When in New York you must eat cheese cake, I tried the banana pudding cheesecake cupcake. I'm a southern belle and this cupcake was absolutely delicious. It was fluffy and quite delicious. When I say the cheesecake was a taste of heaven. I enjoyed that this establishment is a hidden jewel in a residential neighborhood. There is plenty of off street parking. Popped in while in the area based on the reviews. Heads up that there is no branding on the building and it's in a residential/slightly run down part of town. That being said, the 2 young men working in there were very kind and hospitable. They were some of the kindest people I've encountered in recent memory. We got a slice of the Banana Pudding cheesecake and it was outstanding. Very tasty and almost not even cheesecake imo. So good. 4 stars because a tiny slice was $8.95, more than most nice restaurants. But the flavors were there. I would recommend posting small signs of what type of cheesecake each one is, as all 3 customers inside asked what they were, like we did. "Time to make the cheesecake!" If you read nothing else other than this first line...Do not go here unless you arrive immediately after they open! Dang it, I hate to be "that customer" but I'm going to be that customer that poops on this place because this place is NOT close to my home. I drove about 40 mins to this place because of friends sharing their experiences when it was in Kingston prior to moving to Newburgh so I was excited for it to have moved closer to me. Let me preface this review by saying I called ahead asking if they had products readily available that I was interested in OR if I should order ahead to ensure I was able to purchase what I wanted since I didn't live in the area. I was told to come down because they do have the items I was interested in readily available which is a traditional cheese cake. When I finally arrived to this bakery I was confused if I was even at the correct location because there was no signs out front indicating what business this might have been. Secondly when I got inside I thought for sure I was at the wrong place because while it smelled really good inside they had two massive sized display refrigerator units with ZERO product inside. I thought, "maybe it's SO fresh they just get what we want from the back right from the oven". Nope!! They had no products to sell except a few slices of some rainbow cheese cake I had no desire to taste. The staff was super nice despite my confusion of zero product available for sale. They politely told me, "Well it is two hours before closing and we've sold out of what we had for the day!" Gee, I guess if you have no more product you might as well close your doors immediately and update business hours to "11am while supplies last for the day" because why have business hours if you are essentially closed once you run out of product to sell. UGH! I was so dang disappointed BUT I was hopeful and asked if I could order for pick up the next day or day after and was told no. Either they don't take orders or the young man mis-informed me because I was willing to place an order only because I did not live in the area. I left shattered and so disappointed because I absolutely LOVE cheese cake. Photos on Yelp from 2022 that show their beautiful display case with tons of product in it was from their Kingston location prior to moving to Newburgh. I'm not even sure if they are ready for business and probably should just take phone orders for pickup until they are ready to be officially open at the new location. I wish them the best of luck but they really should change closing business hours to "while supplies last" this way customers know if you don't line up at the door before they open then don't bother visiting. read more

The first thing that caught our eyes were the 15 different varieties displayed. I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed, but the man behind the counter explained each flavor, including what the crust was made out of, and his recommendations. We went with the Italian Rainbow Cookie and Cannoli cheesecakes. The staff/family, told us how to properly transport and store the cake pieces for our trip home. Now, I am from New York. I have eaten A LOT of cheesecake. This is, by far, the best cheesecake I have ever had. My only disappointment is that they don't yet ship to NYC, but hopefully that changes soon.
