and friendly and immediately made my stress disappear. He had to really put in the extra work to access the spare and even though it was 96 degrees, never once did he lose is wonderful demeanor. Steven is a professional and such an awesome person!! Angelo's is very lucky to have him as an employee and because of him, I will ALWAYS call Angelo's for any towing or roadside need and I will recommend them to everyone I know!
