What a cool place in London! There's two locations in town - this one I'm reviewing in the south…read moreside, and one in the north side near CF Masonville Place. While here, I only got a drink with friends, so I'm not going to speak on behalf of what the food is like here. From what I remember though, a lot of the food here is what you would expect to see at a place like this. Basically, pub food - think fish and chips, burgers, poutine, etc. As you would expect, this place has a very extensive beer menu. However, I didn't get a beer while here, so again, I won't dive into that. You don't need to get just beer when here - their other drinks, such as their raspberry cocktail (or whatever the official name is called), are just as good too! Prices here seem reasonable, the service is friendly and food/drinks all come out quick. One star is taking off because I went here with a group of friends and we found it was extremely difficult to maintain a conversation among us three due to how noisy the place was (and I mean VERY noisy). So keep that in mind if you're thinking of coming here. Other than that - I highly recommend you check out this place sometime.

The American Lager…read more"Keets" was light and crisp, perfect for sipping as I wrote a few reviews from a very nice table against the wall. Power and wifi worked well and it was quiet here today. Storm Stayed has a large seating area with mostly communal tables but some at the bar. I'd call it "Scandinavian" style with light wood colors and not a lot of decoration. Over in the kitchen, a few options that pair well with the beers such as hot dogs and pretzels. Outside seating is also available but too hot today for that! The beer list is constantly changing as they make new ones. Many/most of their beers are available to go. A great option for chilling and I'm glad I landed here for a while! I'm SO happy to have a craft brewery in my neighborhood. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Just a short walk from my house, I can now enjoy a craft beer in a unique environment. Storm Stayed has lots of their own beers plus lots of guest brews to choose from. I had two types, their Daybreak (blonde ale), and their Bad Math. Both were very refreshing and SO delicious. Having been to a few small craft brewers here in town, I'd say that Storm Stayed had the best taste hands down! In addition to great beer, they have lots of seating and lots of games you can pick up and play. I love that they push a 'sit anywhere' policy. I'm sure on busy evenings, this would be a great way to meet people! Storm Stayed gets a half a mark off for overall atmosphere. If you are looking for something cozy and intimate, this may not work for you. With its tall, bare, white walls, large spaces between tables, and echo-y acoustics, it can feel kind of cold and cavernous. The top 40 music being played from the tiny speaker in the corner didn't really fit in either. These things, however, will not keep me away. I'm excited to stop in for more brews that Storm Stayed cooks up! They are always adding unique flavors and guest taps. They also host small events like bike workshops. I need to come back to try their small selection of locally made food. The pretzels sounded amazing.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. Even though we had made a reservation, we were given the choice of 3 tables, which we really appreciated. We ordered two cocktails to start. I had the Flora Mexican which was amazing! it was floral, a little sweet, a little sour and just the perfect amount of yum. I loved it. My husband had the Improved Whisky Cocktail. It was also very good, with Rye, Maraschino and a nice hit of Absinthe. We decided to share some items from the crudo part of the menu. We had the salmon carpaccio which came with squid ink crackers and some lovely little pickled items. It was outstanding. We had the tuna tataki which also had lots of little pickled items and was amazing, but for me the actual tuna stole the show. The last item we ordered was the venison tartare. OMG, it was fabulous. The flavour of the venison was wonderful and the chili and capers just added so much to the dish. The cured egg yolk shaved on top gave it a subtle hint of saltiness. Everything was fantastic. The service was great and the ambience was too. We will most definitely be back when we return to London. Highly recommend this place.
