The pre-cleaning communication and walk-through were great, and their estimate was reasonable for a first-time deep cleaning. They arrived punctually and were incredibly thorough. Their attention to detail was exceptional, as they tackled areas other services have overlooked in the past. This deep cleaning was more thorough than any I have had before. They use pet-friendly products, which is very important to me. Their sense of ownership of the task and the passion, pride, and satisfaction they derive from cleaning well were quite evident. It was clearly more than 'just a job' to them. Because of their attention to detail, the actual scope of the cleaning ended up being more than what was agreed upon in the walk-through. However, they stuck to their original cost estimate and declined the extra payment I offered for the additional work. That is impressive! However, Doug Bockrath was very helpful in picking out the samples. Also, I wanted a new area rug for my family area along with a matching round one for under my breakfast table adjacent to my family area. They did not have a round one, but their in-house crew was able to take a second rug just like the one I purchased and cut it into a round and seamed it along the entire edge. It looks amazing! Kudos to their in-house people that did this. They were fantastic. Lastly, their crew that laid the carpet did a great job matching the seams. We called Dougan's to repair water damage caused by a previous contractor's ineptitude. How we wished after that experience that we had called Dougan's the first time! The Dougan's are meticulous in their work and were extremely sensitive to concerns over dust entering the rest of the house, taking every precaution to block as much of it as possible. Because they were busy with other jobs, we needed to wait for them to be available but when they gave us the start date, they kept to the date and got the work done within the period of time promised. Overall, very pleased with their work and strongly recommend them!
