This used to be a pretty good place to eat with decent prices. Now the prices have just about doubled & the taste of the food has went way down. We got the pork chops lunch special, witch use to be around $7-$8 & now it's $15, the pork chop was pretty small & so dry we could barely eat it. It had no flavor. The squash was soggy. I popped in here for breakfast while in town for a local gathering of friends and family! The parking lot was packed, so we knew it was a local favorite. We were seated quickly and even accommodated with a table move because of our party of 8. Our waitress was awesome. Coffee always full. The circus decor is so vintage and fun. Maybe it was just an off day but our breakfast was absolutely the worst food I've ever been served. Ordered sausage, over easy eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns and toast. Eggs were super overcooked, yolk was like a hard boiled egg. Hashbrowns were undercooked, still raw and crunchy. And the worst part was the sausage was spoiled, but was still served to us. And while checking out, the cashier had the audacity to ask if we were leaving the tip on the table or putting it on the card, as if they expected a tip. (we would've left one for the waitress bc she was super nice and understand the terrible food wasn't her fault. Also, I've never left a bad review, that's how bad this experience was. 0/10, will not be back. read more

It was fun eating there lots of circus things to look at I would go back for sure! If you are there go to the cemetery and look for the circus plots. Also look for Lane Frost last resting place. read more

Waited over 5 minutes to be waited on. Ordered the lunch special, the food was cold, the squash was mushy, the ribs were cold, the potatoes were cold. Sent it back, came back cold. Since you have to drive a ways through Hugo to get to the fast-food chains anyway, stop here and eat local. Big portions of down-home food (try the onion rings!) and kind, friendly staff. It's a pleasant surprise to find a salad bar (with bleu cheese and French dressings) in the deep-fried heart of Oklahoma. The decor is colorful. read more

Just happen to be passing through on a Friday evening and found this cute little old school, vintage field diner, and at 8 o'clock the place was absolutely packed still! Food was phenomenal! Some of the best catfish beans, fries, and hush puppies I've ever had service was unbelievably good and absolutely do yourself a favor and stop in and see these folks. This is a good place to stop on a road trip. Small town atmosphere where many locals go. We had breakfast here, and got to enjoy the feel of a small town in rural USA. Pancakes, omelette and biscuits and gravy were all good onions and bell peppers could have stood being sautéed longer- still crunchy. Waitress was attentive and no complaints. Country diner perfect for a comfort food breakfast. They appear to sell the entire menu all day. Pickup trucks were packed in all over the lot. It must be the place for the farmers and cowboys after morning chores. Tons of circus decor as this is apparently where many traveling acts "Winter" for the month. Homemade biscuits and gravy were great. My sin had a sausage side that was hand made as well. Eggs and hash browns were well done. The food was good but took a long time and the bathroom was not clean. That said, I'd come by again to get breakfast. read more

One of my favorite places to eat lunch in town. If you've never been, I recommend you visit on a weekday before 2 pm to catch the lunch specials. Though if you're afraid of clowns, you should probably avoid it. read more

Passing through town and decided that since the town was know for circuses, we should stop at the circus themed restaurant. Parking lot was packed so we assumed the locals love the place. Our group ordered fried chicken strips, burger, grilled cheese, and a couple of southwest patty melts. Food was good. Burger was pretty good sized. Patty melts were delicious. Decor is interesting. Judging by the cute & modern-looking logo, I was kind of expecting a slick tourist attraction type of place. While it's definitely got the tourist appeal, it's more of a "down home" authentic and old school restaurant. It wasn't the cleanest place in the world but no worse than any other diner of its type. Overhearing the colorful conversations of people in the dining room told me that this place is a favorite for many old-timers, even though it's only been around since 1998 I would have guessed 1978. The prices were very fair for the large portions of food. I took one look at their sad-looking salad bar and knew this would be a place for a comfort food meal, not healthy fare...and that was totally fine. You kind of know what you are getting into with this place anyway. My husband really enjoyed the huge catfish dinner they served up for him. My steak sandwich was overwhelming but very good, it was exactly what I would expect a chicken fried steak on a bun to be like...imagine if Sonic Drive-In did things with higher quality, and that's pretty much what it was like. The staff seemed very straightforward & genuine. I even felt compelled to buy a t-shirt, which were displayed in frames near the cash register but not at all "pushed" on diners. In fact the managerial type who helped me with that seemed almost surprised that I wanted to buy one, and I didn't see any signs advertising them for sale. read more

The service was good and the atmosphere friendly. We stopped only for desert and had pie and coffee. While the flavours were good the pie seemed to have been on the shelf a. After a quick drive around town I decided that this looked like an interesting place to try. I got a table in the middle of the restaurant and was able to look around at all of the circus decor. (WARNING - if you are scared of clowns stay away!). I decided to try the AYCE catfish that was one of the daily specials. The fish came with a baked potato, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The fish was perfectly cooked and plentiful but the potato was overcooked and dry. The slaw was just "meh". If ever back in the area I will probably stop back in and try something else. I just know that I will never get m,y other half into the parking lot. She hates clowns. read more

It was a typical local diner with good food and good, friendly service. If you are unnerved by clowns, you might not enjoy it. The entire restaurant is decked out with circus decor including some pretty awful clowns. We had a good laugh with it, but there were some seriously freaky clowns in there. read more

Well the food was OK, but my 5 year old son ordered chicken strips off of the kids menu and they brought out & charged us ($12.99) for an adults chicken dinner. I should have argued/complained but I was not in the mood, we just packaged up his leftovers and took them home. Make sure you specifically ask for kids meals when ordering for your children, even if they are pointing at the kids menu when ordering. read more
