The first few times I went I loved it, but now I'll never go again. The lady seemed mad when I told her the last time I got my nails done was somewhere else, as I was in a different state at the time, and also got irritated any time I asked a question, and even shook her head at me at one point. I want to love Cutie Nails, but my first experience came up short. :( I decided to make an appointment at Cutie Nails on a friend's recommendation for a manicure/pedicure. I recommend calling in advance because walk-ins may not be readily available. When I visited, the staff was very polite and courteous. My nail technician unfortunately didn't have the skillset for the design I was looking for (I was originally thinking ombre) and I had to opt out for a simpler design. Unfortunately the experience went downhill after the standard pedicure. I came home to find that one of my toe nailbed's were cut, and I ended up getting an infection. Maybe Cutie Nails is worth visiting for standard manicures, but I don't think I'll be getting a pedicure here again. read more

First time coming to this salon from just moving into city. When reading the reviews from yelp, I decided to call ahead and make an appointment with Holly. I was so glad to be able to get in the same day! When I first walked in, I was asked to go wash my hands and Holly then handed me their selection for Dip nails. I didn't see the color I wanted so instead, I asked for Holly to look at my inspo pic and give me some advice. She was so helpful. As she started to remove my old Dip, she was so gentle and made sure not to drill too close to my actually nail! She took her time to apply my dip and shape my nails PERFECTLY. While painting my French tips on my nails, her got every finger perfectly. I have never had someone that was so gentle and paid so much attention to every little step. Love coming here. I don't know the names of the women here but they all do a good job equally. They are very consistent with how they do nails and take their time to be detailed which I appreciate. I will say it takes about an hour and a half to get a mani pedi so (coming with clean nails and no removal) so allot time to stay here that long, but that's bc they do such a good job! I will say that they can improve on meeting appointment times. Soaking in a chair for 30 mins after your appt time is not meeting the appt. It's not a big deal because I'm relaxing but it's happened twice already so I will be mindful with my time when making future appointments. read more

She was not rushing like many other manicurists usually are at other places and was very considerate and thorough with the entire process. It's rare that I find myself in a bind, but my regular nail salon was completely booked when I really needed a fresh gel manicure for an important event. I called Cutie Nails and was able to make an appointment for 5:00pm the following day. I arrived a few minutes early. Vanessa took me 20 minutes late, and I needed to leave within an hour from the start of my appointment. I was only seated after speaking up about the long wait. Vanessa rushed through the entire manicure. The paint on my nails is uneven, and does not extend to the bottom of my nail. The shape and design of my nails is very average looking. There's nothing special about it. Vanessa angrily looked at me when there was a miscommunication about the way I wanted sparkles on my nails. Her negative approach was evident throughout. She kept saying, "don't do this" or "don't do that" before I even would move. I've been getting my nails professionally done since I was 13, so I know how to handle myself during a manicure. Vanessa just seemed unhappy, and that rubbed off on me quickly. While the place appears clean, the atmosphere is depressing and a major downer. The energy is low and not fun or social at all. The reviews on here sound super hyped up and not realistic. I certainly got the vibe that the place is run by unhappy people, so I won't be back! read more

This is the second SNS dip manicure I've had and I'm in love! I have short, flimsy nails so keeping polish on them has always been a pain. Having dip nails feels like having acrylics, only better! With acrylics, they file your nail down as much as possible and that used to be really painful for me. With dip nails, they only file a little just to get a rough, even surface for the dip powder to stick to. Now my nails feel as strong as they do with acrylics, but without the pain and damage! I can actually use my nails to open things now! The color stays beautiful and looks exactly the same until the day I get them replaced. I know there are dip kits you can buy and do yourself, but to me having the perfect shape and texture is worth it. They really know what they are doing at Cutie Nails! read more

Decided to get back out there and brought a friend along since I had loved this place every time I had previously come. We called ahead and made appointments. From the moment we walked in, customer service was awful. We were met with a surprised nail tech even though the salon was empty and we had appointments. The rest of the visit went downhill form there. I'm surprised at how rudely I was treated by my nail tech and honestly embarrassed I brought my friend after raving about this spot. Best pedicure I've ever had! Went in with my mom this evening, and was immediately very impressed that they had us wash our hands first thing walking in. They have an entire sanitation area in the back for their tools, too, which honestly was so nice to see. Such a clean salon! Pedicures were great, the gals really took their time, and the sugar scrub was amazing. Our feet feel great, toenails look fabulous and price was just fine! Also witnessed them actually taking the time to scrub the pedicure tubs out and clean them, which more often then not isn't happening at a lot of salons in the area I've been to - the plastic liners + a quick rinse at other salons really doesn't cut it for me sanitation wise. So i used to love this place, but I went in the other day with a friend and we were treated terribly by an older woman. Just very rude and short. I sat quietly and got my nails done and was satisfied with the way they turned out, however when I went up to pay she upcharged me and my friend for our services. I could tell she did too because I saw her look at the price, look at me, and then change the price. What was supposed to be a $35 shellac manicure was $38 because she just felt like it.
