Sachiko-san was everso helpful and patient in determining the type of floral arrangement I want created for my aunt's upcoming 100th birthday. There was one floral arrangement type that I saw on their website that I liked, but Sachiko-san was gracious and honest in letting me know that the budding flowering branches used was not in season but can substitute with stick-forms. She provided text photos as well as photos of another design that was more appealing in capturing the specialness for this milestone occasion. The 4 stars was due to the time where I was trying to coordinate an in-person consultation per her request and a final review where she wouldn't be responsive via email and this was likely due to both the wedding season and sudden sickness at times. Luckily, I had a wedding planner who made me understand that she's a master at her craft and may not have been as quick with administrative tasks. This is just a caution for those who may expect quick responsiveness in the middle of wedding season if they're planning outside of that timeframe. However, the wait was worth it on the day of the wedding! Our photographer and hair stylist loved the bouquet especially, and everyone loved the variety of centerpieces that complimented the theme of the venue. I hired Sachiko to make a small wedding bouquet for a very intimate courthouse wedding on 8/23. I sent a picture a week before and received an estimate of $100. The ceremony was at 9 am and an hour away so she offered to open earlier which was so nice of her & I truly appreciated. A few days before she called to ask about certain flowers which I explained I wasn't being picky on having particular flowers, I really was only focusing on having bright pink colors with blush tones as the ones in the photo I sent her. Fast forward to the day of the event, I arrived at 7am only to be extremely disappointed. The bouquet was not what I was hoping to see. Now I understand it wasn't going to look exactly like the photo I sent, but the flowers were mostly purple and the bouquet wasn't cohesive...when I asked for bright/blush tone pink colors. The bouquet also had so much bushy greenery I couldn't walk out with it looking like that. I do have to say the gentleman was very nice and understanding when I explained I wasn't happy with it. I showed it to him and he said he would have to go to a warehouse to get more flowers which I did appreciate. Now mind you, I had to be somewhere by 9 and it was 7 so I told him it was fine because I had a little time to spare. He comes back 30 minutes later and the bouquet looked exactly the same!! All he did was add to small lighter pink roses, but it only made it worse because they looked so out of place. I then again explained that all the flowers were still dark and purple and at this point it was 7:45 and I needed to go so I just wanted him to make it all pink before I left. He said he had to make another trip to the warehouse which was 15 minutes away so he would try to find something for me. I became so stressed at this point and anxious because I didn't want to be late. He came back right before 8 with a box of flowers which would have helped had he done that in the first place. I ended up having to actually make the bouquet myself. I told him to get rid of all the purple flowers because they didn't mix well with the roses and had to tell him to mix the roses so they could blend. Also had to tell him how much greenery to put so that it wouldn't look "bushy". In the end it wasn't what I wanted. The bouquet was just a dozen pink assorted roses which I paid $100 for...what a rip off! read more
