I cannot say thank you enough to Angie Hernandez for turning me into a Bridal Glamazon on the most important day of my life! Angie was my bridal makeup and hair artist and I can honestly say, without a doubt that I've never looked better or felt that spectacular in my whole life! I've always known the way you look will accentuate the way you feel, and I felt more gorgeous and irresistible than Miss Marilyn Monroe on my wedding day! Angie runs a first-class makeup studio, in Tustin. Her studio is absolutely incredible! She has all the bells and whistles you'd find at a high end makeup studio. Our first meeting (my bridal trial) was preformed here and the outcome was phenomenal! I warned Angie previous to my bridal trial that I am so fair, that even some of the most elite makeup companies cannot match my skin tone. And to top that off, I have very sensitive skin. She assured me that I'd look gorgeous, and boy was she right! I took a bridesmaid to the trail as an extra set of eyes and the both of us were completely blown away at the flawless match and coverage. Angie did such an unbelievable job with my makeup and hair that my bridesmaid booked that night as well. The results I received from her services were beyond all expectations and were worth more than the money I spent! You know those moments, where words aren't enough, but you have a profound understanding with just a look or a touch? I received lots of those double hand squeezes from the ladies and plenty of winks from the men and that special grin a loved one gives you when you've done right. Both my mother and now mother-in-law shed their fair share of tears, my bridesmaids we're in deep aw, and my now husband first word was: "WOW!" followed by that endless longing love stare. That day I didn't hear 'you look pretty', that day I heard 'you look fabulous, glamorous, beautiful, stunning, and breathtaking!' My bridal makeup and hair were finished by 8am, and I looked picture perfect well in to the wee hours of the next morning. I was absolutely floored that I could be photographed from 8am until well after 1am and still look like a million bucks! Also, her cosmetics did not irritate my sensitive skin, and they photographed perfectly! Angie is a perfectionist, and it shows in her work. She literally treats you like her masterpiece. Never fear, she will make sure you are perfect down to the last eyebrow hair! She truly has impeccable talent and the right tools to get the job done flawlessly! If I could give Angie more than 5 stars I would! She is well deserving of a 10 star 5 diamond rating! We had a wonderful time chatting and joking during the bridal (wedding day) makeover which really helped settle my nerves. She gave me ceremony tips and even helped me out with the how to's of the big day, like who is supposed to lift your veil. I was the bride and I already had my own hair and makeup reserved and paid for, but I had a few bridesmaids and sponsors coming in from out of town that needed hair and makeup and I found Angie and loved her portfolio. I have had the pleasure of having Angie's makeup and photography services, and both are the best I've ever experienced. As a high school student Angie was the one who took my senior photo's for the reason that I didn't just want a picture with a cap and gown, I was looking for pictures that in years to come I can look back at and see myself as that high school student I was. Previously before starting the photo shoot Angie suggested that I try some make-up to give more color to my cheeks and lips, but I told her how I didn't know how to apply makeup so she took the time to give me a make-up lesson and help me look beautiful and feel comfortable wearing makeup. What I liked best about the make-up lesson is that she is very professional and knows exactly what products and colors to use to complement my skin color and good for my skin. Through the lesson Angie also gave me great advice of little tricks and tips to use, and to this day I still use them. She definitely takes the time to listen to what it is you want, the look you're going for and made me feel so comfortable that I had such a great time. After my senior photo's I went back to Angie's services for another photo shoot, this time just for individual photo's to have of myself while in college and again Angie's talent with make-up and photography was the best. I loved the way my pictures turned out, my friends and family loved them and my makeup lasted me the entire day, without having to retouch at all! (She uses the best products!) Angie is absolutely AMAZING!!! I found her by luck when I searched for make up artists in the South OC area and I'm so happy I did. I wanted to find someone to teach me how to apply makeup correctly. No offense to those ladies in the mall but I wanted the right makeup for me, not just what was on sale or that brand. Angie and communicated a few times about what I was looking for and ultimately we met at Sephora to do some shopping. She found perfect shades and brands, always keeping in mind what my lifestyle and wants were. She also helped decide what products I already had that would still work for me. After shopping we did the makeup lesson. She did part and had me do part until I was comfortable with it. She took before, during and after photos and made the whole process a lot of fun. After we finished she sent me a step-by-step guide based on my products as well as some of the photos she took. Then a few days later she checked in to see how it was going and did I have any questions. What more can you ask for? Most of us have used makeup most of our adult lives but that doesn't mean we use it the best way for ourselves and Angie will show you how. I wanted a natural look and I don't usually like the feel of makeup but what she found for me is great and natural. On top of her skills with makeup Angie is truly a very nice, fun person. I scheduled an appointment with Angie to do my hair/makeup/and take family photos. We scheduled our appointment for 11AM, and Angie was prompt and even brought us some snacks for the day because she knew we would have a long shoot and since I have a 2 year old son, I thought that was a great idea on her part. She came to my home and brought everything she needed, I couldn't believe how organized and professional she was! We got started with hair and then did makeup in natural light, by the time I could finally see myself I was blown away! My husband loved the look and my 2 year old even told me I looked beautiful:) Then it was off to the park for our family photos and we had a great time just interacting with each other while Angie took the photos, we had some great poses that she recommended as well and the day was very easy going and relaxed. We even color coordinated which was another one of Angie's recommendations and I feel like we looked great together and complemented each other so well. I can not say enough good things about the beautiful & sweet, Angie. Angie was very receptive and flexible to meet with me for my hair trial on such short notice before my wedding. Once we met I felt instantly comfortable in her care. She has a great personality and by the end of the trial I felt as if I was with a friend. She gave me great advice about the type of hair piece would go great with my hair style and dress. I was very excited when i left my trial and then the day of the wedding came! Angie was punctual and ready to get to work as soon as she arrived, again she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed before the start of the big day.
