Pho Beef & Brisket
Jasmine M.

I didn't plan on eating here when I stumbled across this pho spot, but it ended up being perfect for a rainy, chilly day. The restaurant was modern, clean, and spacious--bonus points for a bathroom that was spotless and smelled great. The lady at the front was friendly and attentive. I ordered the beef and brisket pho, which was flavorful and comforting. I added a little spice for extra kick. The real star of the show, though, was the passion fruit lemonade--absolutely delicious. I also tried the egg rolls; they were heavy on the veggies and just okay on their own, but the dipping sauce was fantastic. I'll definitely be back, as several other menu items caught my attention.

My partner and I stopped by Anh's Kitchen for a quick lunch on July 4th. It was our first time visiting the restaurant. The space was decorated with a clean, minimalist style, and the staff were welcoming. For our appetizer, we ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls (two pieces for $8.50). They were delicious and made for a satisfying start to the meal. For my entrée, I chose the Grilled Shrimp Bowl ($16), which came with vermicelli noodles, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, peanuts, and fried shallots, plus a side of fish sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and I appreciated the subtle sweetness of the dish. However, the shrimp were overcooked and dry, which took away from the overall experience. My partner ordered the Pho Combo, which included beef, brisket, and meatballs, along with the usual sides of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño, and lime. I didn't try it myself, but he's had pho all over Atlanta and said this one was among the better ones because it was flavorful and well-balanced. While the dishes were enjoyable, we're not sure if we would return. For the portion sizes, the prices felt a bit steep. That said, we're glad we had the chance to experience the restaurant at least once.

Food was great, service is quick and it's clean and quiet on the inside,no loud music.

Special Banh Mi

This plate rocks! Pho is flavorful and authentic tasting, bahn mi tastes like the bread was made with rice flour like it's supposed to! Good southern style pho that hits the spot when you're hungover or just don't want to drive to Buford highway!

I'm so glad more Asian food has come to toco hills. I was staying nearby and was craving some Vietnamese food. The inside of the restaurant was very modern and sleek. Beautifully decorated and clean. I ordered a combination pho and a Thai tea through the kiosk. The staff was friendly and attentive, asking if I had any questions when I was ordering and if I needed anything else once I received my order. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet. One of my criteria for good pho is if I need to add any other condiments to it, but Anh's Kitchen's pho broth was so flavorful that I didn't touch the sriracha or hoisin. They gave me plenty of meat and a side of fresh herbs and vegetables. Everything I had was high quality. Overall, very impressed and would recommend others to come check it out!

Try the vermicelli grilled shrimp bowl. Very tasty and healthy! Add some sirracha sauce on it to give it a kick!

So far I have had the pho twice, the rice cubes, and the shaking beef. Everything tasted great. Big parking lot for free parking. It is amazing how similar my visits have been. Staff was not as attentive as I would have like. My table had everything I needed so my meal was not interrupted. Getting my bill took longer than expected. I think the servers do not want to interrupt your meal but I wish they would come by more often. This place looks a little rough on the outside but it is extremely clean and some what fancy on the inside. The combination Pho has all the different types of meat. I remember the meatballs, flank steak, and tripe. Next time I will get something simpler.

Can't say the interior is that much better either, though it does remind me of Vietnam and family gatherings. Service is slow, and some things take longer to come out than others. If you care about starting your meal at the same time, I would recommend ordering things to share since it can take 15 minutes between the first dish and last to come out. The food here is good! I don't typically get Vietnamese because I eat enough of it at home, but there's a good variety here where it's worth coming for. What my family, and my cousin in particular, really like from here is the bò lúc lắc or shaking beef. The spring rolls that you make yourself is also quite nice.

I ordered the Pho Dae Biet #5, which comes with eye round steak, well-done flank, marble brisket, soft tendon, and tripe. We got the large bowl, and it was very filling, so much so that we couldn't finish it and had to take the rest to go. The broth was comforting and flavorful, and all the meats were cooked well. They also served hot tea, which was perfect to sip on while we waited for our food. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was smooth. There's no real ambiance to speak of--but when the food is this good, it truly doesn't matter. The value here is incredible. The portions are generous, the quality is consistently excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the pho is as authentic as I've had anywhere. The depth of flavor in the broth, the freshness of the ingredients, and the balance of aromatics all hit exactly the right notes. My Vietnamese friends who eat here regularly have confirmed the same: this is the real deal. If you're looking for a place where the food speaks for itself--and speaks loudly--Pho Dai Loi 2 is it. This is the place. 5/5 no room for debate

I was feeling under the weather and was in the mood for some pho when I recently stopped by. To start I ordered the shrimp in a blanket. They were fried perfectly and delicious. I also ordered pho with filet mignon and shrimp. The broth was very good, the filet was tender and I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint was the lack of noodles. I ended up taking the pho to go and had to order an additional side of noodles for $3. The customer service was pleasant and look forward to returning.
