As of the day of my visit, they are only partial open as they are under construction. However. They are very friendly, the food I had was excellent. I really like the vibe and convienance of the location. The manager says their new full menu will be full on Greek once they get fully open and they will be presenting lots of choices for local taps. This restaurant is located within the Holiday Inn & Suites. It is decorated nicely like an English pub. I started with the Angry Goat light lager and found it to be very enjoyable. The food here is okay, not great, but okay. The fish and chips dish, which I ordered, was a little fishy tasting and the fries were a bit soggy. The tartar sauce was nice and the coleslaw, as well. Since I was the only patron in the restaurant at the time, I felt that there was no excuse for my fish and chips not to have come out perfect. The reason this restaurant did manage to get 3 stars is the fact that the waiter / bartender was very friendly and took care of all of my needs and the Angry Goat lager was very good! read more

One of the worst dine out experiences I've ever had any where. Food poorly prepared, marginal service. While waiting we engaged with the owner/operator. Nice fellow but he really needs a new kitchen staff. After receiving my meal of fried fish which appeared to have been under cooked or had been left under the heat lamp for twenty minutes I asked to have a new plate which they provided. Only marginally better. This time the chips were over cooked but they brought the coleslaw which was missing from the first attempt. My wife's dinner of lemon curry fish was no better - grey and unappetizing. I am truly amazed that this place can survive its first year. read more

Worst Restaurant experience this 62 year old ever had. Party of eight, over an hour for 3 guest to receive main dishes, one steak dinner with no mushrooms, Raw mussels delivered to table. After another 40 minutes 5 other guests still have no main dish. Staff could not produce mixed drinks, had to change to basic rum and coke, which tasted off. Managers customer service very poor as frustrating situation seemed to irk Him. That is when we asked for the bill, 5 patrons leaving without a meal. Only good thing out of this dinning, was when We asked for the bill, There was no charge. One employee said they where short on staff, But manager said later they had no staffing issues. Recommend not visiting, not when You have to ask twice for almost all Our requests. Woke up early next day hungry. read more

We were a little unsure of this place when we walked in. Very quiet, and not the greatest aesthetics (paper menus, tablecloth didn't fit). But the service was very good, and the food was excellent. I recommend the dill cream pasta and the saganaki. The French fries and gravy were also very yummy. I'll go back for sure. read more

Unfortunately not a good experience. Have eaten at Sweet Onion Grill where they originally had Greek Night and it was great! My recent visit to the Angry Goat was terrible. There was food on the floor, we were in a both that the bench rocked but mainly the food was bad. I think it was precooked and reheated! All the meat on the platter was dry, the goat served was mainly bone and little meat. Even the potato's were bad. They had been reheated as they had a tough exterior. Won't be going back! read more

I was at the Angry Goat last night, and even though I had read the reviews on here, I went because a friend was going to be there. Honestly, this was probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. First impression should have had us running, we walked in & found a booth & sat down & the booths weren't bolted to anything and were very front heavy so the second we sat down we both just about did a faceplant onto the table. The Londonlicious special that my wife ordered was terrible, & then they billed out all the pieces incorrectly, so a $25 special ended up costing more because of it, my Lamb burger was completely unseasoned & cooked to death, I truly don't think it was even lamb to be perfectly honest. I ordered a coke after asking specifically if they had it, they said yes, I got a dark liquid anyway, it tasted like super watered down coke, but I said screw it & drank it anyway as I was thirsty & almost an hour after ordering we still hadn't seen my wifes appetizer. When our food finally arrived, I ordered another coke & my wife ordered another wine, which was not the same as the first, in fact not even close to the first, & I'm pretty sure based on the smell was more vinegar than wine. So we sent that back & she got a water (Eventually). So, lamb burger was god awful, my wife said her pasta was just ok, her Artichoke dip appetizer was so far from artichoke dip that it shouldn't have been classified as anything other than sour cream & cream cheese roughly blended with a couple of shreds of cheese on top & completely cold pita bread that was clearly taken straight from the bag & chopped up kind of into triangles & then tossed on the plate. Then, is dessert time, or according to our waiter time to pay the bill. Oh, her Londonlicious deal did come with dessert but clearly he forgot, so she chose the lesser sounding evil from the cheesecake selection & when it arrived she recognized it as a storebought frozen cheesecake she had tried before & hated, only this one was out of the box for a while as the top was half dried out. Bill time... So the waiter brings our bill, & my fault I didn't look it over before I paid, but as I waited for the debit machine to process I look down & realize her second glass of wine is still on the bill (At this point I didn't notice the Londonlicious mistake), & I point it out, the waiter quickly starts yanking out pocket change to try & find us $9.00 to refund us, I stop him at $6.50 because I had had enough, & I had tipped him well thinking it's obviously just his first day on the job & felt bad for him. I noticed the other issues with the bill after I sent him away, I was charged for multiple "Pepsi's", I can't think of a time a pop was charged over & over again on a bill during one sitting, the Londonlicious mistake as well, so I paid over $100.00 for the worst meal & service of my life. My math says it should have been $72.53 with taxes. So, we decide we're obviously not coming back to the Angry Goat again, but joined our friends for a drink before we left. My wife orders one drink, which is a Vodka Sprite, which wasn't even close to tasting like one, but whatever. We flag down the server after 15 minutes of trying so we can clear up the drink bill, she hands him a ten, he runs to the bar comes back with the tab of $5.93 & then she asks for her change he turns around all confused & says oh, how much you want? REALLY?! She's mad, I'm mad, she says just get me a toonie & once that was in hand we left. This is going down in history for us as the worst restaurant experience ever, so we will not be going back, not even for a drink. The previous restaurants that existed here that we tried were all great, great food, great staff, but I don't know what happened on February 3rd 2018, but the only person I saw doing a good job was the busboy who was cleaning tables as quick as he could. I would highly suggest to anyone who is considering eating here to quickly reconsider, if you want a much higher class dining experience there's a McDonalds down the street! read more

