You pull up your car, tell them the problem, and they make a quick convenient fix for way cheaper than a dealer or franchised auto shop. I went a while back to Angels Tire Shop to ask how much he charges to fix a flat and the son of the owner of the tire shop told me that he charges $35 and that he accepts payments by zelle. I told him 35 is too much to fix a flat. I went to Willie's Tire Shop in Pilsen. Willie's was only charging $20 to fix a flat tire. Angels tire shop are ripping off people. I don't really recommend angels, honestly. I recommend Willie's tire shop. Trust me all the employees at Willie's are awesome, very patient , very cool and respectful. They also do a great job. I went here out of desperation as I had a completely FLAT tire that I was not able to change due to a stripped lug nut and was not going to make it anywhere else. I was charged 60 dollars(he wanted to charge me 65) for an old and used tire. I had paid 50 for the one I had on which was in way better condition than the one he sold me . One of my tires was losing air fast & I was calling places to see if they could fix it before the huge winter storm coming but none of them could. Then I remembered seeing this tire place with fun lights on my drives home and they were able to get me in and fixed my tire in less than 20 mins.. truly a lifesaver!!! While headed to the VA for a Dr appointment, my tire light came on at 18th and western. That terrible viaduct was under construction at 18st so I turned east bound to check the tire. I thought to myself ( their had to be a tire shop near here) so I took a chance a drove on the tire. Sure enough, a block away, was Angel's tire shop . As I pulled up the tire mechanic greeted me and immediately inspected and removed the tire. The mechanic returned a few minutes later and informed me I had damaged to the side wall , the next question was whether I wanted a new or used tire. I went with a used tire for eighty bucks. The problem was, I didn't have cash, so the mechanic changed the tire and allowed me to run to the ATM. I had to leave my phone but i really didn't care. I returned minutes later with the loot plus tip, he deserved it, plus he said " come back if u have a problem ". I definitely come back to this business, no doubt!!! read more

I really wanted to support this place because I know it's a family business and we're in a pandemic, but you should avoid this place like the plague. I Told him what size tire I needed. He pretty much shuffled around looking for one for 20 minutes and then had the nerve to tell me I needed to be patient. He ensured me he had a matching size, then lied to my face about it. I didn't realize till 4 days later that he used a way bigger tire that doesn't actually fit on my car and has it off balance now. Avoid this place at all cost. I had a nail or screw stuck in my tire and I did NOT want to buy a new one so I YELPED tire shops and this one popped up. They do a fine job at plugging up your tire. I could not believe how fast this guy took care of it. I didn't even take my tiny one out of the car. Seriously, I pulled up, peeked inside and the guy came out and in less than ten minutes had plugged up my tire. It cost about 25$ which I swear I have paid 15$ at other places but I was desperate and the speed at which he worked was def worth it. On Friday, January 12, 2018, my tires needed air according to the low tire pressure indicator on my dashboard. Before heading to the this tire shop....i get out of my vehicle to check all my tires to make sure i didn't have a flat. None of the tires even looked low on air so i drove to the tire shop. After checking and putting air in all tires...the guy tells me that one of my tires was really really low on air and that it would cost $35 to "fix" it. I asked "so you're telling me it's bad and needs fixing?" He says yes. I said "well all i have is $20 in cash. Do you accept debit or credit?." He says "no. But i can fix it for you now. Then you can leave your i.d with me and go get the rest of the money and ill give you back your i.d after you pay me." I then tell him "no. that's ok. I'll be back with the money." I didn't feel right about the whole situation so i decided not to go back. Good thing i didn't! Since then i must have done about 15 hours of driving for lyft. My son used it a few times and i went back and forth to berwyn with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! And today is Tuesday. I originally thought about going to the tire shop on 21st & western but because there was a minor traffic accident and a police car was slightly blocking the drive way....i figured i would just completely avoid that area. And i figure i would give my business to Angel's ture shop because of 3 reasons. 1. My son use to go to school with one of his children. 2. They have always been very nice. 3. They are a family owned business. But because of this i will never go back there. I informed my family not to go there anymore either. In my dealings with Angel's it's mostly been a story of a place that is trying to survive by replacing bad tires with slightly less worn out tires instead of offering a type of plan for getting your car back in shape. I had a car with bad rims that had rim rashes all over, instead of inspecting the rims to see if the damage could be fixed or might need to be replaced, he just told me I needed new rims no matter what so might as well start there. I instead am ordering replacement rims and tires and will not be using him as my tire person going forward. read more

I was refilling my tire every three or four days and decided it was time to take it in for a patch. These guys are not conspicuous at all and take a bit of looking for, but once you spot them, it is well worth it. I pulled up to the curb and was met immediately by a man with a jack. He heard my need, jacked up the car, removed the tire, patched it, and got us back on the road in ten minutes max. All for $10!! I'll be back for some used tires too.
