We started with a watermelon margarita and an extra dry Hendricks Gibson up. The drinks were perfectly chilled and hit the spot after a long day touring Fort Ticonderoga. We were told that their prime rib was the belle of the Fire & Ice ball so we made that our dinner. Roasted slowly overnight, the meat is perfectly medium rare inside with a delectable crust. Served with a range of sides and a generous dollop of freshly grated horseradish, we could not have been more pleased with the quality and quantity of the prime rib. They have an interesting dessert cart but, after 40 ounces of delicious prime rib, we gave the sweet course a miss. Fire & Ice is a compelling option for those spending time in Middlebury.
