    Chicken Honey Mustard Stir Fry
    L S.

Delicious road side gem serving up multiple daily specials and hot fried to order pies in a wide variety of flavors, with apricot being extra scrumptious. Hope these are always available because they are the best ever and 100 times better than cold sugary amish handheld pies. Dinner entre was a chicken stir fry with a honey mustard glaze that sounds crazy, but is CrAzZzy Good!!!!! Service is top notch. Sweet tea is sweet. Locals filled this cute clean Cafe and is a must stop when driving down route 70, this might just be the best stop for good eats in southern Oklahoma.

Small interior offering 4 tables and a line up of bar stools. The kitchen and pantry are fully exposed. We were greeted by a gent opening the door for us and friendly hellos! The menu provides a wide selection of country fair with twists on cosmopolitan selections (the country bennie is a must). No pre-cut fries on site,! Everything looked and tastes freshly prepared. Will definitely make the trek again!

1836 Café in Bells, TX is a true hidden gem and worth every stop. From the moment I walked up to…read morethe door, the smell alone let me know I was in for something special. Inside, the atmosphere is small-town comfort at its best -- casual, welcoming, and the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. I ordered the Chicken Bennie, and it was absolutely outstanding. A homemade biscuit served as the base, soft and fluffy on the inside with just the right touch of crisp on the outside. On top of that came perfectly fried chicken tenders, a runny egg that tied everything together, and a generous pour of rich, savory sausage gravy. It all came with a side of crispy fried potatoes that were cooked just right -- golden and flavorful without being greasy. Every bite was pure comfort food perfection. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, the kind that pairs perfectly with a hearty breakfast. Service was excellent as well -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell the staff really cares about their customers and their food. Overall, 1836 Café is exactly what you hope to find in a small-town spot: great food, great people, and an atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through or nearby.

The ambience is so funky and cool! A lot of memorabilia from 3 Doors Down What makes a great cup of coffee is the roasted coffee beans where they come from and they are roasted and it is excellent here. What makes a cuppa coffee above excellent is great friendly and kind conversation which you can always find this little place.. today was the first time I actually tried a baked items today and the banana oatmeal chocolate muffin was so yummy. I will say it's very rich very filling and for me I only ate a couple of pinches and I will just get me a pincher two every so often when I'm feeling the need for a little snack throughout the day. When Moore little added bonus here, I did mention we buy the coffee beans and grind them and that is our daily coffee at home however, those that use Keurig's : you can purchase those as well. They will roast grind and package the Keurig fresh. We get those for my sister and ship them to her in Oklahoma City. I know that sounds like a lot, but our family is coffee Connoisseurs; we'd like to say (ha) we definitely think this coffee is worth!!
