I was craving tacos the evening of Fourth of July after the long day being in the park I remember this spot however it was a different vendor. This vendor Angels Tijuana tacos they're located on the corner of Mason and Devonshire in the city of Chatsworth border. So what was so unique about this taco stand was that the line starts from the right when the first person that you come in contact with is someone who's making the flower tortillas made to order then depending on what kind of meat you want on your tacos, it's moved down the line and you tell the person making the tacos. What kind of meat you want I had Carne Asada Tacos and they had 3 different types of hot sauces, from A mild to a hot. $3.75 each Taco Bell. Well worth it. A must try. No over head no rent to pay. There's many taco spots in San Fernando Valley, but this is ranked pretty high up there however they didn't have any chairs or tables for you to sit down but you're able to sit in your car park in front of it. It's in the parking lot of the Vons market, but I do have to say these three employees did a fantastic job and moving the line through. read more

The workers are so rude! I went to go buy food at the states open time and they were still not ready i waited the 20min the ride cashier told me they needed once i went to place my order they proved to tell me it would be another 20min for Potato's. The cashier knew I was waiting for potato's and didn't even bother to tell me the actual wait time he just ignored me and the few times I got him to respond to my question he was rude. I finally tried these tacos at the WhatsUp SCV food truck event in Santa Clarita. The tacos looked delicious so I got 8 The pastor was delicious, one of the best pastor tacos I've ever had. The chicken was also very tasty with a bit of charring on the meat, which I liked. The asada was good, not great and was a bit salty. My favorite part of the taco was the tortillas (hecho de mano), they were thin but still has great flavor. The guacamole was also delicious and perfect consistency. I tried these tacos at 805 market in October and they were SO good that when I was in the valley I went again. welp. The staff was friendly but the food...I was so disappointed. The carne asada was SO SALTY that it was NOT edible. I thought at first it was the guacamole but I bit in go a regular taco and nope! It was the meat. I went up to the staff to Let them know and they said they do not marinate the meat at their spot, that it just gets sent like that. Having an Angel's in Chatsworth is great... Not too far a drive from Northridge mall or CSUN. We went one late Thursday night and the line was short as they were within an hour of closing up for the night. We got asada tacos ($2.50), al pastor tacos ($2.50), asada queso tacos ($3.50), asada burritos ($10), asada vampiros ($4.50) and al pastor loaded potato ($15). They were are really good and everyone was satisfied. The al pastor was full of flavor and a perfect bite with that pineapple. The asada was tasty in the burrito. You can never go wrong with that. Service was quick, friendly and we will for sure come back again when in the area. Love their salsas (green for me), the red is for those that can handle waay more than I can. Ha! I also like how they have agua frescas too. Pineapple for me, horchata for my cousins. The loaded potato is insanely huge and packed with so much food. Located just outside the parking lot where Vons & Wells Fargo are at the intersection of Mason & Devonshire. There are a couple of tables if you want to eat there which we did. Or most people post up by their cars just beyond the property wall of the parking lot. The time we went, they were posted up at the Devonshire side of that intersection. Safe to say this location serves what know and love about Angels and if this is your first time, Bomb Tacos, quesadillas, queso tacos, mulitas, burritos, vampiros, etc. DO ORDER THE AL PASTOR! Same people, same great food, but different spot. This is my go-to spot for Mexican street tacos. Till this day, I still haven't been disappointed. On 12/3/2025, I ordered two asada burritos with cheese. Each burrito costs $12, and extra cheese is $2 each. The burritos were expensive and tasted just okay, nothing special. Maybe because I'm not Mexican, the customer service didn't feel welcoming. Customers aren't allowed to serve their own salsa or raw onion and cilantro; the staff does it for you. I asked for a bit more raw onion, but the staff gave me an extra scoop of salsa instead. Meanwhile, the grilled onions and pickled onions are available for customers to take themselves. For the price I paid, and not being allowed to add salsa and onions on my own, I won't be returning. Good luck with your business. read more

The staff argued with me over my order and gave me the wrong meat when I advocated that they had gotten it wrong before they had served it. Just ate a Al Pastor burrito from this spot and it was great! Love the touch of pineapple. And the Al pastor was super tasty and wasn't dry at all. If anyone wants to know this place is legit and even has their permit and they are right outside the Vons lot. Not a big menu but a menu big enough to hit the spot. Just be clear when you order, their English isn't that good but the service is great. Just make sure you're using your fingers to point at what you want on your items and you'll be fine. The tortillas are fresh and homemade drinks were good but a little pricey. I like the El pastor and the carne asada. The mild sauce is spicier than the regular mild sauce you get in restaurants. The line gets really long after 7pm. Great location and plenty of parking space. The servers are nice but some don't speak English. I come here at least twice a month. The cabesa, asada and chicken tacos are all amazing. What's consistently not amazing is the Customer Service. Specifically, the lady making the tortillas on the weekends. I've attempted reaching out to them via Instagram in private with no follow up. I'm not looking for compensation, discounts or anything for free. In fact, I've made it clear that I don't even want this person fired. But as a business, having someone not acknowledge returning customers is just bad business practice. The fact the behavior is consistently bad means it hasn't been addressed. I have passed this pop up taco stand numerous times and only savored its stimulating aromas from its charcoal grill and barbecue spit. This is Angel's Tacos and it is located on Mason, just south of Devonshire in Chatsworth. They serve a variety of tacos and burritos, containing either chicken, beef or pork. What blew me away was the high level of freshness, and cleanliness, for stand along a busy street. The tortillas are made fresh, right there, you can watch them flatten out the dough, then cook it on the grill. The chicken and steak is made fresh on a charcoal grill and a barbecue spit shows off the pork. The meat is stored in carefully covered containers. The toppings include salsa rojo, salsa verde, avocado crema and finely chopped cube shaped onions with cilantro. There is also rice and pinto beans. There are several complimentary accompaniments, that include grilled jalapeños and onions. Also freshly cut cucumbers, radishes and pickled onions. I got two carne asada tacos with all the toppings and a side of beans. All this cost me only $7. The steak melted in my mouth and had a robust grilled flavor. The mixtures of salsas combined with the onions provided the perfect tang and crunch. Generally, taco places give you two tortillas to hold the taco. It has the advantage of holding the contents, un punctured, while you eat. Here you get only one tortilla per taco. I really like that, even though the tortilla can fracture half way, because now you are immersed completely, in the uncontaminated texture and taste of the meat itself. The beans were excellent. I also thoroughly enjoyed all the accompaniments. The service is prompt, highly professional and very friendly. One needs to admire how hard these vendors work to make good good and a living. We need to patronize and support these small food stands, as often as we can. So glad I finally made it here. And I will be going back soon, to try their other offerings. They are open 4:30 pm to midnight daily, except Mondays. read more

It's been a miss these past couple times, I'm a sucker for good tacos and angels in north Hollywood used to be the spot. That's why I was delighted to hear they were coming to my side of town. Unfortunately it's not the same. Not even the workers are happy here, they are super rude! Not happy to be serving their product! Anyway, the Al Pastor which is pork cooked on the spit has been the Allstar for a couple of years but I think it's coming to an end. Pig has been super fatty like chunks of fat are meddled in the meat and you have no option but to spit it out.
