I had a good experience with another agency in my city but the caregiver they provided couldn't move to their OC location. I did a quick search and found Comfort Keepers. It's always nerve-wracking to choose an agency you aren't familiar with, knowing you will be stepping back and letting someone else support your loved one. Having a stranger in your house is something to get used to and not always an easy transition. From the first meet and greet with Karen and Chelsea I walked away feeling that they had a genuine concern for my father, and also my mother, who also would be in the home with him. My father has 7 day a week support and it's made such a difference in his health, wellbeing, and demeanor. He considers his "helpers" as family and hasn't had an odd fit yet. The staff is communicative when there's a sub or a change, and we're able to communicate scheduling updates easily via the phone or their website portal.

My sister, her primary care taker, needed help and CK provided several exceptional care takers which allowed us to keep her at home. Our mother was never very social and didn't have friends prior to getting sick. In the end she found a friend in one of her primary care takers. We really feel like we won the lottery with this company. We found out about them through ALS United Orange County.

Where can I possibly begin?! This organization was highly recommended to me by a senior health…read morecare agency. And I am so grateful they did. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.

I was so lucky as Living Well was the first service I called due to their…read morereviews. In a very timely manner after my initial call, Donata came out and met with Mom and I. She got to know mom, her expectations and personality. And then went over how Living Well could meet our needs. I was highly impressed and immediately could see the compassionate attitude that set the standard for Living Well and their caretakers. Because Donata learned who my mom was, she has been able to precisely align caretakers that work best with Mom. With Donata's tenure in the business she brings a wealth of experience to the table. And I greatly appreciate that whenever I have reached out to her, she gets back with me immediately. She is one of the hardest working women, I know. Living Well has put standards in place where I can always check and see how Mom's daily care is going with each caretaker that comes to the house. The caretakers are lovely ladies that truly are professional, compassionate and kind people that have Mom's best interest always as a priority. I highly recommend Living Well and thank them for giving me peace of mind with Mom's care.
