They are such nice and caring people and they are making such a difference in our mother's time in hospice. The agency is very organized with Camille doing all of the scheduling and immediately getting back to us with any questions or requests. The caretakers are taking notes about everything that happens on the shift, including interactions, food, and medicine given. They are fantastic keeping in touch constantly and checking in to make sure that we are happy with the personnel and letting us know the names and times ahead of time. Times like these are very trying and stressful and Saint Jude Cares really do care and really do make a very positive difference.

My mom just turned 93, living independently all these years. Life can change overnight. After the…read morelast two months, she was faced with a heart problem, and then fractured her pelvic bone. I found Mark at the California State Department of Aging site. Within a DAY, ALLWAYS took action and care was immediate. Mark & team has helped our family immensely. I don't know how I could have given my Mom the care we received, if it weren't for Jackie, her caregiver. She was also very instrumental in "transitioning" my Mom in a way that she was more open to assisted living and care than ever before. Jackie's compassion, attention to detail, experience and professionalism turned my Mom's caregiver into a trusted friend. Jackie tag teamed with me to guide my Mom and educate her so that she herself, independently, made the right decision for herself. She was not only my Mom's "right hand" person--but mine as well. She is now going to move into a wonderful facility (I was referred to a great "broker" from Mark, too) and her worries are over. She is no longer afraid to be alone at night, and has someone within her reach in minutes. She had used them for one of her own family members, and had a great experience. My initial experience with Cheri was very good, they were very responsive to my initial call, and were able to meet with me at a time convenient for me, very considerate of my time limitations with all that was going on at the time. The day my uncle came home, they were right there waiting and willing to help. Over the next 2 1/2 weeks he was home, the caretakers were very loving and attentive. He lived alone, so often it was just him, and the caretakers. For his safety, I had cameras installed, and reviewed them often when I was not able to be there. This is how I know how well they treated him and cared for him. I could see how they took care of him, even when they were alone. And he was lucid, so if something wasn't right, he could tell me. He adored them though, and was very appreciative for their kindness and care. I will mention that there was one caretaker in the beginning that my uncle just didn't seem to click with, so we asked for a replacement and it was granted immediately. As for the management for Circle of Care, Cheri and Genalyn, they were very attentive and always responded quickly with any questions or needs we had. I see now why this company was so highly recommended by my uncle's doctor at UCI. If I had to do it over again, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Lastly--Special shout out to the 2 caretakers who spent the most time with my uncle, Mila and AJ. Thank you both for treating my uncle like family.
