The slow pitch function on the machine did not work and the fast pitch wasn't consistently throwing strikes, but I had fun.

Batting cages never work - was there for an hour only got to bat twice. Atlanta doesn't have many batting cages though

Pros: your child will develop their bodies,…read moretheir discipline, their lifelong friendships, their strategic thinking skills, and their world views. My daughter's love for fencing has been fostered here, and I thank God for that. Nellya athletes consistently have top level results...and have National, World, and Olympic medal fencers. They have results under their belt! Cons: fencing isn't a cheap sport. It's not like you're letting your child join the school's basketball or football team. This is a serious sport...requiring equipment, physical maintenance, private lessons, and travel expenses. Is it worth it, YES! Besides the Pros mentioned above, it's a great way to make your child stand out in the world (especially to colleges). It's best to go on in and have a look...talk with the coaches and other parents.

But in the Q&A section of the groupon deal, the owner said "Classes are for adults with no experience and are offered Mon and Wed. at 6 p.m". I am in my early 20s, I thought fencing might be really fun so I grabbed the deal. On first day, I realized I am the only adult in the class, the youngest student in the foil class was in primary school and oldest (beside me) was in high-school. And even the youngest student had one+ year experience with foil so I was pretty the only (and oldest) one in the class without any clue. I thought not coming back for the rest of the 3 classes, but I do not want to waste the money. In the second class, another clueless adult showed up (apparently also misguided by the Q&A section of groupon), and I thought I have found company. That adult didn't turn up again:( I still give the place 5 stars because I think the practice would be fantastic for children (if I would be given the chance to learn fencing when I was a child, I would be very happy) and it is my fault that I did not do my research thoroughly before I bought the deal. The coach was very strict and experienced. Most of the children I believe want to compete nationally and the skill could help them to enter top universities.

We mainly came just for the pool, so I didn't get the full chance to utilize everything the gym had to offer. The locker rooms and the pool were really nice though. When we arrived to the pool, we grabbed some drinks at the pool bar and noticed there was a DJ playing. There were many lounge chairs scattered throughout the pool area, but it wasn't too busy, so we were able to find a good spot to sit. We were both with our wives, so there were 4 of us. We had some snacks and drank by the pool. While I did love my visit here, I would never sign up to be a member, as monthly memberships are $200+ which in my opinion is quite steep. We Ubered here, so I am not too familiar with where parking is for members. I would come back here, but only if I was able to visit for free.

While using the women's locker room/rejuvenation area at Life Time Fitness Buckhead, I was completely naked when a male contractor entered the space. I was fully exposed. There was no warning given to me that allowed time to dress, cover myself, or leave the area. No announcement reached me. No safeguard protected me. Whatever policies Life Time claims to have, they failed in real time -- because the result was my total exposure. What happened next was just as disturbing. Instead of taking accountability, management focused on defending "procedure." I was essentially told that everything was done properly -- despite the fact that I was left naked in front of a man. That alone tells me this situation was not taken seriously. Then, the next day, someone attempted to break into my home and sexually assault me. I am stating this plainly because context matters. At this point, it is unknown whether there is any connection between these events. That uncertainty is exactly why this should have been handled with urgency, care, and seriousness. Instead, my concerns were minimized, and I was left feeling unsafe -- not only as a member, but as a woman. I should not have had to escalate this. I should not have had to involve corporate or law enforcement just to be heard. A gym locker room is supposed to be one of the most protected private spaces. Life Time Buckhead failed to protect mine, and then failed again by dismissing the impact. Privacy is not a "process." Safety is not a script. Dignity is not negotiable. Based on my experience, Life Time Buckhead did not uphold any of these. Mike the GM is a sorry somebody.

I in fact I live about 10-15 mins away from this gym but make the commute because it's great and worth it. What can I say. The trainers are awesome and the classes are wonderful! Some of the best group fitness classes I have ever had. I've tried big gym chains like 24 hour fitness and then smaller gyms like Pure Fitness in Austin and this one definitely takes the cake when it comes to group fitness. They offer body scultping, pilates, yoga, spin, zumba and more. What I love the most about this gym is that the people who come to this gym are REAL people. They don't come to the gym with a full set of makeup or to show off their fake boobs in a sports bra. They don't look like they have spent an hour getting ready to work out. It's such a breath of fresh air to be working out among real people. This gym provides towels, shirts, shorts, and even socks. The locker rooms are always equipped with plenty of bath towels, lotion, razors, shampoo/conditioner, hair styling products and more. It is clean and well kept. The people who work here are great too. If you are looking to be inspired or simply just looking for a great gym try Resolution Fitness and don't shy away from it simply because it's in a big building downtown.

There were plenty of machines, free weights, benches, cables, and cardio equipment, so I had everything I needed to get a full workout in. One thing I really liked was how open the gym felt. Even with a lot of equipment, everything was spread out enough that I didn't feel cramped or like I was constantly waiting for someone to finish. There are also plenty of mirrors throughout the weight area, which I always appreciate when I'm working out. The facility itself was well maintained and the locker room area was clean. Overall, this was a solid gym with a good variety of equipment and plenty of space to work out. I'd definitely work out here again when I'm in Atlanta.

Serious Safety & Liability Concerns - This Gym Puts Members at Risk…read more This gym is playing fast and loose with member safety, and it needs to be called out. The sauna has a clearly posted warning sign stating a maximum safe temperature of 185°F. Despite this, staff and management insist on running it at 200°F, knowingly exceeding their own posted safety limits. That alone is reckless and a massive liability issue. What made this worse: I entered the sauna first at a safe temperature. Another gym member then came in and turned the temperature up to 197°F, completely ignoring the warning sign. When I pointed out the posted safety limit, this individual became aggressive, threatened me, harassed me, and disturbed my peace while I was simply trying to protect my health. No member should feel unsafe--physically or verbally--while using a wellness facility. Management's response? Dismissive and unconcerned. Instead of addressing: * the unsafe temperature settings * the violation of posted safety guidelines * the harassment and threatening behavior by another member ...the manager failed to take the situation seriously at all. This gym is exposing itself to serious liability by: * Ignoring its own safety warnings * Allowing saunas to operate at dangerous temperatures * Failing to intervene when a member is threatened Saunas are supposed to support health--not endanger it. Until management starts prioritizing member safety, accountability, and basic respect, I strongly do not recommend this gym. Consider this a warning.

We reserved a space as a courtesy but I appreciate the drop in option. There are no pressure sale tactics to rope you into buying classes or dates with penalties. It promotes the love of art period. Parents can deop their kid off for a class and everyone is happily discovering their artsy self. The offer language classes and piano lessons as well. The theme is giving and avenue to express creativity with no pressures. I was so pleased to learn they have camps for when schools out as well as host parties. Most of the teachers have been there a while with professional experience and a love of art with patience which promotes creativity at reasonable prices. I'm grateful for their flexibility because when the rain caused a delay it was really good of them to offer my daughter a shared private lesson where she was able to connect with another young person who shared her interests in art. That was really amazing to witness two young people on the same artistic wavelength getting lost in their lesson. My daughter plans to return and we recommend this place to anyone who has a child who loves arts.
