I saw Dr Sadeghi after the first GI doc aka pompous jerk, had already diagnosed me from my paperwork before he met me. He had his diagnosis, which he never gave me, prescribed $$$$ medication and sent me on my way. I could not ask a question. If I did he cut me off. Forward to Dr Sadeghi. She spent the entire appointment grilling me about current gut issues, other health issues and what was I doing now. She even asked "if I could do one thing for you what would it be?" She had me change the protocol I using becasue nothing else worked to see how that goes and is ordering ct of gut and pelvis. First guy Abrahm couldn't even be bothered to make a follow-up appointment. I don't know how this will turn out but wow, first doc on a long time who listened to me and asked a million questions. I was so used to dumb docs I was giving her info and she would stop me saying she didn't need every detail. Just broad strokes. She took charge and I liked that. Avoid this place at all cost they don't care about your health. I signed up for the 6 month membership. The first meeting in person went well after they signed me up for a 6 month commitment all the meetings were switched to zoom calls (useless waste of time). I called to switch credit cards and cancel my membership I was told I would be charged for the 6 months (no problem) but the charges continued for another 4 months when I called it took about 3 days of we'll call you back to finally get told "I'm their notes it doesn't say I cancelled" and basically won't refund for 4 months of zero service. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor read more

i have two points to make. 1. SADEGHI IS A THIEF: for starters, when we first contacted Dr. Sadeghi my wife had just been added under my medical insurance (Anthem); however, because it takes several days for a new member to be processed, she didn't immediately show up as an active member in Anthem's system even though we were assured by Anthem she was covered. Sadeghi understood this, but insisted we pay up front for her services and told us we could submit the claims to Anthem for reimbursement. Anthem agreed, however bc Sadeghi is an in network provider Anthem paid Sadeghi rather than reimbursing us, which is what Anthem was supposed to do. so Sadeghi got paid TWICE. Anthem instructed me to contact Sadeghi for reimbursement, which i did. Sadeghi's admin staff then sent me on a wild goose chase ALL DAY asking me for more information from Anthem every time i called. mind you there is zero reason Sadeghi's staff shouldn't have been able to see that they were paid twice for the same services. MOST PROVIDERS IMMEDIATELY REFUND OVERPAYMENTS WITHOUT ANY WORK FROM THE PATIENT. but not Sadeghi. when they finally had no other info they could possibly ask for they acknowledged an overpayment was made and agreed to reimburse us for the amount Anthem paid them. the problem is, in most cases, in network providers are not entitled to the full amount they bill. they are entitled to a discounted amount that is negotiated with the insurance company, so the amount we paid up front was grossly higher than what they should have been paid. bottom line Sadeghi is only reimbursing us roughly half of what they owe and keeping our money. this is more commonly known as THEFT. 2. SADEGHI DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU: Sadeghi has a boutique practice that charges a monthly fee to utilize her services. my wife is extremely sick with a chronic illness and applied for short term disability, which we desperately need. Sadeghi said that if we pay her membership fee she would sign the paperwork to get us the much needed disability. however, after we agreed to pay and applied for membership Sadeghi reneged on her promised and refused to sign the paperwork. she clearly couldn't care less about my wife's needs.. she only cared about the membership fee see a pattern here? doctors that care more about money than they do about their patients are not doctors that should be able to practice medicine. read more

I suffer from SIBO, and this was my last ditch effort to find some relief from the intestinal bloat, malaise, mind fog, etc. I was skeptical of Dr Angie Sadeghi, and her vegan protocol. Dr Treyzon (Cedar Sinai) wished me the best, as he had no more solutions, as the 'medications' had failed. I have seen Dr S twice, and each time she has taken time with me, and showed real interest and excitement with the changes implemented in my life (whole food veganism). It has been nice to open up about all my personal medical/nutrition aspects of my life, and receive positive feedback instead of negative criticism. She really does care, and has vested interest in helping her patients get better. She understands, has lived the fitness/bodybuilding lifestyle, and has moved beyond it in an incredibly beautiful and positive way, complementing herself by living what she preaches. This vegan diet only enhances the incredible power our body has within. Veganism does improve the cardiovascular aspect amazingly. It's been 5 weeks on the vegan diet, and it has not been easy. As a bodybuilder, eating meat and animal products was an "every meal of the day" way of life. I knew of vegans, but never studied it, even as a nutrition science major. The food modifications have been life altering. After 5 weeks eating a modified vegan (whole plant) diet, the GI bloating has decreased amazingly, & I have become noticeably leaner. Most importantly, blood work has changed in a very positive way, and I have stopped taking 3 blood pressure medications. And, FYI, my SIBO was verified multiple times with the lactulose test, from Cedar's Sinai. I've been on xifaxan/neomycin 3x and xifaxan alone the last time. Changing the timing or spacing of my eating habits did not help. Low FODMAP did not help. The medications did not help. The colonoscopy/endoscopy, CT scan with contrast, and "general/uneducated GI) said my body was "fine", and that "nothing was wrong", yet they did not listen to anything about my findings of 2 years of studying my problems. Dr Sadeghi understood right away. IT took us A LONG TIME TO GET TO THIS SICK POINT IN OUR LIFE, so it will take some time and work to get back to full recovery. It's a road less traveled, and not for the weary. It takes time, patience, but is well worth it. And with a helpful professional that understands our issues, makes it all the more easier. read more

I just called to get an appointment with Dr. Sadeghi and was told that in order to see her I have to pay a monthly membership of $108! I simply wanted to come and get evaluated once and maybe there is no issue. Is it a gym? Why do you need to collect money on me every single month for god knows how long? Even if there is a membership it should be for somone who has ongoing issues, not for someone who calls to get their "first appointment". I selfishly hesitate to give such glowing reviews in order to retain appointment availability, but my conscious wins over... she deserves it and so do you. It's so nice to find a Doctor who is actually healthy herself! No better calling card to verify knowledge than being a practitioner of what you preach... and in a very pleasing manner. I have only begun seeing her, 3x now over a couple of months, but am extremely pleased with my new health regimen. Dr. Sadeghi is a rare find in that she truly considers an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... and then some. Our medical industry is fraught with many inefficiencies, some refer to it as corruption; the most egregious example being it relies on symptom suppression as opposed to prevention and cures. Dr. Sadeghi focuses on the latter. So, my testing revealed I am low in Vitamin D (the skin cancer scare's downside), and my thyroid is in the "normal" range according to accepted health standards, but not optimum. Dr. Sadeghi remarked I should always strive for optimum, to reap all of the happiness life affords. I agree! I have been taking the prescribed medicine for a little over a week, but am already noticing great improvements; more consistent energy and the relief of minor but aggravating aches and pains. read more

I was very disappointed in my experience with this medical office. After an initial consultation, they failed to get approval for a critical procedure / test and were not willing to go to bat for me with the insurance company and suggested I just pay out of pocket - what a solution! So I found another gastroenterologist that could help and had a team to get the procedure approved so that I can find out what's actually going on and get the treatment I need. I'm afraid this group has a nice marketing pitch but not the real commitment and follow through to really help patients get better. read more
