I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement from Mitsuko and I was so pleased with it! I had called in the order around noon and asked if she could make an arrangement and deliver it that same day to a friend in Torrance. I thought it might be a long shot since I was calling last minute, but she was very willing to make it happen! I had a specific arrangement that I saw on their website and wanted to order, but she said they didn't have all of the flowers for it. She said she could make something "close" to it for $75 plus $15 delivery + tax. Sounded good to me! I asked if she could send me a photo of the arrangement after she made it, and she did! Francois and Mitsuko were so easy to work with. Sent them inspiration pictures (majority from their yelp and Instagram) along with some photos of what we really did not like. We needed a lei and bouquet for our elopement. At pickup I felt my bouquet had a lot less greenery than I wanted (asked for a 50/50 ratio) and Mitsuko was kind enough to add more greenery to look like the inspiration photos I sent in. We eloped in Santa Barbara and picked up the bouquet and lei the morning before our drive up, they made sure to make sure everything was secure for our drive and gave us detailed instructions on how to store them overnight so they would be fresh and beautiful for the next morning. Pricing was very fair and I would even venture to say on the lower end of "standard" pricing. read more

My college friends and I started zooming when we went to shelter in place. We started celebrating each other's birthdays and hanging out for hours on zoom. Several continents, multiple countries and time zones but we make it work. In June, one of our friends in Carson, CA is celebrating her birthday and we decided to surprise her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers before our zoom call. I went on Yelp and started looking for a local florist. Many have 4-5 stars reviews but I didn't like the arrangements and designs uploaded. Many resembled arrangements I can get at grocery stores. The flower choices where ordinary at best. This is how I stumbled upon Mitsuko Floral. Her designs and flower choices stood out for me. Her bouquets elevated the occasion and made it very special. My friends favorite color is purple and she captured that theme very well even just from the phone conversation. Customer service was great over the phone. She answered when I called to order. She sent me a text when she delivered the flowers with the picture of the bouquet. Most importantly, my friend was very happy with the bouquet and we got to enjoy it during our zoom call. The one thing I cannot review is the freshness of the flowers and how long they lasted. It was also particularly very hot the time she delivered the arrangement. Overall, mission accomplished. It was a Jewish wedding and the flowers on the chuppah, the bridal canopy, were exquisite as were all of the bouquets and centerpieces. I was panicking looking for an orchid lei necklace for my son's graduation last Sunday. Luckily, I found Mitsuko Floral through Yelp that Friday night and was able to order two orchid leis. I brought to the meeting a couple Pinterest photos, none of which was exactly what I wanted because I was going for a combination or variation of it. Honestly I wasn't sure if I explained myself well but not only was Mio patient, she completely understood what I was going for and also had wonderful recommendations and options. I also didn't know much about flowers but she guided me through the process. She was also very transparent about costs and even helped me find ways to meet my budget! I entrusted them fully as they were not out to get me to pay up the wazoo, they absolutely did not try to upsell me which I very much respected. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I reached out to a couple florists and if you don't already know, you can really blow up your budget with florists and a lot of them ask for high minimums. That was not the case with Mistuko Florals I also planned this during covid and even had to postpone my wedding. They were always understanding and accommodating which made a stressful time so much easier. When I had to drop off the vases prior to the day I met Francois and Mio who were absolutely sweethearts. Especially during that time, flowers were in high demand and low stock because weddings were picking back up. Even with that hurdle they completely blew it out of the water. I don't know what magic powers Mio and her team have but wow....pure talent! On the day I was absolutely stunned by the results (if I haven't said that enough already lol) and so were my guests. I heard endless compliments and when we told guests they could bring centerpieces home, they were all immediately gone. I've been to weddings where some centerpieces get left behind but they were snatched up so quickly that I never even got to keep some of my own.
