The calamari was bitter in addition to being soggy. The balsamic glaze added a sweetness, but it wasn't offset by enough salty/spicy. It was served with a tomato sauce that didn't go well with the toppings. It was an odd dish. If it wasn't so late, I might have actually sent it back (which I do probably once every 10 years). Fresher, crispy and less bitter calamari might have been enough to fix the balance. My dinner companion had a sandwich with a bun, lettuce, apple slice, fried chicken, cheese, and bacon. I think it might have been a special. It was ok. It came with Saratoga chips, which is why we picked the restaurant. We wanted to get Saratoga chips in Saratoga. Unfortunately, they were hard and cold and bland. Lots of TVs. Service was meh. I felt like they were put out for serving us. There's a good bar vibe. If I were to eat there again, I would go for beer and wings.

They're always friendly and I've never failed to strike up a conversation at the bar and make some new friends. The service is always on point and friendly as well. The food is traditional bar fare that's always high quality, plentiful, and delicious. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered, from apps, to wraps. The beer selection is very good with a lot of regional brews, and they also have a full bar. It's really become my go to place in LP.

The only negative I can report, and the reason for 4 stars instead of five was the amount of room at the table; for two adults and three children it was a bit tight but our server did her best with clearing unused items so that we were able to use the little space we did have. When I asked Erica for my tab, she brought over my check and told me that because I was paying with a card, I had to go to the bar to use the machine, even though the device is designed to be portable (taken to a table for the patron to pay the bill). The food is way overpriced for frozen stuff that I could make at home, the drinks are not fresh and made properly, and the guest should not have to go to the bar to settle the bill. What really kills me is that there is a photo of John Taffer from Bar Rescue hanging on the wall with the owner of this establishment, but quite obviously, the "owner" just doesn't care about the quality of products being delivered to his guests, nor guest hospitality. The booth seats are in bad repair and quite uncomfortable. You have definitely lost me as a customer in your establishment.
