The main office doesn't respond to anything. Don't expect any help if the local rep isn't being…read morehelpful. I wouldn't bother signing up as a free agent without knowing members of the team/the captain pretty well. Some of the captains they rely on are as rude, dishonest, and incompetent as the league officials. The league will tell you they can move you to a new team if you don't get along or are mistreated by the team you're assigned to, then they will wait too long or end up not bothering/lie and tell you it's too late as apparently this league is too serious. Even if there are games remaining in the regular season. If you like having rainout games not being made up and credits not being offered as stated in the terms and conditions then go ahead and sign up. If you like being told specific rules have been disregarded because of apparent captain votes the league didn't announce go ahead. If you want to be assigned to a field you didn't sign up for with no explanation or apology, then be scheduled to play starting as late as 10pm go ahead. This is a ripoff and inconsiderate. I have been polite and am being treated like crap. Don't bother discussing refunds in any circumstances. They probably wouldn't give one even if they cancelled the season. If the league disbanded they would probably try to give you leftover shirts as a comp instead of your money back. Update: Hi Ian, Thank you for your continued engagement with our league and for sharing your concerns. I appreciate the opportunity to address this matter comprehensively. After thorough consultations with both team captains and our support team, alongside a review of our correspondences, it's clear that substantial efforts were made to accommodate your requests. The decision to initially offer a team switch was made in good faith, aiming to enhance your experience within our league--a gesture beyond our typical protocol. However, the nature of your recent requests--particularly the timing and frequency of desired changes--poses significant challenges. Introducing a new player into a team's established dynamics towards the end of the season disrupts not only their strategic setups but also their camaraderie and collective rhythm. Such changes can be detrimental to the overall team environment and the league's integrity. Given these considerations, and with respect for all participants, it is not feasible to proceed with a team change at this stage. Our policies and the structure of the season do not support such a move this late in the game without risking the detriment of all involved. Furthermore, as per our terms and conditions, the circumstances described do not qualify for a credit issuance. While I understand this may be disappointing, please know that the decision is rooted in maintaining fairness and consistency across our league. I must emphasize that this decision is final, and as such, we will not be able to entertain further discussions on this matter. Your understanding and acknowledgment of the efforts made on your behalf would be appreciated. Thank you for your participation this season, and while I regret that we may not meet your expectations in this instance, I sincerely hope you find a league that aligns more closely with your preferences. Live Life Fun, Britt Mench ---- I didn't say I was leaving the league prior to this. They told me I wasn't welcome back after one of their captains was rude to me. The league director was too busy for me.

Love the coaches and to play here. The people are very nice and friendly. Don't worry if the courts are occupied, you won't go home without some workout. Amazing place to chill and relax especially in sunny days. Wonderful place very near to the city to play sand volleyball, whether you wanna play doubles, 3v3 or 4v4. Two courts mean you almost always have a chance to get some reps in. Courts generally stay in great shape. The lines are always maintained to be straight, but they are easily adjustable. On July 18, 2020, Ichiban Volleyball Club partnered with the Embry Hills Club to open 2 sand volleyball courts. They offer open play, league play, tournaments, and instruction in a COVID friendly environment. The courts are private and Christie Wilson is the owner and operator. New sand volleyball courts, located conveniently inside the perimeter off of Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta. They are looking to build a community of volleyballers. You can join for a open play on Sundays from 4 PM to 7 PM, Mondays 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and Fridays 6: 30 PM to 9:30 PM. They are hosting several tournaments, League plays and you can find them on their site at https://onebeach.bracketpal.com/signup. Also on Sundays they have Skills and Drills from 2 PM to 4 PM to improve your game, which costs just $10 and open play just for $5. You can Venmo using @ich1banvbc. Volleyball in Atlanta has grown tremendously in the past 10 years or so. If you like to be fit, try this place and you will love it. They have ample free parking space in front of the courts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

That said we played here multiple seasons and had some good experiences, but unfortunately we had more negative experience ones. As parents and players we have not been treated very well - the owners are not interested in feedback and when it is given are quite rude, dismissive and misogynistic. They seem to be and have stated they are overwhelmed with the volume of the business, but no changes are made. They continue to be unresponsive and uncaring about parental feedback and or questions. Many of the coaches yell at the girls for doing things incorrectly, but actual instruction has a lacking. I know plenty of parent who have become fed up and left as we have now as well. Many coaches are not qualified to be a coach - if I pay a premium to play somewhere i expect the services to match but that is not the case here. Many inexperienced or even brand new coaches coaching supposed "elite" teams. The place has become a money grab with too many teams and girls on teams they shouldn't necessarily be on just for the fees. Avoid this place if at all possible. Toxic environment. Don't out tour child through this.

The play was a standard volleyball play. The coach received a red card, but I feel this type of disgusting behavior should be posted. Also, this coach proceeded to taunt the girl on another play when she called touch. Even more disturbing is that on it was discovered that the coach yelled at another girl on Sat on the same team earlier in the day. This is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. On a positive note, it was good to see that several M2 parents spoke with the other team's parents and said the behavior was unacceptable. This should not happen at any tournament. If you have an issue with a child then address it with the ref and/or other coach. Children should be safe from being intimidated by adult coaches or anyone.
