I wanted some jerseys printed for my ultimate frisbee team, and heard a recommendation for Angry Squid Ink. I wanted some polyester / synthetic jerseys that weren't too expensive, and they recommended a decent "Sport-Tek" fabric that worked out to around $14 per jersey with a one-color screen, which was right in my price range. I decided on Angry Squid over some other screen printing shops because it seemed like they would be able to help out with a design for the jerseys; I went back and forth on several e-mails with one of their designers, and although he wasn't able to make a few tweaks that I suggested, the final design still turned out really cool. The jerseys are holding up well after a couple months of use. Service was excellent; communicating with the shop by e-mail and phone was easy. Payment was cash or check only, and I had to send in a deposit (50% I think) before they started printing. I contacted them about three weeks before my event, so my order was printed in plenty of time, although if you're in a rush and know what you want it seemed like they could accommodate much faster orders. I ended up ordering a second batch of jerseys, which was easy and took only another week. I would order from Angry Squid again. read more

They (Brian) essentially stole from us (a tiny nonprofit raising money to drill wells in Africa) and will not return calls. Ordered 500 shirts from these guys, paid in advance (first mistake), and then got the silent treatment. They (let's just say his name is Brian) were supposed to have the shirts finished two weeks before the event. Instead, he didn't return emails, text messages, or phone calls. Back (two weeks ago) when he was returning messages, he was shifting blame on us, saying that we didn't chose a shirt color yet, when we clearly already did that if you just look back in our messages. -Seriously dude! We kicked off our charity fundraiser to raise money to drill wells in Africa and this dude took what little money we had and is not returning calls. We find them incredibly unprofessional. We are a wholesale/retail apparel company, we have run two months of purchase orders through Angry squid; the first couple were on time, ok quality, then they 'disappeared' and delivered a few weeks late, stated they had a manager quit while owner was out of town. We gave them another few changes to complete open POs for open screens, which have all been returned late, with damaged goods and misprints, and they also have billed for goods not delivered, damaged and misprinted. They offered free delivery, and have also billed now for delivery. They appear very competitively priced, but if you factor in the damages and delays and cancellations they are a very costly business risk. read more

I've been to this place for business twice. The first time, my school's French Club ordered about 20 t -shirts from these guys. This was not a bad experience. They can be hard to get a hold of, and they didn't return my calls as quickly as I would've liked, but in the end we got our t-shirts for a very low price and in a timely manner. The second time, I decided to come back here to order crew necks for about 10 people in my class because my previous experience was a good one. This was the total opposite. They took FOREVER to return my calls, and sometimes never even returned them! I had to send them numerous emails, but they somehow "didn't receive them", and the ones that they did receive they didn't even bother replying to! Whenever I called nobody would answer... One time I called to ask when my order would be ready and I was lead to an answering machine that was too full with messages... which made sense to me because they never answer their phone! Another time I called and I immediately received an automated message saying the number was disconnected... What?! After weeks of me waiting to hear back from them, Brian, the owner, finally emails me that my order will be done on Friday. When I go the following Tuesday to pick them up, he tells me they aren't ready and to come back the same time the next day and they will be ready then. That same day I paid for my order and he told me I owed him way more than he quoted in the first place! I told him I only had the amount that he said it would cost when he first gave me an estimate and he obliged... Fast forward to the next day and, sure enough, the sweatshirts are still not ready. I was so disappointed and angry, I got my money back and canceled the order. Their prices are dirt cheap, but with their horrible customer service... AMAZING!! I called them at 3pm to ask if they can work on 2 shirts for a fun crossfit competition in 2 days. Brian, the owner, asked me a few clarifying questions and said to come in with the shirts. I came in at 4pm and was greeted with a warm welcome. I had the design ready for him and he did a little bit of an edit to make it more straight and aligned. I came in thinking I was just going to drop off my shirts and pick it up the next day, but he invited me to stay and watch them make the shirts. Of course, I did. It was cool watching the steps into it. Brian was very knowledgeable with the machines and explained to me what everything does. My shirts were done within an hour and I was out of there by 5pm, a satisfied customer. I have another comp in a few months and I told Brian I'd be back for more custom printing.