This is where the Holiday Inn staff usher you in the morning for your "complimentary breakfast". Just as most of these places offer undercooked bacon and sausage, cold scrambled eggs, do it yourself toast, the Angry Goat did not disappoint. Not only was the food not even mediocre, only one round of coffee, and utensils five minutes after we got a plate from the "buffet". Upon leaving, our waitress asked for our voucher. I was not given one. I went back to reception only to be told the standard room rate of $140 per night for two queen beds did not include a "complimentary" breakfast. So if I paid more, I guess I'd be entitled to it? Back to the Angry Goat to be charged $40 for two adults and two children, for food I could have had hot and made to order elsewhere. I won't be returning to either establishment, namely The Angry Goat Public House OR Holiday Inn, Wellington at Southdale London Ontario. read more

Initially we thought it would be great. We were sadly mistaken. The bar apparently was too backed up to make our drinks. We only asked for Amaretto sours and a black Russian. Never did get them. We did get rum and coke that tasted funny. Our meals were a disaster. The mussels were uncooked and slimy. Most of our entrees (there were 8 of us) never made it to the table. The 2 entrees that got to the table were unremarkable. The portion size on the chicken dish were skimpy and the steak came naked of mushrooms and with cold veg. There was supposed to be a baked potato but they were out. The rest of us (6) never got our main course. When the manager came out he was rude and had an attitude. He was full of excuses and was beligerent. We did not have to pay for what we got but will never return. Most of us left hungry. I don't think I'd even give them 1 star. read more

Dear Ross, I am sorry that I am posting this review so late due to a family crisis. On October 21st we had a Spencer Hall University Reunion after not seeing each other for 47 years. I was standing on vulnerable ground considering it was a big task to plan this event. Part of the event was selecting the right restaurant for our reunion.. I chose the Angry Goat since it is part of the Holiday Inn and we were staying at the Holiday Inn.. We were fortunate that the Angry Goat opened just in time. We had food sent up to the White Oaks room in the Holiday Inn for lunch. The food was fresh tasty and well laid out. The leftovers were taken away in a timely manner. The staff at the Angry Goat were very cooperative with our requests. We also met at the Angry Goat restaurant for dinner, a group of 23. We gave the Angry Goat a big task to handle considering they had recently opened. We found the food to be delicious. The waitresses were kind and caring despite what they had to deal with considering our big group. At the end of our dinner Ross gave all of us a complimentary Greek liquor so we could toast one another. Many thanks to Ross and the staff at the Angry Goat for contributing towards making our reunion such a memorable event despite the many details that they were still working on during the process of opening a new restaurant. I must say the dinner was simply delicious. Thank you Ross for supporting me when I was standing on vulnerable ground wondering how things would work out. Everything worked out in such a wonderful way. We all wish you much success and may the Angry Goat become one of the best restaurants in London. ON.
