While the gym is pretty decent for the most part: lots of machines, spread-out, saunas, lockers, etc...much of the place looked kind of rundown. So many areas were undergoing construction. In the gym AND the locker rooms. It looks like a really nice gym upon first glance, but it's fairly rundown inside. I arrived close to 6, and then close to 7, a worker tapped my shoulder and told me they close at 7. Upon arriving for the first time, this same worker didn't tell me what time the club closed at all. While he did give me a tour of the place and told me about the gym, he forgot to mention the important detail that it closed at 7. Regardless, I still had a pretty good workout. If they could just do some cleanup and renovate a little quicker, I would've given this review 1-2 more stars. But until the fix the fact that this placed looks rundown and beat-up inside, it will stay 3 stars. There is plenty of parking in front of the club which is nice. It's also free. It's attached to Lenox Mall, so plenty of parking. I don't know if I would come back until renovations were complete.

This is a serious sport...requiring equipment, physical maintenance, private lessons, and travel expenses. Is it worth it, YES! Besides the Pros mentioned above, it's a great way to make your child stand out in the world (especially to colleges). But in the Q&A section of the groupon deal, the owner said "Classes are for adults with no experience and are offered Mon and Wed. at 6 p.m". I am in my early 20s, I thought fencing might be really fun so I grabbed the deal. On first day, I realized I am the only adult in the class, the youngest student in the foil class was in primary school and oldest (beside me) was in high-school. And even the youngest student had one+ year experience with foil so I was pretty the only (and oldest) one in the class without any clue. I thought not coming back for the rest of the 3 classes, but I do not want to waste the money. In the second class, another clueless adult showed up (apparently also misguided by the Q&A section of groupon), and I thought I have found company. That adult didn't turn up again:( I still give the place 5 stars because I think the practice would be fantastic for children (if I would be given the chance to learn fencing when I was a child, I would be very happy) and it is my fault that I did not do my research thoroughly before I bought the deal. The coach was very strict and experienced. Most of the children I believe want to compete nationally and the skill could help them to enter top universities.

The equipment is solid and there's a good mix of machines, free weights, and space to actually move around. I also really like the classes - the instructors know what they're doing and aren't over the top, which I appreciate. Locker rooms are a big plus. They're spacious and feel more like a spa than a gym locker room, which makes a difference if you're there before work or after a long day. Staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I've needed anything, but they don't hover. Only downside is that it can get pretty busy during peak times, especially after work. Noel, the manager, entered my parking validation incorrectly and I was asked to pay when I scanned my ticket. At the time parking officials were at the exit and I told them I was a member of 191 resolution fitness and my ticket was validated. I tried to rescan but the parking machine doesn't accept rescans. The parking people said they weren't going to assist so I called the gym to bring a new ticket because they screwed up my original. Noel sent some girl named Katie who not only did nothing but watched as the parking attendant called security on me. They threatened to tow my car and caused a huge scene. As a member of Resolution Fitness I receive 3 hours of validated parking. I was in the gym for 15 minutes. Noel hasn't offered an apology or acknowledged that she entered my validation incorrectly or offered a refund for the parking I paid for to end the ordeal that her carelessness and inability to do her job correctly created. More recently, I contacted Noel regarding personal training and she said she would have the trainer Matt contact me. A month passed and I ran into Matt and asked him if Noel informed him I was interested in personal training and he said no. Noel either has a personal bias against me or she is not capable of performing her job in a professional manner. 7/4/21: The retaliation and harassment have begun.

Some of the best group fitness classes I have ever had. I've tried big gym chains like 24 hour fitness and then smaller gyms like Pure Fitness in Austin and this one definitely takes the cake when it comes to group fitness. They offer body scultping, pilates, yoga, spin, zumba and more. What I love the most about this gym is that the people who come to this gym are REAL people. They don't come to the gym with a full set of makeup or to show off their fake boobs in a sports bra. They don't look like they have spent an hour getting ready to work out. It's such a breath of fresh air to be working out among real people. This gym provides towels, shirts, shorts, and even socks. The locker rooms are always equipped with plenty of bath towels, lotion, razors, shampoo/conditioner, hair styling products and more. It is clean and well kept. The people who work here are great too. If you are looking to be inspired or simply just looking for a great gym try Resolution Fitness and don't shy away from it simply because it's in a big building downtown.

Serious Safety & Liability Concerns - This Gym Puts Members at Risk…read more This gym is playing fast and loose with member safety, and it needs to be called out. The sauna has a clearly posted warning sign stating a maximum safe temperature of 185°F. Despite this, staff and management insist on running it at 200°F, knowingly exceeding their own posted safety limits. That alone is reckless and a massive liability issue. What made this worse: I entered the sauna first at a safe temperature. Another gym member then came in and turned the temperature up to 197°F, completely ignoring the warning sign. When I pointed out the posted safety limit, this individual became aggressive, threatened me, harassed me, and disturbed my peace while I was simply trying to protect my health. No member should feel unsafe--physically or verbally--while using a wellness facility. Management's response? Dismissive and unconcerned. Instead of addressing: * the unsafe temperature settings * the violation of posted safety guidelines * the harassment and threatening behavior by another member ...the manager failed to take the situation seriously at all. This gym is exposing itself to serious liability by: * Ignoring its own safety warnings * Allowing saunas to operate at dangerous temperatures * Failing to intervene when a member is threatened Saunas are supposed to support health--not endanger it. Until management starts prioritizing member safety, accountability, and basic respect, I strongly do not recommend this gym. Consider this a warning.

The theme is giving and avenue to express creativity with no pressures. I was so pleased to learn they have camps for when schools out as well as host parties. Most of the teachers have been there a while with professional experience and a love of art with patience which promotes creativity at reasonable prices. I'm grateful for their flexibility because when the rain caused a delay it was really good of them to offer my daughter a shared private lesson where she was able to connect with another young person who shared her interests in art. That was really amazing to witness two young people on the same artistic wavelength getting lost in their lesson. My daughter plans to return and we recommend this place to anyone who has a child who loves arts.
