Kelly is such a sweet person and working with her was great. I wanted a HMUA who knows how to work with Asian features and she delivered! Since I wasn't used to professional makeup, I actually felt unsure with my makeup trial result, but she assured me that it would look fine in professional photos (updo turned out amazing). Kelly was patient with my feedback and made note of my preferences while I tried to explain what I was looking for, including sending inspo pics. On wedding day, Kelly and Uyen arrived on time and they made the morning hair and makeup sesh stress-free. Kelly was able to make an updo that was everything I think of when I think bride. And then my makeup on top of that lasted through a night of ratchet-ness in WeHo. That's some sturdy make up! When my second trial with another artist was nearing, I suddenly wasn't excited to go. I wasn't as eager to see how dolled up they can make me or really care to go meet them. After searching up for make-up quotes and reading reviews, I am overall very happy that I booked with Kelly. She responded promptly through email and the communication was fine throughout the process. She and her team were on time on the day of the wedding and everything was fine for the most part.
