I had them do both of the used cars I bought and they lasted me forever with regular maintenance. In my experience everyone that works in this facility is honest, fair, they want to help people and they want them to be safe. This is the first and ONLY mechanic shop that I have been to as a woman where I wasn't treated like I was a dunce or less than. The employees here explain things in a way of informing you not persuading you or intimidating you with fear that if you don't complete the job something extraordinarily bad is going to happen. They give you realistic expectations on how much more you can drive until you need to really get it done which helps people that are on a budget. I think the prices are higher on average but the amount of service, attention, and thoroughness you get the price is very fair! I recommend this place to everyone I know especially women because I know how important it is to feel safe with mechanics and not like they are trying to get over on you! I've had my share of bad experiences but never with Christian Brothers! They truly exemplify the name!

I also got a courtesy car or courtesy ride home so much better than my other experiences. The techs have never tried to up-sell me services my cars do lot need. That's a big deal for shops like this where the fast oil change is often the loss leader to get you into the shop and sell you more lucrative services. For that reason I warily trust their techs and writers. I hope to find a regular shop for routine maintenance and repairs on my two late-model cars. I am, however, concerned whether they have qualified mechanics to perform that work. I know a little about this industry and they may have good mechanics or they may have only "technicians" given bare and inadequate training. Even if they have credentialed mechanics, do they pay well enough to keep the good ones or do they get the bottom of their tech-school classes? Again, I do not know whether this place has good, experienced mechanics and it might, but I would be careful and selective about agreeing to something other than the most basic maintenance tasks until they earn my trust.

So I've been at this location twice:…read more First time, my friend needed a tire pressure check. We were able to get in asap. We had the manager I believe and the manager double-checked to make sure there wasn't a leak or hole in our tire. We didn't have to pay for this service and it was great! Now the second time, another friend and I went for an oil change and a tire rotation. They gave my friend a quote, which was kinda high. I happened to notice the previous sticker in my friend's car and the car still had 2000 miles. So, I insisted on having them check the oil before charging for an oil change. They checked and said the oil change wasn't necessary. It makes me question though if they would've still charged and changed the oil despite it being okay. So, we wait in the lobby for the tire rotation. 20 minutes pass by. We see the car is docked with one guy in the bay. My friend went to ask how much time left. They had not yet started on the car and said that apparently we weren't told there was a car in front of us. We ended up being there for 45 minutes to an hour, which I realize doesn't seem long for a tire rotation wait but don't forget the namesake of the business "Express." We get the car back. When we sit in the car, we notice the wheel lock key was just placed in the cup holder. We had to go back and ask for the bag it came in bc they forgot to give it back. After driving for about 20 minutes, we see the tire pressure light come on. We call the company while on the road. I asked if they checked the tire pressure. They admitted that they forgot. I asked to speak to a manager bc after the long wait and the light coming on it was upsetting. The manager said that they asked the tech a few other questions and distracted the guy from completing our tire rotation correctly. I must admit I am confused about it bc the manager said they have a second person come and check. The manager said that the tires must be just 1-2 psi lower and to pull off the road somewhere and add air. The manager offered to look up places but that wouldn't have been helpful bc we were actively driving. The manager didn't offer any additional or free services but simply "ppl make mistakes." I agree which is why they get 3 stars but after the wait, poor communication, and additional time to find a new place to check the tire pressure it was a lot. Patient loaded with a low tire just looking for a tire pressure and wasn't acknowledged or treated fairly. I came across the street here and was taken care of quickly by Quentin and Lashon great guys had me in and out with a smile. I am a tire technician with myself have owned my own tire shop and know what it takes to help people even on the bad days. I appreciate these two gentlemen great service.

We waited 20 minutes just to pull in, before anyone even touched the vehicle. One of the bays was closed with no explanation, which clearly bottlenecked everything. Whatever the reason, the result was a line that crawled and zero communication about the holdup. For a place built around being quick, this was the opposite. Won't be back. UPDATE: I left after 35 minutes without ever getting my car serviced--and then had to wait another 5 minutes just so one of the slowest-moving "workers" (using that term loosely) could wipe the paint marker off my windshield that they'd put there in the first place. Laziest crew I've seen in a long time. Never again.

We had already paid for everything two days prior. Stanley, the general manager, told us he would call us back the next day, but we never heard from him. When we came in today, Brian told us again it would be 30-45 minutes. The car wasn't even started for about an hour and a half, and then we were told there was an issue getting a part off that wasn't mentioned until much later. They ended up having to take the car across the street to finish the job. When we brought up how far off the time estimate was, we were told by Brian that "I don't get compensation for doing the job in this heat, so you can take that up with Stanley" and handed the keys and showed us the door. Overall, the communication and timing were way off, and the way it was handled felt unprofessional and frustrating. I would not be returning to this location due to the lack of respect, honesty about timing, and the rude attitude from employees when we asked simple questions about what was going on.

Some could not see me for days. While others wanted to charge me a $250 diagnostic (plug the meter and read the coded problems) fee. Carolina Auto Service said they would get the codes for free if I agreed to fix anything they would get compensated. I feel I was treated respectfully. I got to review to identified problems as well as sign off on the repairs with a known Fee amount. I will use this car care company for my future repair needs!
