    Pesto Sandwich

This bakeshop is exactly how you'd picture a bake shop out of a storybook. It's small and cute with some seating. I got the Pesto Sandwich with mozzarella and tomato. It was a pretty basic sandwich, but I really liked the bread. Considering that I visited in a group of 6, the staff got us our drinks immediately and baked goods/sandwiches without much of a wait.

For a bakery, I'd expect better bread and desserts. A cute town so I was hoping the food would deliver as well. The chips were the best part. The turkey sandwich was ok. A little dry, the sauces I added on saved it. Average. The cookie was nothing special. Feels like I could make that quality - which isn't a compliment. Service wasn't particularly happy or welcoming.

Whenever we're in Cold Spring, we always stop at Angie's Bake Shop. It's not large, but busy, and centrally located on Cold Spring's Main Street. We purchased hot chocolate and a bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit. Both items were VERY GOOD and the staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Do yourself a favor and try Angie's. You'll enjoy every item on their menu. FYI.... try to sit at the tables near the window. If the weather is nice enough, they have a small outdoor seating area. Hot chocolate and people watching is relaxing.

A small, cozy spot tucked into the Main Street of Cold Spring -- my go-to stop before hitting the hiking trails! They have a great selection of pastries and breakfast items -- their scone was DELICIOUS without being too dense, love the Honey Butter Biscuit too. It's totally worth swinging by!

The pastries were amazing! The blueberry scone was moist on the inside, with gooey blueberries, fresh lemon zest, and the perfect hint of sweetness. The stuffed biscuit was crispy on the outside and stuffed with egg and ham on the inside. They were pretty large and very filling. Unfortunately, they don't have an espresso machine and only had brewed coffee, which wasn't great. There were a few tables inside and outside, but it's pretty packed on the weekends.

This may be the best bakery I've been to in my entire life - everything there is SO good! I stopped by on a trip to Cold Spring - this bakery is located in the heart of the main street and is right in the middle of a bunch of gorgeous little shops. Mini Pumpkin Bundt Cake - delectable! So soft and with a lovely cream cheese frosting. I had to order more to take home. Curry chicken salad salad - a nice fresh spring mix with a vinaigrette dressing and a hearty curry chicken salad for protein. The flavor in the curry was amazing and the chicken was amazingly fresh. I wasn't expecting this from a small little shop i the middle of a small town. The inside is rather small and most of the space is taken up by the kitchen - there are maybe 2-3 tables for seating. There is some dust here and there and I think they could do with cleaning a little more often, however. The people who work there are incredibly nice - there are no bathrooms but they will sometimes allow you if you really really need to go.

Found this spot on Yelp. Super cozy cafe in the main street in Cold Spring. My party and I needed a place to wait for lunch reservations at Hudson Hills so we came across the street to Angie's and we're not disappointed. The blueberry muffin, honey butter biscuit, and the egg frittata scone were all amazing. Coffee was nice and strong. The place smells amazing too!

Angie's Bake Shop is a charming cafe on the main street of Cold Spring! We stopped by to grab something warm on a cold day. I got hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie. The hot chocolate was sweetly thick and sublime with 2 puffy marshmallows, and the cookie was crisp and pleasantly fudgy. Definitely worth dropping by!

We had a quick little lunch hear while wandering Coldspring. Place has just a few outdoor seating options which we snagged and ordered inside. Staff was helpful and food came out quick. There's greatttg baked good options and a pretty short/simple lunch menu with some sandwhich and salads. The panini options were pretty standard (we had Brie and caprese options) but the harlequin cooking was ouuuut of this world. It was Levain-esque for those of you who are farmiliar!!! I would definitely eat again. Nice option for a sweet treat on the main strip in Coldspring!

We had a party of 10, and thankfully they were able to accommodate us in the very back of the restaurant, which ended up being a great spot for our group. Service was a bit on the slower side, and we would have appreciated a few more check-ins throughout the meal. Nothing terrible, but noticeable--especially with a larger group. If you're gluten-free, just know the options are somewhat limited. That said, I was able to customize the breakfast burrito into a bowl to skip the tortilla, which worked out well and was still satisfying. The table shared the pancakes with cinnamon butter, which were a big hit. The breakfast burrito was also really popular, and a few people ordered the quiche special, which got great feedback as well. One downside is the bathroom situation--there's only one unisex restroom for the entire restaurant, so there was pretty much a line the whole time. Parking is metered street parking with a 4-hour limit, which is manageable but something to keep in mind if you're planning a longer visit. On the plus side, being seated in the back made it quiet enough for us to actually enjoy conversation, which isn't always the case at brunch spots. While the pricing felt a bit high for the overall value, the food and atmosphere made it a worthwhile experience. It's a bit of a drive for me, so not somewhere I'd visit regularly, but it's located in a really cute town with plenty of shops to explore--nice if you want to make a day out of it. Overall, a charming spot with good food and a cozy vibe. I'd come back, just hoping for a bit more attentive service next time.

The sandwich had raw onions which did nothing for the taste, it would have been better if it was caramelized. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and it was so dense. I've had lemon ricotta pancakes and they are fluffy and smooth but this was neither. My friend and I were sitting outside and we finished paying and decided to go inside to use the bathroom. The hostess and her kid see us going inside and tell us no, stop, where are you going? I told her we are going to use the bathroom. We were eating outside. The hostess did not apologize for her rudeness and just said okay. The place is small, and the hostess herself literally brought us to our table and she didn't remember. The food was mid and the hostess needs better customer service skills. Plus the outdoor seating could be better, the table was wobbly and the table was iron mesh so you could see that they don't clean because you could see cobwebs through it.

This time around I ordered the salami and blue cheese and the roast beef special. The cheese and bread are all super fresh, but that didn't stop the roast beef sandwich from being a bit bland. The salami and blue cheese sandwich is a favorite of mine, and again was super fresh, but the sandwich was small and doesn't come with any veggies. I think the reason I am giving this two stars, and not three of four, is because of the ambiance and service. This time we waited around 20 minutes just to order our sandwiches, as there was only one person in the front, and they spent 15 minutes letting some people ahead of us sample cheese. The shop was packed, but the line was barely moving. We also saw the employees stick his nose in some mortadella and sniff it... not sure if that was a quality check but it was a bit of a turn-off. The shop itself is cute, but it has no bathroom or indoor seating, which is a must after a long car ride or hike (the area is famous for hiking). There are two outdoor tables, but they are extremely cramped. We sat down with our baby and there just wasn't enough room for us and the three ladies next to us, so my husband ate standing up. The cheese itself is quite nice and the staff is quite knowledgeable about what they products they offer. However, I like to stop here for lunch, and the lunch menu is limited to sandwiches. There are only a few sandwiches offered (maybe 5 and two specials) and they don't rotate through menu items very often, so I feel like I've tried each sandwich they offer multiple times over at this point. The sandwiches are usually quite bare and don't come with many veggies or variety. So that being said, I've been returning less because I'm a bit bored by the offerings.
