Haven't left a 1 star review in a while but wow this was just not good in any way. I'll usually go to a taco truck when I'm craving tacos but I have been wanting to try this place as I drive by it often. So much regret. So I ordered over the phone for pickup. When I got to the restaurant it was crap parking, and not inviting at all inside. But I kept a positive attitude and got instead, no greeting from the girl. I smiled and said hi to the girl working and she literally just stared at me with the coldest face. I paid for my food and said thank you and again not a smile, not a wave, nothing from anyone. Okay so most important - the food. Firstly, I got the asada fries. The fries were cooked decent but there was just no flavor at all. It also was cold and clumpy as if it'd been sitting a while which was odd bc I got there 10 min after ordering and ate it no more than 10 min later. Then I got 2 plain asada tacos for my kids - so dry and over cooked. The tortillas over powered the meat for all of the tacos, very thick and just not good. And the asada meat was like the end meat in a party tray, just all the burnt bits. Then I got pastor tacos, these weren't as dry but didn't taste like typical pastor tacos. Not impressive but probably the better out of the entire order. Which isn't saying much. Lastly and most upsettingly, it was raining today so I was craving some Birria tacos. Which is what I ordered for myself. When I got them it was not Birria. I asked the girl and she said it's Barbacoa which is the same thing. It was not the same thing. The meat was again super dry, not saucy at all, and just stuck in between regular dry tortillas. Such a letdown. Not one of these dishes had flavor, like not even salt, and the 2 salsa options were very basic also. Definitely will not go back. Also the radishes to go were not fresh in the slightest. read more

Happy to see a new approach in customer service. Everyone is now engaged as you come in eager to serve you and make sure you are immediately attended to. I ordered a burrito de lengua to be prepared in a certain way, and OMG, they delivered exactly as I asked. Very pleased with the taste and attention to detail with multiple checks to ensure the food was as I expected. I DoorDash my order yesterday and it was picked up at 2:54pm. The food I ate was bad, instantly made me vomit, it smelled rotten. I called the restaurant yesterday to ask for my refund back, since I have pictures of me not eating all of the food. Maria Mendoza and the person I spoke with today at 9:15am stated they don't know English but running a restaurant and hangs up on me. Everyone says there is no manager at the store. My son and I were in the neighborhood and hungry for lunch. Found this little hole in the wall. Absolutely loved our choice. We each ordered 2 tacos, he ended up ordering 2 more. The meat was tender and free of fat. There is nothing worse then biting into a taco with fat and chewy meat. They kept it clean and flavorful. They charge u 75 cents per sour cream that you want on your taco. That's freaken insane. I did the $7.99 3 taco special with a drink and they charged an extra $2.25 for the sour cream. That's a whole taco right there. I definitely won't be coming back . read more

Loved the place until they put the white guy at the front counter. He's of course arrogant and has no customer service. I ordered a burrito mojado + tacos and a regular burrito, paying over $60. I took my food happily. When I was leaving I realized the bag containing my burrito mojado was leaking its sauce and it leaked all over my Pink SKIMS sweater. I was shocked it was all over me, and my belongings. Panicking I spilled my drink accidentally. Yes the drink was my fault. The bag was ripped from the edge of the plastic container. So I walked back inside the store to get a refill and yes I was extremely frustrated that the red sauce from the burrito just ruined my sweatshirt. So I began to explain to the guy what freak accident happened. Instead of being sympathetic of course he immediately goes to asking me how was the bag ripped and assuming I did it on purpose. I brought a dollar in with me and I did set it on the counter. He then said you don't need to throw your dollar at me. Acting as if I was crazy and didn't hear anything I said then proceeded to act as if I was in the wrong and continued acting extremely offended, never once did I request my food to be remade or my money back or my drink to be refilled for free. But some human decency would've been nice. You definitely won't get that from a place like this. The food is hella hit or miss. Super inconsistent. The food is simple, freshly made, and very reasonably priced. They also get your food out in a reasonable amount of time despite having a steady stream of customers. I've gone to other places for the same thing where it takes forever and doesn't taste any better to be worth the wait. Downsides: parking lot is crowded/small so you may have to park on the street creating a slight walk, .50 fee to pay with a card, and horchata tastes like it came from a machine. The lady taking the orders very rude, her face looks very annoyed when greeting the guests and taking the orders no energy whatsoever. And the man inside making the food very disrespectful, they watch you taking sauce and the sauce containers very tiny berly any sauce in there and when grabbing like 2 extra was approached and told that I will be charged for grabbing a extra sauce. No Mexican restaurant I ever been to has ever felt the need to approach and tell you about the sauce. Cause if that's the case they need to have a sauce policy displayed in front of the sauce bar or pre packaged the sauces. Overall very unwelcoming experience. Not friendly, not welcoming atmosphere. The closest traditional Mexican restaurant to my house and they have really good food here, from the red wet burrito, to their tacos, al pastor and asada are fire!! Birria, also have hardshell tacos here.. Quesadillas for the kids they always love it. Convenient location and open until 10pm.. They renovated the inside pretty quick moving the cashier from the left side to the middle and adding more tv's behind the register on top of the wall, looks like they're doing good! The portion was great and ratio for ingredients was also very satisfying. The only downside was their salsas weren't too flavorful or hot so I ended up eating it with some cholula instead. First time here, and ordered 1 bean cheese burrito and 1 large frutas drink. The price was too high for me especially since the burrito is extremely small. The beans are not refried, there whole beans. There was a lot of tortilla instead of beans and cheese. Beans tasted old, not fresh. Frutas drink was watered down. UPDATE: WOW! You should see this place! they updated it, it looks like a completely different restaurant. More tables,more room. The Menu on the walls and the New Video Screen just makes this place look fantastic. You really have to see what they have done its very nice.They have added a few new menu items as well. I as usual get the Nachos and a few tacos and add a little in the tip jar because they are so nice and have such a nice business. Man they loaded the nachos and the Tacos were delicious. Without a doubt, the service is top notch, I intentionally got kind of picky when ordering some tacos, and the staff definitely went out of their way to make sure my order was placed and served correctly. However, the food, was a different issue. The tacos while properly fried, where still soggy in the middle, and there was definitely a lack of meat on both ends (first bite had no meat but pure tortilla). Flavor wise it was good but nothing spectacular. I'll definitely be coming back to try more things on their menu and hopefully I wont have to edit my review. read more
